Taiora evidence - Season 01
Episode 05 - Kabuterimon's Electro Shocker
Digidestined were walking all around the digiworld to see around. When T.K. and Mami were too tired to walk they decided to take a break. Izzy was on his computer which didn't work at that time. We can already see that Tai hits things to make them work (again). When Izzy was upset because of it Tai tried to defend himself. He only wanted to help, but Sora kinda explained Tai why doing this is wrong.
In the distance Tai saw a smoke and went there. There was this factory and they decided to go inside. They split into 2 groups. Tai went with Joe and Sora. They were roaming around the factory and they finally discovered a room where Andromon was caught between the gears of the machine.
Since Biyomon and Agumon said that Andromon is a really good Digimon, they decided to help him out. They were pulling him out of the gears of the machine. Since Andromon was really heavy and stuck there they all helped. Because Tai didn't hold him tight enough he falls on a machine gear which actually just started the machine running. Because of it the black gear infected Andromon and he became an evil Digimon. When they finally managed to save Andromon from the machine he didn't wake up. Tai wanted to hit him but Sora and Joe stopped him. Because Agumon was the same as Tai he hit Andromon in the face.
Because of it he woke up and grabbed Sora's leg. He stood up and Sora was hanging upside down, because Andromon was still holding her leg. Tai and Biyomon became very angry (Joe just stood there) and wanted him to let Sora go. When Biyomon attacked him he threw Sora at Tai and Agumon. They managed to catch her but because of the force they all fell down.
Tai: What are you doing?
Biyomon: Sora!
Tai and Agumon made a plan on how to hit him so they could escape. They were running away from him and Andromon ran after them. They somehow managed to get away from his attacks. In the end they finally defeated the black gear inside Andromon and he became a good Digimon again.
It's natural to be afraid and angry when your friend is in danger. I like it how they only showed Tai's and Biyomon's reaction. Since the two of them are the closest people (/Digimon) to Sora. At least in the first season (since Tai knows her for a long time and Biyomon is her Digimon partner). In the dubb version Tai wasn't really "scared and angry" but he was really prepared to take action and wanted to attack him.
Episode 14 - Departure for a New Continent
The DigiDestined finally met Gennai in the digital world. Gennai wanted them to come to the Server Continent and defeat the enemy there. Gennai also explained a lot of things about Digimon and the digital world to them, so they decided to follow the map he gave to them and find him.
Because they had to cross the ocean they decided to do the raft. Even Leomon came to help them. When they finished it they left the File island behind and went forward to Server Continent. On their way they run into Whamon who swallowed them.
They were going really fast to Whamon's stomach (or something). Because everyone needed to hold on something, Sora was holding herself on Tai's waist!
Whamon ate them because of the black gear. When they defeated it he let them out and somehow destroyed their raft. Because they helped him he decided to let them ride with him (on top of his head and later in his mouth).
I really like how Sora was holding on Tai. I think it was cute. I was focused on where Sora was standing before Whamon appeared. She was standing next to Joe and Matt, but when Whamon ate them she somehow appeared next to Tai. At first she was holding on the raft and later on the Tai's waist.
Episode 16 - The Arrival of SkullGreymon
When Tai got his crest he was acting really strange. He forced Agumon into eating food even though he wasn't hungry at all. Since Agumon was the only one who already evolved in his ultimate level Tai thought that everything is on him. Even Sora thought that Tai's a different person now than he was before.
Joe's crest started to blink and he knew that his crest is somewhere near. So they all went to find it. Because Tai was really into it and the others were playing football (soccer) he was really pissed.
When they were searching for it Etemon trapped them. He made Agumon fight Greymon. Tai was really focused on Greymon's evolving. That's all he had in his mind during the Greymon vs. Greymon fight. Meanwhile Joe found his crest and they managed to get out of Etemon's trap.
Tai knew that Greymon will evolve if his partner is in danger. That's why he decided to go to him and put himself in danger. Sora wanted to stop him. Since she was holding him he asked her to let him go because this is the only way Greymon will evolve. Sora still didn't want him to go, but Tai wanted Greymon to evolve no matter what.
When Tai was in danger (because the evil Greymon wanted to attack him) Sora asked Biyomon to help him (and so did Matt). Because of all the pressure Greymon finally evolved in his ultimate level. But the evolution went wrong - instead of MetalGreymon there was SkullGreymon who only thinks about fighting.
Other Digimons helped SkullGreymon to return back to Koromon. Tai apologized to him and he knew it's his fault. He even asked Sora about it (even though she agreed with him she was didn't really want to say it).
In the dub version Tai was really rude to Sora. When she wanted to stop him from getting hurt he said to her to mind her own business. He's acting like a douchebag in the dub version.
Episode 19 - Prisoner of the Pyramid
The DigiDestined went into a pyramid where Etemon was living to find their crests. On their way Izzy explained to them that if they die in the Digital world, they will also die in the real world. They decided to strike Etemon the next day.
Tai was guarding their place first and Sora came to replace him as a guard. She was in a bad mood because she knew what they're all risking only to get her crest. She told Tai about it and he cheered her up.
Sora: I'm sorry Taichi. In the end ... You're going through all of this trouble just for my Crest, right?
Tai: That's how it ended up. Anyway, I'm not the type of guy who turns his back on someone in trouble. You're not acting like yourself, Sora. If it was your Crest that we'd found first, would you be bothered about this as you are now?
Sora: I doubt I would have even thought of it.
The next day when Tai thought they were just data he did some stupid things. And Sora was really bothered by it. He said to her she worries too much, but she still keeps "yelling" on him.
The DigiDestined came to the room where Nanomon was captured. He wanted them to save him and in return he would show them where Sora's crest is. They managed to save Nanomon and in return, he kidnapped Sora and Biyomon because he needed her crest. Tai ran after her. Sora called after his name when Nanomon took her. When they came to the electric wires Tai was too scared to go through when he found out that he can die in the real world if he dies in the digital world.
Sora was in danger, but he still couldn't move to get to her. He looked like he was in shock. Because of it, Tai started to cry really hard and others just looked at him with sad faces.
The dub version was actually pretty fun. When Tai couldn't move and he was just staring at all those electric wires, Joe and Izzy were really annoying. They were both like "Tai, just go already... Sora needs us ... what are you doing? ... move ...". They were really pushing him to go through.
In the end when Tai was crying he blamed himself (in the dub) and Matt was all like how couldn't he move. But later he said that they're all in this together and they will save her also together.
Episode 20 - The Earthquake of MetalGreymon
Tai was concerned about Sora. He wanted to save her immediately, but others wanted to make a plan. Tai was kinda angry because he didn't save her. Others were trying to cheer him up a little. Izzy later found Sora's whereabouts and Tai told them he wants to save Sora no matter what. Tai's really happy when others agreed with him and wanted to help save her no matter what.
Tai: Sora's in there ... Guys, I know it'll be dangerous, but I want to do whatever it takes to save Sora! So ...
Joe: We know, Taichi.
Matt: We feel the same.
Mimi: Sora-san is a close friend among all of us here.
The next day they went to the place where Sora should be in. Izzy told Tai that they have to go through the electric wires again and Tai was kinda scared because of it. But he wants to save Sora no matter what so he will do anything to save her. They made a plan. Tai and Izzy were the only one who went inside to save Sora. On their way Etemon interrupted them. Izzy wanted Tai to go to save Sora and he and Tentomon will try to defeat Etemon.
Agumon and Tai went forward and they came to the electric wires. Tai stopped in front of the wires. He was still scared. Agumon wanted to go first but Tai didn't let him. Day before he couldn't go through and he lost all of his courage and he wanted to have it again. And since Sora was on the other side of the wires he didn't have a choice. He was still scared and Agumon was cheering for him. And they made it. Even his crest started to glow.
Tai: I'll go. There's something very precious to me on the other side of this wall.
Agumon: You mean Sora?
Tai: Yeah. But that's not all. I feel like there's something else very precious over there that I'd lost yesterday.
Agumon: Taichi ... You can do it, Taichi!
Etemon attacked Agumon and Tai and Agumon decided to fight him. He wanted Tai to go to save Sora. He found Nanemon and Sora in the next-door room. When Nanemon made a clone of Sora he decided he doesn't need the real Sora anymore. He made a "black hole" and "pushed" Sora into it. Tai grabbed her hand in the last second. Nanemon came to them and tried to pull Tai's hand off Sora's hand. Tai gave Sora her digivice and crest so that Biyomon could digivolve. Biyomon evolved to Birdramon and saved them.
Later were Tai and Agumon thrown in the real world. The others were really worried about him. Sora especially.
In dub version it was all about Tai and him facing his fears.
Episode 22 - Forget About It!
When Tai came back from the real world to the Digi world he first found Tokomon. Tokomon told them what happened when Tai left the digital world. Digidestineds were looking for him for a month and a half and they still didn't find him. There was no trace of Tai and Agumon anywhere. Izzy wanted to contacted Gennai and asked him for help. He wanted to go look for him, but they didn't know where he was. They were all depressed a little because of it. They didn't find him and they were starting to give up on him.
In the middle of the night Sora woke Tokomon up. She told him she and Biyomon are going to look for Tai by themselves. Sora and Biyomon were the first two who left the group to find Tai. Later they all separated.
In the dub version they were all really tired of looking for Tai. And a little bit depressed. They sounded like they already gave up on him. But Sora and Biyomon left the group in the middle of the night to search for Tai.
Episode 26 - Sora's Crest of Love
Digidestineds were searching for Sora because she was the only one left to find. Tai was kinda sad when neither of the group found her. They decided to find her with their digivices. They were getting pretty close to her when Flymon started to attack them. Because they were losing Sora sent Birdramon to help them. When they saw Birdramon they ran towards her, but she still kept running away.They finally caught her and they wanted to know why is she running away. She told them that when she and Biyomon left to search for Tai they heard someone talking about the crests - about its meaning. When Sora said that her crest is crest of love Tai said that the meaning of it fits her perfectly. She started yelling at him that it doesn't fit her at all. Tai tried to explain why he thinks that way but Sora kept denying everything he said. She even said that he doesn't really know her. Sora was really sad. She thought that her crest won't glow because she doesn't have any love.
Because Sora was still so worried about it Tai wanted to cheer her up. He told her that DemiDevimon was lying about it (that her crest won't glow). Sora started to cry and wanted to throw her crest away but Tai stopped her. She started to cry even more and Tai didn't really know what to do. Matt said to him to just let her cry.
Later when they were sleeping, DemiDevimon attacked Biyomon so he couldn't move. Meanwhile Myotismon arrived. When all the Digimon were fighting against him Biyomon wanted to join them, but Sora didn't let him. When Biyomon used the same words as Sora did with her mother she realized that her mother actually loved her. Biyomon evolved to Birdramon and attacked Myotismon. When he was hurt Sora's crest started glowing and Biyomon finally evolved into ultimate level. Because they didn't stand a chance against him they ran away.
Later they talked about it and Tai said to Sora that she had nothing to worry about, because her crest glowed after all. Because Biyomon told how much love he felt from Sora, Tai said that he also wants Sora's love.
Biyomon: I felt your love!
Sora: I'm sorry about before.
Biyomon: I'm glad you're back to your usual self!
Tai: I want Sora's love too.
Joe: Taichi, you dummy!
The dub version is actually almost the same. Just their attitude is more rude (aggressive) than in the original version. In the end when they were talking about it Tai said that he also felt something and that it was probably Sora's love shining through.
Episode 29 - Return to Highton View Terrance
Digidestineds finally arrived in the real world. They took their Digimon with themselves. They asked their teacher if they could drop them off in Hikarigaoka. The driver dropped them off in Hikarigaoka after all. They went there to find the eighth DigiDestined.
Since Myotismon was in the real world too he let some evil Digimon to go with him in the real world. To help them find the 8th DigiDestined. Mammothmon started to attack Hikarigaoka. Since Birdramon was fighting Mammothmon Sora was pretty close to the "battlefield". When Birdramon was evolving Mammothmon attacked Tai and Sora, but Garudamon protected them. When he moved away, Tai was protecting Sora with his body. They were practically holding each other. (a really cute scene). Garudamon managed to defeat Mammothmon and the DigiDestined started to look for 8th DigiDestined again.
Episode 35 - Flower Power
In the early morning Sora decided to go to the soccer morning practice, because she knew that Tai will be there and she wanted to talk to him about what should they do now. Through the first season Sora and Tai always talk to each other more than anyone else - if they're worried about something, scared ...
