Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna - Plot
The film is set up 5 years after Digimon Tri and over 10 years after the summer camp when Tai and the others first meet their Digimon partners. It's 2010 and Tai and his friends are becoming adults. Since the last Tri movie it's become pretty normal to see the Digimon in the real world. Everybody is following their plans for the future.During all this Digimon Eosmon appears and robs DigiDestined of their consciousness. While the Tai and the others are fighting they notice something goes wrong with Agumon's and the others' evolutions. They are informed by Menoa and Imura who are scholars whose area of study is the Digimon that the partnership with their Digimon will soon end and they will be forever separated, as they are not children anymore.
So they have to choose. If they want to save the world they have to fight but with fighting they will have to say goodbye to their Digimon partner much sooner. But despite that, they decide to fight together one last time to save the world.
