Episode 01 - Enter Flamedramon

A new start. It was the first day of school. T.K. just moved back to Tokyo and went to the school with Cody and Yolei. Davis is really happy because he's in the same class as Kari (again). Davis told her that some random guy said that his goggles were cool (T.K. said that).

They get a new student for this semester. It was T.K. (again). He sat next to Kari. When Davis saw that they know each other he was really jealous and he asked himself where they know each other.

T.K.: Long time no see.
Kari: You got tall, didn't you?
Davis: What's with this guy? How does he know Hikari-chan so well?

When Kari and T.K. wanted to go home, Davis came to them. He was speaking to T.K. and Kari was a little bit angry when Davis called T.K. "you". Davis wanted to know what's T.K's deal with Kari. Since T.K. didn't really know what he mean he said that Davis' really funny. And that actually pissed Davis off. I wonder what would happen if Yolei wouldn't interrupt them. She had an email from Tai to Kari.

Davis: Hey, you!
Kari: It's not "you", it's Takeru-kun!
Davis: You, Takeru, what's your deal with Hikari-chan?
T.K.: Huh? What do you mean? Daisuke-kun, you're funny!
Davis: I'm not funny at all!

All of them (along with Izzy) went to the computer room. They wanted to go to the digital world and Davis wanted to go with them, because he wanted to save Tai too (Davis already knew something about Digimon because he heard Tai talking about it). The next second Davis get his digivice from the monitor and he went to the digital world with T.K. and Kari (Izzy couldn't make it, because he was interrupted by Yolei and Cody).

Tai was really surprised to see Davis in the digital world. Tai took them to the cave where the armor egg of courage was. Davis took it and V-mon came from it. Ken as Digimon Kaiser sent Monochromon to attack them. They were all running away and Kari hurt her ankle while trying to avoid the fire. She couldn't stand up and because Monochromon was going to attack her, Davis used his armor egg to protect her. V-mon evolved in Flamedramon. He saved Kari, Gatomon and also Monochromon from Digimon Kaiser control.

In the end Tai gave Davis his goggles. Davis was really happy about it when Kari said they suit him.

In the dubb version Davis was really jealous at T.K. because he thought that T.K. wants to make a move on "his girl" (Kari). And later when Davis "attacked" the two of them, he called T.K. a buddy and later T.J. and some other names. Davis wanted to know how does he know Kari. In the end Kari also said to Davis that the new goggles look really cute.

Episode 03 - A New DigiTude

This is actually just from the dubb version. The DigiDestined went to the digital world. In there they met Digimon Kaiser who said that they're not allowed to be in the digital world, because they are not DigiDestined. They said that they are but Kaiser denied them. He said that only the perfect human beings like himself can be DigiDestined. Davis asked him what does he thinks of Kari (meaning that Davis thinks she is perfect).

Later at the end of the episode Davis is talking about how he's going to beat the Digimon Kaiser. Kari ignored him and asked T.K. if he's going to beat him. But he wasn't sure - they'll try their best.

In the original version, when Davis and the others met Digimon Kaiser in the digital world they were talking about the chosen children and being on the same level. Davis never mentioned Kari while talking to Digimon Kaiser.

And later at the end of the episode, Davis said that he'll beat Digimon Kaiser and Kari ignored him asking T.K. if he agrees with her. And of course, he does. That made Davis jealous again.

Episode 04 - Iron Vegiemon

Just like in the third episode, Davis asked Kari what she thinks about his theory that Digimon Kaiser ran away because he was scared of them. As usual, Kari didn't agree with him, but instead, she agreed with T.K. - that he had other plans and he has to go somewhere else. That didn't really make Davis happy.

Later in the episode Davis didn't want Kari to go with them to fight the enemy, because he thinks it's too dangerous for her. But Kari still wanted to go with them and T.K. said that she's already used to it. Davis was pissed again and he yelled at T.K. and he used the wrong word and that made everyone laugh. Because of it Davis was a little bit angry and he blushed.

When they were walking T.K. told Davis that he met his sister Jun and she was really nice. Davis didn't really care and he was sure that she bad-mouthed him. Even though T.K. said it's not true he still didn't believe him. He said that she always talk bad about him to everyone. She doesn't like him, but he doesn't care, because he doesn't like her either. That really made Matt angry. They almost started fighting, but T.K. managed to stop Matt at the right time.

Apparently everyone heard what Davis said about his sister. Kari came to him and told him to stop talking like that because she hates people who talk bad about their siblings. Davis became really depressed because he thought that Kari hates him now. Even V-mon said that he never saw Davis so depressed.

Kari: I hate people who talk bad about their siblings.
Davis: Hate? *Kari's voice in his head: Hate, hate, hate!*
V-mon: Daisuke?
Davis: She hates me ... Hikari-chan hates me ...
V-mon (thinking): It's the first time I see Daisuke like this ...

In the dubb version Kari also agreed with T.K., that Digimon Kaiser has a different plan and he didn't leave because he saw "their amazing skills" and he was too afraid to deal with them.

Later Davis didn't want Kari to go with them, but Kari said it's not a big deal. He called T.K. by a different name - T.J. and everyone was laughing at him because he "forgot" how to spell T.K.'s name.

In dubs after Kari tells him she doesn't like someone talking bad about their family, Davis can't believe it and we hear his voice saying: "She hates me - she loves me - she hates me ..." He thinks Kari hates him and V-mon says that he never saw him so depressed.

Episode 05 - Old Reliable

Davis is on his way to the computer room. On his way there he met Kari. He asked her if she's going to the computer room and since she said that she does, Davis was thinking (he said those things out loud) that if Kari's going there he doesn't care about the others. That would be even better for him if no one's around. When he and Kari came to the computer room he was disappointed because everyone else was there.

Davis: You're going to the computer room, right?
Kari: Yeah, of course!
Davis: Well, if Hikari-chan's coming, I don't care about the others ... Actually, it's better when no one's around ...
Kari: Huh?
Davis: Ah, nothin' nothin' nothin'! C'mon, let's go!

Right before they decided to go to the digital world, they were talking about the Digimon Kaiser. Kari was really sad because of it and Davis looked at her also with a sad face (like he doesn't want her to be sad), so he tried to cheer her up with his will to defeat the Digimon Emperor.

When they went to the Digi world it was really freezing there. Because Davis was really cold there he asked Kari if she's alright. And she was.

Davis: It's freezing ... what's with this place? Hikari-chan, are you alright?
Kari: Yeah.

In the end of the episode Cody invited Joe to visit his house. Kari wanted to go too because she has heard that Cody has the best ohagi. Because Kari wanted to go, Davis said that he's going too. But Kari didn't want him to go because she was sure he and V-mon would eat her part too. Since Davis still wanted to go he said to V-mon that he can't go.

In the dubb version when Davis invited Kari to go with him to the computer room and she said yes, he was thinking about two of them being alone in a dangerous digital world. When Kari asked what did he say, he said he started to learn french language.

In the digital world it was the same as in the original version. Davis asked Kari if she's okay and she was. And at the end of the episode Kari wanted to go to Cody's house to meet his grandfather. When Davis said that he wanted to go too, Kari asked him if he has to do everything she does. He said that the two of them are partners but she didn't agree with him since he already has a partner - V-mon.

Episode 06 - Family Picnic

Digidestined went to the digital world to have a picnic together with their Digimon partners and with a special guest - Mimi. They were looking for a place where they could sit and eat. At some point T.K. asked Davis if they can have lunch. Davis said that it's too early, but when Kari said that she's hungry Davis decided it's time to have lunch. After it T.K. made such a funny face!

In the dubbs it was the same. T.K. wanted to eat and Davis thought it was too early till Kari said that she's hungry. Davis always wanted to do things that will please Kari. He just wanted her to like him ;)

Episode 07 - Guardian Angel

Digidestined were in the digital world. When they decided to go back to the real world (because their Digimon couldn't fight because they were hungry) Kari couldn't leave because Guardromon destroyed the little television which is the connection between the real and the digital world.

In the real world Davis noticed that Kari isn't with them. Davis was really mad at T.K. because Kari was right behind him and he didn't help her. He even yelled at Cody, because he was protecting T.K.. (Davis apologized for it).

T.K. wanted to go to the digital world to bring Kari back because he felt it's his fault that Kari didn't come with them. Davis didn't want T.K. to go alone and take all the credits so he decided to go with him. Davis suggested they should flip a coin to see who's going to save Kari. Since the coin was fake Davis won, but T.K. busted him anyway. So they just decided to save Kari together.

T.K. let Patamon to evolve in Agumon and Patamon said to Davis that Gatomon's evolution is almost the same. That she evolve into Angewomon. Davis got really jealous and he wanted V-mon to evolve to UltraAngemon. T.K. said to Patamon to stop teasing Davis like that.

Later when T.K. and Davis met Kari first cried Davis' name. Of course that made Davis really happy. Davis told that to T.K. but he doesn't really care.

Kari: Daisuke-kun! Takeru-kun! You came back!
Davis: Did you hear that, Takeru? She said "Daisuke-kun" first!
T.K.: Good for you.

In the dubbs Davis also blamed T.K. for what happened to Kari. He should have let her go first. T.K. and Davis started to argue who's going to save Kari. He also flipped a coin and since T.K. busted him they decided to go together. V-mon later said that they argue a lot but that's because human girls make human boys weird.

Patamon also teased Davis and he asked him if there's a Angebabymon too and as in the original he wanted V-mon to digivolve into Ange-something.

When Kari cried Davis' name first Davis said that it was actually his idea but he decided to bring T.K. with him. T.K. just said "whatever".

Episode 08 - Ken's Secret

Since Davis play soccer he had a soccer matched with Ken's team. All the DigiDestined (the new team) and Tai came to watch the match. Through the whole match Kari was holding DemiV-mon and she was cheering for him along with others. She was also taking some photos of Davis and later she showed them to him. Davis was really impressed by them - she caught the real moment.

I think it was really cute to see Kari with DemiV-mon. In the dubb version when Kari was showing Davis the pictures she said that he looks good on camera.

Episode 11 - Storm of Friendship

Davis has some problems in this episode. He was thinking of how much Digimon partners mean to others. That the relationships between humans and their Digimon partners are really good. And he has been asking himself if he would do all this stuff for V-mon too. When he finally got over it (and when he found the answers he was looking for :p) V-mon finally evolved to Raidramon and helped to save Agumon from Digimon Kaiser. Kari was impressed by his actions. He would be really happy to hear it if he wasn't in "shock".

Kari: Daisuke-kun, that was amazing! You brought Agumon back! I knew you could do it!
Davis: We did it?
Raidramon: Looks like it.
Kari: Daisuke-kun?
T.K.: I wonder what's wrong with him ...
Cody: It looks like he's not sure of what he accomplished.

In the dubbs Kari also complimented him but Davis looked like he's going to throw up. They also asked him if he's sick.

Episode 15 - Big Trouble In Little Edo

The DigiDestined went in the digital world to help Gekomon, because Digimon Kaiser "attacked" their village. He put the dark spiral on good Digimon and they turned evil. Just Gekomons and ShogunGekomon didn't have the dark spiral.

A Ninjamon slipped a Dark Spiral on ShogunGekomon while he and the DigiDestined were sleeping (he wanted ShogunGekomon to serve the Digimon Kaiser). Digidestined had to fight him in order to save him from the Dark spiral. When they managed to defeat him he falls asleep.

Gekomon asked them to remove the dark spiral from their master. Since ShogunGekomon had the dark spiral around his hair (tail? o,o) Davis was joking that they should cut off the dark spiral along with his hair. Gekomon is really shocked by that and Kari said to Davis that he's really cruel. Davis almost cried because of that and he yelled that he was only joking. But Kari was also joking and she started to laugh.

In the dubb version, Davis also made that joke and Kari told him that he's so insensitive to which Davis replied that he's so sensitive that he uses a special toothpaste so that his teeth don't hurt when he eats ice cream. And apparently that made Kari laugh.

Episode 18 - Run Yolei Run

The DigiDestined had a meeting at Izzy's house. They were talking about Digimon Kaiser. That they need to "destroy" him really soon because he's really starting to destroy the digital world. His Dark Towers were everywhere. They decided they need to go to his base (Cody and Izzy found it) and destroy it. Since they knew that this isn't one day job they wondered what to say to their parents. Davis said they could just lie to them (like they were at friend's house or something like this) and Kari was a little bit surprised because she asked him if he would do something like that.

Davis: Just make something up. Like you're staying at a friend's or something.
Kari: Daisuke-kun, you would do that?
Davis: It-it's just an idea ...

They later decided to go camping along with Izzy, Tai, and Matt and the three of them will be their alibi. A few seconds later Izzy's mother entered the room and Kari and Davis were shown holding each other (like they were dancing). T.K. was on the floor with Yolei having a " strength competition" (I don't know the word for it).

In the dubbs Davis suggested some lame excuse and Kari was all like "and your parents would believe you if you would say that?" to which he declined because his parents don't believe him anything.

Episode 21 - The Crest of Kindness

The DigiDestined finally managed to defeat Digimon Kaiser. When they came back from the digital world they were all so tired. Because of it, they decided to go home already (since the camping was just an excuse so they could go somewhere for more than one day). Matt's (and T.K.'s) dad was driving them home in a really big car. The DigiDestined fall asleep in Matt's dad's car (because they were tired :p) and surprisingly Davis and Kari were sleeping next to each other.

Episode 26 - United We Stand

The DigiDestined decided to "repair" the digital world because Digimon Kaiser almost destroyed it. They were working really hard on repairing a bridge. When they finally recreated it Minotauromon came and started to destroy the bridge. Raidramon attacked him with a Thunder Blast and made a large hole into the bridge the DigiDestined created before Minotauromon came. Davis is really sad because of it (since they put a lot of work in it). Kari later said to him, that she still likes him even though the bridge is destroyed again.

Kari: Don't worry Davis, I still like you.

In the Japanese version, they all just wanted to cheer Davis up because he was crying when Minotauromon destroyed the bridge. If they work hard together they'll repair the bridge soon.

Episode 28 - The Insect Master's Trap

Digidestined were destroying Dark Towers. While destroying them Davis said that the one who destroys the most control spires goes on a date with him. But soon he added that only Kari is eligible.

Davis: Whoever destroys the most control spires gets to go on a date with me! By the way, Kari's the only one eligible.

That was just in the dubb version. In the original version no one was talking at that moment. :p

Episode 39 - Dramon Power

Davis decided to go help Ken with the evil Digimon in his area. All other DigiDestined went to Izzy's house.

Wormmon and V-mon did a DNA evolution and evolved into Paildramon. They managed to throw a few Digimon to the digital world (through the computer), but they had a few problems with Mummymon. Since Paildramon didn't stand a chance to him he evolved into Imperialdramon - with the power of other DigiDestined. With his help they managed to send the rest of the Digimon to the digital world. Since they could travel with Imperialdramon really fast he took Davis and Ken around the world and they destroyed a few dark towers. When they came back to Izzy's place Kari first noticed them. She only mentioned Davis' name.

Kari: Daisuke-kun and the rest are back!

In the dubb version she said both names - Ken and Davis have returned.

Episode 45 - The Dark Gate

The DigiDestined were fighting against Demon. He wanted to have a dark seeds from Ken. But Davis and the others didn't want Demon to get Ken and that's why they were fighting again him, but he was too strong for them. Even Imperialdramon couldn't defeat him. He threatened he will destroy Hikarigaoka if Ken isn't coming with him (because they were in Hikarigaoka at that moment). DigiDestined didn't know what to do because sending him in the digital world wouldn't help since he can open the gate to the real world at any time. T.K. said that they have to find a place from where he can't return and Kari suggested the Dark ocean. They didn't know how to open to the gate to the dark ocean and Ken said that he managed to open it once with his digivice.

To do so he had to fight against his fear of darkness. He put his digivice in the air and the gate started to open up. Ken was really afraid of it and Kari told him not to give up. Everyone was there for him. Davis said to him that he's not the same person anymore, he's not the Digimon Kaiser anymore. Ken realized that Davis is right and Kari started to feel something warm. She asked herself if she is feeling Davis's heart.

Davis: That's right Ken! Don't give up! You're not your old self anymore! You're not the Digimon Kaiser! You've been troubled, suffered, and finally broke free of the power of darkness, right? Haven't you atoned for what you did? So there's nothing to fear anymore!
Kari (thinking): This warmth ... is it Daisuke-kun's heart?

I think it's really nice and maybe from this moment on Kari started to feel something about Davis? Yolei felt that Ken isn't so afraid anymore (and in the end she marry him) and Kari felt Davis' warm heart. (Cody and T.K. apparently didn't feel anything). Who knows?

In the dubb version Kari only said that she never heard Davis telling so much sense before.

Episode 46 - Duel of The WarGreymon

The DigiDestined group split up and each group had to meet one of the dark spore children. Davis, Kari, and Ken were together in a group. They went to the Adachi ward where one of the children lived. The mother of the child didn't want to listen to Davis and because of it Davis apologized to Ken and Kari, because his explanation wasn't good enough and he only made the mother mad.

Kari said (really loud) that it wasn't his fault. Gatomon calmed her down by saying that they all knew understand that it wasn't Davis' fault.

Later in the same episode, Kari was following Oikawa, Arukenimon, and Mummymon because they were running away. Kari called everyone for help and only Yolei and T.K. came. Kari was happy to see them but then she asked where Davis was (he went ahead with Ken).

In the dubbs Kari acted like she didn't really care. And she asked for Davis AND Ken (not just Davis).
