Taiora evidence - Digimon Tri

Part 01 - Reunion

It was a little bit of a weird scene at the beginning of the film when Tai comes to school and sees Sora and Matt talking to each other and turns around and go in another direction. Sora sees him and greets him. It was like he was avoiding them?

Later Tai has a soccer game on the same day as Matt's concert. He asks pretty much everyone to come to his match (even Mimi who is now living in America) except Sora. Since no one can come, Tai texts Sora last minute asking her to come watch the game. Since she already planned to go to Matt's concert she decides she will try to go to the soccer game as well as to the concert which drives her a little bit crazy with almost no time to do both.

Sora: Taichi should've asked me earlier. Then I'd have time to get ready. Soccer is from 2 pm, so even if I rush ... It'll take 30 mins to get to the concert venue. Oh no! What do I do? Leave right after the game and ... When does Yamato's band play their set? If they're first, I'll never make it in time. What if I go see them first? What's wrong with me? Get it together! Why do they put me on the spot like this? Enough. I won't go to either of them. I won't! I'm running late!

After the meeting with all the original DigiDestined the girls go out to eat. There Mimi starts to talk about the fight between Matt and Tai and how handsome they have become. She teases Sora about it which makes her face completely red.

Sora: Taichi and Yamato's fight.
Mimi: Just leave them be.
Sora: But ...
Mimi: Can't do it? They've both grown to be very handsome. What're you gonna do, Sora-san?
*Sora chokes with food a little*

Part 02 - Determination

When they all went to the hot spring inn to celebrate Meiko and Meicoomon as a new member of their group, Biyomon and Meicoomon got lost in the man's part of the hot spring. The girls decide to break in to get them back. Sora runs to Biyomon just as Tai and Matt come out of the sauna with only a towel around their waist which makes Sora scream. Matt disappears back inside leaving Tai alone with the girls.

Part 03 - Confession

It's not really a Taiora moment, but I just thought it was a cute moment and had to put it somewhere. When Sora is comforting Meiko because she is sad she comments on how Sora is like a mom. To which she responds that Tai said that too and that they are both rude. But with a cute face. And also later in the movie Tai mentions that Sora's becoming more motherly since they have to watch their Digimon as if they were their kids.

Meiko: You are like a mom!
Sora: Hey! Taichi said that, too! Man, you two are so rude!

Sora: Yeah, we won't take our eyes off them when we're together and we'll get in touch immediately if something's wrong.
Mimi: It's like a kid going to preschool!
Joe: We're basically their parents now.
Tai: Sora's becoming more mothery.

Part 04 - Loss

I was going to write about how the writers didn't know if they should put Sora more with Tai or more with Matt so all the scenes are about all three of them. But I kinda like this trio relationship. It's not really about Taiora evidences anymore it's more like what kind of relationship they have.

Sora was really upset because she has troubles with reconnecting with Biyomon while others get along well with their partners. Tai and Matt realize something is wrong and try to talk with Sora who only becomes angry since they are both so clueless and can't read the situation. Sora is sad since she always thinks about others and she feels like no one wants to know how she feels and how she is to which Tai responds that's how Sora really is. She helps others but she never talks about her problems and she solves everything by herself. They are interrupted by Machinedramon and it's so cute how both Tai and Matt try to protect Sora while they are lying on the ground. Later in the movie both Tai and Matt apologize to her for being so clueless.

Matt: What is bothering you?
Sora: Why does it matter?
Tai: Cmon, what's wrong?
Sora: Stupid.

Tai: Hey, did I do something wrong?
Matt: That never changes with you. Can't you read the situation?
Tai: I don't know! Do you know what to do in times like this?
Matt: Should we ask Takeru?
Sora: I can hear you.
Tai: Hey, cheer up ...
Sora: What do you mean? You don't even know why I'm upset.
Matt: Why are you upset?
Sora: I don't know myself.
Matt and Tai: What a pain.
Sora: Well sorry, I'm a big pain!
Tai: Hey, chill out!
Sora: You two sure can't read the situation! You guys have bad timing and always fight! Everyone only thinks about themselves! They've never even thought of what I think ... or how I feel. No one ... does.
Tai: I could never understand how you feel, Sora. You're always in people's business, but you solve your own problems and never talk about it. Well, maybe that's the good part about you though.

Tai: Uh, well ... sorry about earlier.
Sora: Ohh. That's all right now.
Tai: All right?
Matt: It can't be all right.
Sora: It's okay!
Tai and Matt: Huhh?
Sora: Stupid.

It's so funny to watch these scenes because neither one of them know how to talk to Sora. But hey, together they can do it.

Part 06 - Future

At first, I was a little bit confused how no one is reacting to Tai's death (if you don't count Kari who was clearly in a shock and very sad) since they have known each other for so long and were best friends. But later when Sora and Matt were alone for a second Sora tells him to go save Tai and that everything feels so unreal. She asks him with a tear in her eyes if Tai is okay and alive.

Sora: Hey Yamato ... Can I just get something off my chest?
Matt: Sure.
Sora: Taichi's okay, right? Taichi wouldn't die, would he? Sorry.
Matt: You okay?
Sora: Thanks.
