Taiora Hair Clip

That's right! Today I'm going to show you how to do your own Taiora hair clip! If you already forgot - In the second movie Tai gave Sora a hair clip. They fought about it because she thought that he doesn't like her hats. Tai apologized and Sora thanked him for the present. Because there was a really cute Taiora story behind it I just named the hair clip "Taiora hair clip".

I decided to do this for you since it's my 5th birthday. Page's fifth birthday ... not mine. The clip isn't really hard to make and doesn't take so much time. And it's cheap. You might like it or not. I know it's not the most beautiful hair clip you ever saw but I really enjoyed making it and I want to share my Taiora stuff with you. So let's start.

Making the hair clip

There aren't many things that you need for that. All you need is a hair clip (a grey/silver one), red FIMO mass (or any other mass - I don't know what do you use, but in the end, the mass has to be in form. So if you want you can also use a clay or anything like it), one soft colored paper (yellow). I don't really know the word for this kind of paper. I think it's called foam paper but I'm not sure. They are soft like a sponge but a little thinner. And you'll also need a pen (or not), scissors and a glue (superglue - just please be careful with it).

Okay first you have to have a clip. If you didn't find a grey or a silver hair clip, don't worry. You have to take a clip that's covered with a plastic sticker and you have to scrape the sticker down (I used my nails for that). The only "bad" thing about it is that the clip under the sticker isn't really in good condition. And it's ugly. Look at the picture below to see what am I talking about.

Okay the second thing I did is this yellow sunray (I think that the hair clip is either a sun or a flower). I used a pen and I draw the whole sunray on the yellow foam paper. After it I just cut the sunray out of the paper.

Now you have to do this red thing in the middle. Just use the mass and make an egg shape of it. It must be thin but not too thin. When you're done you have to putt the mass in the oven for 30 minutes (on 110C/230F).

And now you're almost done. You just have to glue all the things together. First the yellow part on the clip and then the red part on the yellow paper. You can also draw a face on the red part (if you look at the original version of the clip you'll see the face. I didn't do it because I think that it's prettier without the face. But you can draw it with a pen or with a toothpick before you put the mass in the oven.

When you're done you have your own Taiora hair clip! Now it's up to you how to use it. You can use it for a Sora cosplay or you can just wear it as a normal clip. I hope you like my tutorial and I hope I'll make something new soon!
