Davis' home

Odaiba (お台場)

Odaiba is part of Tokyo. It is a large artificial island in Tokyo Bay. The Rainbow Bridge connects Odaiba to central Tokyo. Odaiba was built back in the 1850s for defensive purposes. In 1860 Odaiba opened its door as a port and shipyard in the city today known as Yokosuka. In the late 20th century it was dramatically expanded as a seaport district and later in the 1990s it has developed as a major commercial, residential , and leisure area. (Wikipedia)

DAVIS' HOME IN ODAIBA FROM DIGIMON ADVENTURE & 02

Like all the others Davis also lives in Odaiba. In one of the episodes we can see he was living in Odaiba when Myotismon attacked the Real World in Digimon Adventure. He probably didn't live in Hikarigaoka before like the rest of the original DigiDestined.

Davis' building is shown a few times and it appears he lives in a Sarea complex like Tai and Kari do. Maybe even the same building as them. Definitely very close to them.

Their apartment is actually pretty nice. When you come inside of the apartment on the right side there is a door to the bathroom and on the left there is a door with a cat decoration - And I think this would be Jun's room. The apartment is open like Tai and Kari's. From the hallway you come to the kitchen, dining place and in the end there is a living room. In the first episode where we can see Davis' apartment, we can see Davis coming out of his room - out of the door that's behind the sofa. But in later episodes, Davis' room is behind the television. Maybe just a little mistake or he switched rooms during the second season.

I really like Davis' room because it's not shown clean all the time and it feels more real. Davis can be messy so the room can be messy too. He has his own television in it and a loooot of books. Davis doesn't really seem like a guy who reads that much. Otherwise the room looks like every teenage room.

Nakano (中野)

Nakano is a special ward in the Tokyo Metropolis in Japan. The English translation of its Japanese self-designation is Nakano City (中野区, Nakano-ku). The ward was founded on October 1, 1932, when the towns of Nogata and Nakano were absorbed into the former Tokyo City as Nakano Ward. (Wikipedia)

DAVIS' HOME IN NAKANO FROM DIGIMON ADVENTURE 02: THE BEGINNING

Okay, so this is just one of the hypothetical options for Davis's home to be located in Nakano in the new movie The Beginning. The movie starts with Davis at home cooking some ramen when he gets a phone call from his boss. The next scene shows him running on Nakano-dori Avenue towards the ramen shop where he works. But since the street is very close to Nakano Station, I am wondering if maybe he is shown running after leaving his apartment and he lives somewhere close to the station. Or perhaps they show him running after boarding the train and getting off at Nakano Station, and his job is actually located somewhere near there?

You can click here to check the location on maps and evaluate for yourself.

Otherwise, we can barely see his apartment, but it looks very similar to Tai's. It looks really nice for one person. We can actually see his entrance with a small kitchen that is perfect for one person (or two, if you count V-mon). It's big enough for him to learn and experiment with ramen cooking. The rest is kinda hidden from us; we can see his messy table and a drawer full of different funky sunglasses and Digimon stuff – a digivice, Tai's goggles, and a D-Terminal. I love this kind of apartment; I just pretend it looks the same as Tai's.

We can also see Nakano City a lot in Last Evolution Kizuna and in Digimon Universe: App Monsters where Nakano Broadway is shown, so it's not really a new location in the Digimon franchise.
