Too much Taiora?
Last week I was going through the fourth movie again. Do you remember the pictures at the end of the movie? Sora's holding Tai's and Matt's hand and both of them were yawning. And the last picture where everyone was around (or on top of) the old train (the one who brings them back to the real world in the first season).
I really love the picture because Tai and Sora were sitting on the top of the train together while Matt was standing in front of it. It's really a cute picture because Tai and Sora are on the train alone with their Digimon. Kari is the closest to them but she's sitting in the back on the train together with Mimi who's standing.
Later that night I was checking Digimon music and I found a really interesting image. It's a CD background cover from Ai Maeda - My light (that's a CD with a few Digimon songs). What was actually interesting is this picture. If you look at the picture you'll see that it's the same picture I was talking about a few seconds before. From the 4th movie, when the DigiDestined were around the old train. But is the picture really the same? No, it's not. Everything is the same just Tai and Sora aren't (and Kari).
Can you see it now? They decided to change Sora's and Kari's positions. They just switched Sora with Kari. If you look at everyone else you'll see that they are almost the same ... they even have almost the same pose as in the 4th movie picture (they aren't the same, but they didn't switch the position of anyone else - at least not that noticeably as they did with Sora and Kari). When I saw that I was thinking why did they do something like that? Because Sora and Matt were already canon at that time and they didn't want to give us (Taiora fans) any hope or did they think that it would be too much of a Taiora if they would let Sora next to Tai. I really have no idea why would someone make such a big deal of it?
I'm still really surprised by it and to think that they needed to do a new picture because they apparently didn't want to use the same picture as in the movie. That's really interesting don't you think? Maybe there really was too much of a Taiora and they just wanted to change that. Or maybe it's like I already said in "Before and After Kari". She "destroyed" Taiora again. If you know anything else about it ... tell me! Because I'm really curious!
I was also trying to find out who drew the picture on the backside of AiM CD. Unfortunately, I didn't find the answer I was looking for. If you know anything, please let me know! So that I can compare the artists/pictures from the forth movie and from the CD - I doubt it's the same, because if you look at both pictures you'll see that they aren't so alike (the drawing styles - the CD style has more details in it).
