Taiora Among Voice Actors
I read a few interviews with Digimon voice actors and in a few of them we can see some of the voice actors preferred Taiora over Sorato. Some of them even though the two of them would end up together and were shocked (like us) when they saw the ending. I also tried to find some interviews from 02 DigiDestined's voice actors to see what they think about Daikari but this theme never came up.VOICE ACTORS ABOUT THEIR CHARACTER
Yuko Mizutani (Japanese Sora): She looks like a cute, young girl on the outside,
but her sense of responsibility is so strong that she acts like a mother.
Whenever she's among friends, she think that she has to be the one with her
act together.*
Yuko Mizutani about Biyomon: Piyomon is a cute character, but Atori-chan (Biyomon's voice actress) was a lot like a mother.
Even though she was younger than me, she had a huge capacity for patience.
I felt that she was really suited as Sora's partner.
Colleen O'Shaughnessey (English Sora): I liked her spunkiness and her humor.
I think I always bring a little of myself to every role I play.
For Sora, I think I brought my sarcasm and a little bit of smart-alec.
Whenever people have asked me to do her voice, I always feel a little funny,
because she's very much my natural speaking voice, just pitched a little higher.

Toshiko Fujita (Japanese Tai): I saw him as a relatively energetic and normal boy that you can find anywhere.
One that cares for his younger sister and is perhaps a bit clumsy or lacking,
but full of passion. That's why I didn't have any trouble getting into character.
Maybe it's because the movie preceded the TV series, because I could jump in rather
naturally.
Toshiko Fujita about Agumon: To tell you the truth, when I first saw Agumon, I also thought,
"What, wait, he isn't cute at all!" (laughs) I grew to like him as I kept watching him,
but Koromon will always be cute, so I suppose I like Koromon the best.
There's also his last stage, WarGreymon, I like him.
VOICE ACTORS ABOUT TAIORA
Yuko Mizutani (Japanese Sora): Whenever she's among friends, she think that she has to be the one with
her act together.* It's only Taichi who she quarrels with on an equal footing,
and with who she acts more like her age.
Ai Maeda (Japanese Mimi): I was so sure she'd be with Taichi in the end ...
I loved the ending in the movie, when she put on the hairpin that he'd given her.

Mayumi Yamaguchi (Japanese Gabumon): Honestly, Sora! If you'd spent just a few minutes to ask
[Gabumon] for advice, I would have said, "Sora, don't do this to yourself.
It's Taichi you should go for."
Yuuto Kazama (Japanese Matt): What I kept thinking most was,
if it was such a good idea to have shown so much of the future,
and all the way up to the part where he'd married to Sora.
Colleen O'Shaughnessey (English Sora): I agree that there was a romantic interest
in Tai and I was surprised that she wound up dating Matt.
Maybe she was trying to make Tai jealous. I guess you'd have to consult the
writers on that one. It's a pretty typical scenario, though.
So many shows make you wait for the romantic payoff you're hoping for.
Sexual tension makes things interesting.
