Prologue: The City of Tokyo

Date: Friday, July 5th, 2030
Time: 1:00 PM
Place: Tokyo, Japan

Tokyo. It is one of the largest cities of the world. It is home to various technological companies that make video games, TV's and cell phones. It is also a place where the bullet train is one major stop. It is also the place where many Japanese people reside. It is also a dream getaway for any Westerner. But... someone is not exactly enjoying her vacation.
Her name is Kaori Sakumai Gonzalez. She bashed out of a helicopter flying in the sky above Tokyo. She is hanging on with her small fists. She said, ''Does everyone treat me like this just because I'm being nice?'' She thought as the wind blew her night hair, ''Something's wrong here... and I don't like it.''
But, how did she get into this mess? If time is turned back a little, the solution will be discovered on how Kaori became mistaken for a criminal. Here is how it all began.

Chapter 01: Assault on Prison Island

Time: 11:30 AM
Place: Prison Island (25 km off the coast of Tokyo)

''INTRUDER ALERT! INTRUDER ALERT!'' a voice box cried out, warning the soldiers and authorized personnel of Prison Island. ''Prepare sequence for final defence mode! This is not a drill! I repeat... THIS IS NOT A DRILL!''
''Destroy the intruder at all costs!'' That was the last thing it said until... BOOM! It was destroyed by an electric attack.
Someone said, ''That voice box is getting annoying already!''
A large uniformed man approached a large door. Just before he was about to open it, someone cried ''FREEZE! Stop where you are and surrender immediately!''
He did stop. But, the man said, ''You have no idea who you are dealing with, are you?''
He turned around to face soldiers and their machine counterparts, ''I am Bison, the leader of the greatest crime organization known to man, Shadaloo!''
Just then, someone cried, ''Excuse me... Hi.''
Everyone was a bit embarrassed. Bison looked at the little machine. The motor-headed fat gadget said, ''Hi. I'm Omochao. And I'm here to help.''
Bison kicked it away! It cried ''Ow! That hurt!''
''No one interrupts me and gets away with it!'' Bison cries, ''Now... where was I? Oh yes...''
''I will show you my true power!'' He charged up like a battery. Electrical sparks filled up his body. His eyes turned hellish red. The robots were shocked, but they were not completed destroyed! The soldiers and the robots stood their ground until... BOOM!!!
He approached a room with a metal coffin. Bison looked around and said to himself, ''Very interesting. I'm sure a colleague of mine has created something like this. But, for what purpose?''
He then sees the metallic coffin and said, ''What kind of body lies in this coffin? It's high time I take a look and hopefully it's something I can dominate the world with!''
He read the instructions on the computer. ''Insert Chaos Emerald.'' He did so. ''Type in password... L-U-I-S.'' He typed the password and soon the coffin rose up to the height of a house's roof.
Bison was extremely anxious. The metallic coffin began to open. His face turned from anxious to shock! A young girl rose from the coffin bearing a red kanji on her back.

'Ten' means 'heaven'

''What is this?!'' Bison cried, ''Kaori?!''
Just then, a giant robot blasted the wall and confronted Bison. ''GIVE UP, INTRUDER! THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN ESCAPE!'' The pilot inside the machine cried Bison seemed trapped. He didn't know what to do. He was about to toss a ball of energy at the machine until... the machine took a sharp flame hit in the legs! ''Something just hit me!'' the pilot cried.
The robot targeted the young girl. ''Oh boy. This is B-3x Hot Shot speaking! The creature has been released! Over!''
Then, he focussed on the young woman. ''So... you think you're a hotshot, huh?''
''OK. Take this!'' He pushed a button. Missiles fired from the robot. But, they all missed! For some reason, the missiles cannot touch the young woman. She teleported through thin air! ''Damn! She's too fast! Where did she go?!''
The pilot cried, ''This is B-3x Hot Shot responding! We need backup!''
The young girl jumped up, forming a ball of energy in her fists. This ball of energy absorbed flames from her body. She cried out, ''Tenma... Gou Zankuu!!!''
The ball of energy was released, spewing it right at the robot! It hit the robot... and destroyed it! The young girl landed on her feet.
''Wow...'' Bison said, ''Even though you're not Kaori, my most hated rival, you seem more powerful than even I imagined!''
''So... you must be the mighty weapon that the world fears.'' He continues,
''I am free.'' The young girl said, ''I will take revenge on those who tried to eliminate me!''
She turned to Bison, ''Since you've set me free, I will grant you one wish.''
''A wish?'' Bison said, ''What does that supposed to mean?!''
''First, bring me more Chaos Emeralds.'' The young girl continued to speak, ''Then, meet me in the central control room at the Space Colony ARK.''
Bison was surprised. He thought, ''But... how did she know

Chapter 02: City Escape

Time: 1:00 PM
Place: Tokyo, Japan

In the skies of the city of Tokyo, a helicopter was flying by. The pilot radioed in, saying ''Sigma Alpha 2-? reporting to Tower. We have captured the girl... Over.''
Kaori was handcuffed. She did not mope though. She found a piece of shrapnel and played with the handcuffs until... CLICK! She was free!''Awesome!'' she thought, ''I'm free and nobody even saw me! I'm going to leave now.''
''But, first...'' she thought as she cracked her knuckles. ''It's time I beat up these guys.''
She crept up to a soldier and... POW! She kneed her enemy and tossed his body to the floor. The soldiers were aware of their comrade's hit and tried to attack and restrain Kaori. ''What are you doing?!'' they clamoured, ''Somebody stop this girl!''
She kicked and punched all the soldiers. They pretty much fainted. Just then, one was coming up behind her. She reacted quickly and kicked him to the door, which flew open and took the soldier with the door to the sky. She jumped out and clutched on a wing. ''Don't let her get away!!!'' the soldiers cried, ''Fire at her with everything you got!''
''Oh boy...'' she thought as she climbed up.
''FIRE AWAY!''
Lots of garbage came out of the door. Everything from forks to dice to books was thrown to Kaori. She dodged them with ease.
''Come on! Is that all you've got?!'' Kaori cried, shaking her finger at her foes.
POW! Something smashed her face and tipped to her fall! ''Not my air board!'' someone cried
''She's getting away!!!'' the soldiers cried
She managed to recover. She also took a look at the board. It had a slick blue design with lightning bolts and flames, and it also had a dragon on it. She stood up and placed the board on her feet. She resembles an air boarder when she did this.
She flew down crying, ''Yeeehaaa!''

Kaori landed on the streets of Tokyo. She put on her iPod. She tuned in to her song and sang away. As she did, she thought, ''Wow. I'm an awesome singer. I should praise my friend later.''
She continued to board on the streets of Tokyo. Just then, she noticed a truck. It was speeding up to her! ''TRUCK!!!'' she screams
She tried to speed up, but it was no good. The truck bounced on the board which resulted in Kaori's fall. She managed to recover and ran away from the truck's warpath.
''Wow. This guy is not kidding!'' She cried, ''I should escape as soon as possible!''
Meanwhile, a couple of blocks away, a young fisherman was looking for his pelican companion. ''Hey, Peli! Where are you?'' he cried out
He found his pet pelican in the park nearby. He said, ''It's OK, boy. I'm here. It's all right.''
His pet flew away. The fisherman turned around. What he saw was not a pretty sight. Kaori ran past the fisherman. She quickly said, ''Hi, Kouji! Bye, Kouji!''
Kouji saw the truck and ran as fast as he could! Kaori, meanwhile, blazed through city streets like fire. Then... she saw a dead end. ''Oh, man!''
Then, she turned around. ''This ends now! Come at me, truck!''
She waited... until the truck came close to her. Then, she jumped up. She extended her leg while keeping another straight down like a drill. She kicked the window so hard that it broke. As a result, the truck smashed into the dead end.
''Hmph!'' Kaori said as she landed. ''Too easy for me.''
''There she is!'' Someone cried, ''After her!''
''Oh, man!'' she cried, ''Spoke too soon.''
She ran off as fast as she could. ''This is perfect! A summer vacation spent in vain!'' she thought, ''I better clear my name as soon as possible. But, first I got to hide somewhere.''
Then, she ran past a jewellery store. ''I'm stopping here first.''
She hid somewhere inside. The soldiers ran past the store. She came out and looked for something cool. Then, she noticed a 14-karat garnet kanji bracelet. ''Wow. I love this bracelet!'' Kaori thought, ''Jin would love to see me in these.''
She picked it up, took it to the cashier and looked through her pockets in her qipao outfit for her wallet. Just then, she remembered. ''Oh no!'' she cried, ''I totally forgot my wallet!''
''No worries.'' Someone said, ''We'll pay for you.''
She turned around to find two grown-ups. Kaori smiled because she recognized them both. ''Tai Kamiya! Sora Takenouchi!'' She easily recognized Tai's ''fiery'' brown hair and Sora's cool red tomboy-like hair.
''Pleasure to meet you.'' Sora stated,
''The pleasure is all mine!'' Kaori cried, and shook both their hands.
''How are things in the Digital World?'' Kaori asked,
''Oh, they're fine.'' Tai replied, ''It seems the Digital World is at peace. I see you have a problem in your hands.''
''Indeed.'' Kaori said, ''I'm being chased by soldiers and it's something I did not even do! In fact, I don't even know what I did to cause this mess!''
''You got us.'' Sora stated, ''I can't even think why you have been framed.''
''Excuse me.'' The cashier said, ''I need money here.''
''Oh yeah!'' Tai cried, and he and Sora paid for Kaori's item.
The cashier got the money and Kaori picked up her new bracelet. She put the bracelet on her wrist. ''Wow.'' They both said, ''It actually looks good on you!''
''Thank you.'' Kaori said, ''Listen. I got to run. As I told you, there are soldiers coming after me.''
''Don't worry.'' Tai said, ''Stay at our place. We'll hide you until it is safe.''
''Oh, thank you!'' She gave them both a hug. ''I'll leave you both a gift in return. I promise!''

Chapter 03: A Master Argument

Time: 7:00 PM
Place: Sapporo, Japan

In an open field in Sapporo, two fighters looked at each other eye-to-eye. One of them is a brown-haired young man. He is wearing a blazing red karate gi. The other fighter is a female blonde assassin/jewel thief. She is in pure black with red combat boots. They stared each other down for a pretty long time. Also, with them was a giant green diamond. It seemed like hours that nothing happened. Until finally...
''WHY DON'T YOU JUST LEAVE!?!'' they both cried
''What are you even doing here anyway?!'' The karate kid replied,''Clearly, it's my emerald! So, you leave it AND me alone!''
''Why do you care so much about the emerald?'' the female assassin asked, ''Just leave me the emerald, and I will spare you a painful death.''
''No way! What are you talking about?!'' The boy hollered back, ''That emerald is MINE! You got it?''
Miles away, Bison approached them by air. ''Hmm... perfect timing! Those two have no idea what I will attempt to do.''
''It's plain useless to fight like this.'' The femme fatale said, ''Give me the emerald and I will stop arguing and leave.''
'No...'' The boy said,
They kept staring each other. Little did they know that the giant emerald lifted high in the sky. They turned around and looked at their rivals' newspaper article.
One said that the karate boy named Jin saved a little Chao from mortal danger in Tokyo. ''I don't know...'' the female assassin thought
Jin looked at the woman's article. It said that Cammy (who is her name) managed to retrieve the treasure from robbers in Kyoto. ''Should I?'' he thought, ''I have a girlfriend...'' At that time, he was thinking of Kaori and what should she say if he broke her heart for the female agent. He knew better.
They both turn around. ''Hey, listen...'' Jin began
''Umm...'' Cammy stammered, until...
They both found the emerald gone! ''WHAT?!'' Jin cried, ''What kind of trick are you trying to pull on me?!''
''Oh! Now you blame me for this robbery!'' Cammy replied,
Then, laughter filled the air. ''That laugh...'' Jin cried
''How foolish of you, Jin!'' Bison cried, levitating the emerald in the sky. ''You were foolish not to notice the emerald disappear before your eyes! Now... it is mine!''
''That Master Emerald is mine, Bison!'' Jin cried, ''You are not taking it anywhere!''
''Oh...'' Cammy said, ''So... that's the Master Emerald.''
''Exactly.'' Bison replied, ''This jewel has the power to neutralize the power of the Chaos Emeralds. This I can certainly use to find the other Emeralds! I'm sorry to drop in uninvited, but I have other plans. I'm heading back to base! Farewell!''
''Not if I can help it!'' Jin cried. He lowered his body, raised his fist in the air and made a spinning jump to the sky. His burning fist connected with the Master Emerald... and smashed it into pieces!
''You fool!'' Bison cried as he took some of the damage,
Cammy cried, ''No! My plans are ruined!''
''I'll be back...'' Bison cried as he retreated, ''And this time, I will destroy you!''
''Yeah!'' Jin cried, ''And you tell your Shadowlaw soldiers I don't care!''
Then, he turned around. ''Huh? Now, where did that girl go?''
He turned around once more... only to be hit by an uppercut kick from Cammy! He flew right to the floor. ''What was that for?!'' she cried, ''What did you DO to MY emerald?!''
''You don't understand!'' Jin cried, ''I broke the emerald to prevent it from being stolen by Bison. Now that it is in pieces, I can restore it.''
He got up and continued, ''Oh... and one more thing. It's NOT your emerald. It belonged to my tribe from way back. I could go into details, but I cannot. So, if you stop assuming it's yours, I will greatly appreciate it!''
He started to walk out. ''And where do YOU think you're going?'' Cammy asked, impolitely
''What do you think?'' Jin replied, also impolitely ''I'm going after the Master Emerald pieces!''
Cammy suddenly hatched a plan. ''If I let karate boy do all the work, then I will steal the emerald and he will not take notice until it is too late!''
Then, she yelled out, ''You know what? I'm going too!'' And she jumped away.
''Hey! Where are you...'' Jin cried,''Oh well... too late. I got a lot of work to do.''
And they both flew separate ways. It quickly became night time as they departed.

Chapter 04: Rage of a Mother

Time: 10:00 PM
Place: Tokyo, Japan

That night, Tai and Sora came home. ''Kaori! We're home!'' Tai cried,
''Kaori?'' Sora said. It seems that she disappeared.
''Sora!'' Tai cried, ''I found a note!''
Sora ran to the guest bedroom. She found a couple of items. There was a copy of a video game called ''Sonic Adventure 2'' for the Sega Dreamcast and another of ''Sonic Adventure 2: Battle'' for the Nintendo GameCube. Beside them was that note Tai found. They both read...

Dear Tai Kamiya and Sora Takenouchi,
Thanks for your hospitality in my time of need. As promised, I left you both a copy of a somewhat similar game for two different consoles: ''Sonic Adventure 2'' for the Sega Dreamcast and ''Sonic Adventure 2: Battle'' for the Nintendo GameCube. That is my gift to you. I'm sorry I could not stay long. I still have a mission to accomplish. I'm going out to clear my name and find the person responsible for this disaster and bring him or her to justice. But, if I need anything, I will let you know. Say hi to Agumon and Biyomon for me, OK?

Meanwhile, Kaori wandered the streets of Tokyo searching for answers to her mystifying ambiguity of her mistaken criminal activity. Just then, she heard, ''There she is! Get her!''
''Oh great!'' Kaori cried, ''Don't they just give up?!''
And she ran off. ''Listen up, men!'' The soldiers' sergeant cried, ''Whoever captures the girl first gets a free trip to Toronto!''
''Move it, punk!'' one soldier cried, ''I'm going to see the CN Tower first!''
''Where is Athena when I need her most?!'' Kaori thought,
Meanwhile, in a condominium in the suburbs of Tokyo, a young girl with black flowing hair and a headband was working on a machine whilst listening to the radio for many J-Pop tunes.''Hmm... only a few more screws and adjustments. I'm almost there.'' She said. Afterwards, she unveiled her new machine. ''I present to you... The HDV 9000! This digging walker is designed to blast powerful tunes and dig out Chaos Emeralds! I'm so excited! I can't wait to show it to Kaori!'' The machine itself is black, but it contained blue flames as decal. It also contained a flaming blue phoenix in the back of the machine. Just then, the radio crackled. ''We interrupt this program for a special news report. Radio Japan brings you the latest news and the top story is happening within the capital city of Tokyo. There is a robbery occurring in the Sakura Bank in the Ginza district. Astonishingly enough, the only thing that was stolen was a Chaos Emerald!''
''This is important.''The girl thought, and she walked to the radio.
Meanwhile, back in the apartment where Tai and Sora live, the two were having fun playing their separate consoles. It seems they simultaneously reached the second stage in the Hero Story. The radio in their apartment also turned on. But, they did not put much attention. They kept trying to best each other on the systems. After a short while, they finally tuned in to the radio. The news coverage kept going. ''We now take you live to Tokyo Bridge where witnesses claim to have seen the world's greatest heroine, Kaori Gonzalez!''
''KAORI GONZALEZ!!!'' They all cried out, including the girl who is miles away from Tai and Sora.

Meanwhile, on the Tokyo Bridge, a young woman resembling Kaori was holding a Chaos Emerald. She began to speak. ''Of all the confusion these humans have caused, no wonder why they are never perfect. It is because they do not learn from their mistakes.''
Then, she thought, ''Now I begin to understand why these humans need a better future...''
''Kaori Gonzalez!'' Someone from the nearby helicopter yelled on a megaphone. ''You are under arrest for the assault, battery and theft of the city of Tokyo! Drop the emerald and put your hands over your head!''
Unfortunately, the young woman did not comply. ''You leave us no choice!'' the speaker cried. ''Now, we will show no mercy!''
A machine gun fired from the helicopter. The sounds made the young woman remember something from way back...

The young woman was trapped in a tube. Another woman who wore the same clothes as the trapped woman was faced with heavy gunshots from enemy soldiers. She took many bullets to her chest. She fell to her death. The young woman in the tube cried, ''Tomoyo!!!''
The fallen body was laid to rest. ''No!!! Tomoyo!!!'' her friend cried,
''Abortion activated.'' A voice said
''FIRE!!!'' An old professor who is in chains cried

A bullet ricocheted off the Chaos Emerald and it fell down the bridge, bouncing on the beam. The young woman thought, ''What's going on?! Why am I feeling this way?!'' Then she remembers the ill-fated day.

''Members of the Space Colony ARK, welcome.'' A voice said in the P.A. ''You are currently on floor 10-E. We hope you have enjoyed your stay.''
Two people are running. They are women... somewhat identical women. One of them is wearing a red qipao. The other is in a blue qipao, but she also has pigtails. ''Where are we?'' One asked, ''Wait a second... Isn't this the area where Professor Gerald stated that it is off-limits to us?''
''Come on, Sakura!'' the other woman said, ''There is not much time! We got to leave this place!''
''But, Tomoyo!'' Sakura cried, ''Where is everyone else? I'm scared!''
Meanwhile, in another room, soldiers saw activity on the floor via an Automap. ''I found them! They are heading to the escape pod!'' one cried,
A squad was sent out to capture them. ''Don't let them get away!'' The squad leader cried, ''Those two must be captured and beaten!''
Ahead of them, Sakura and Tomoyo reached the emergency exit. ''It's all right, Sakura!'' she cried, ''We're going to make it!''
They both opened the door. ''Everything is going to be OK.'' Tomoyo continued
They heard footsteps. ''We better hurry!'' Sakura cried, and she started the countdown.
The P.A. said, ''Abortion sequence ready in one minute.''
''Ready, Tomoyo?'' Sakura cried,
Just then, the soldiers busted inside. ''There they are! Shoot them!''
''Oh no!'' They both cried.
''Leave them to me, Tomoyo.'' Sakura cried, ''Let me deal with these soldiers!''
Then, she felt something. It was an unpleasant feeling. Sakura was tossed into the escape pod! Tomoyo rushed to close the door of the escape pod!
''Tomoyo!'' Sakura cried, ''What are you doing?!''
''I'm sorry, Sakura.'' Tomoyo cried, ''You're the only one who can end the confusion the world has endured! Please give the people on Earth a second chance and make their lives happy again! Please say that you can do this...''
''I don't know...'' Sakura cried,
''Say you can do it!'' Tomoyo cried hard
''I... will.'' Sakura said slowly. ''I promise to make the world a better place.''
''Friends forever.'' Tomoyo told Sakura
Then, Tomoyo turned around. ''Stay away from my friend!'' she cried to the soldiers.
''No! Tomoyo!'' Sakura cried,
''Abortion sequence in 10 seconds.'' The P.A. stated
''No! Tomoyo!'' Sakura cried, ''Don't do this! Let me help you!''
''You've done enough.'' Tomoyo said. Her last words were...''You will always remain in my heart... I wish you well...'' ''FIRE!!!''The soldiers cried

On the bridge, a sergeant called his walkie-talkie. ''Sir! The Chaos Emerald has been retrieved. Our mission is complete. Over.'' He stated
''Roger that.'' The general on the other line said, ''No need to wait for further orders. Capture the girl and head back to base.''
''Copy that.'' The sergeant said, ''Over and out.''
''Soldiers!'' He then cried, ''Do whatever you can to capture the girl!''
One of the soldiers looked up the girl and said, ''Look at her standing there! What is she? A statue of sorts? I think she is stunned like someone stuck a taser up her butt!'' They all laughed. ''No!'' Another soldier cried, ''She is scared stiff!''
Then, they taunted her. ''What's the matter, sweetie? You want your precious emerald back?''
They were laughing at her at every whim. Then, she felt a rage in her body. The young woman's black qipao began to burn like the fires of Hell. The 'ten' kanji appeared on her back in burning red flame. She got into a horse stance, in an attempt to power up. She was covered in a flaming inferno. Then... she jumped up. She stretched out her left arm. The flames transferred from her body into a ball contained into her fist. She screamed, ''Tenma...''
''Oh God.'' The helicopter people cried,
''...Gou Zankuu!'' Her ball of flame shot out of her arm and... blasted the helicopter into small pieces, killing everyone inside.
''No way!'' The soldiers cried, ''She took out that chopper in one shot!''
The girl flew right into the beam and grinded down to the street level. The sergeant cried, ''Enemy approaching! Shoot her down!''
Then he said to himself, ''It will be a piece of cake. What can one girl do against 20 of us soldiers?''
Nothing was done. He cried, ''Shoot her! That's an order!''
Then, he looked around. All of his squad were killed by the girl's fists and feet. The girl looks at the sergeant. ''Call in reinforcements, now!'' he cried,
Immediately, guns were pointed at the young woman. Soldiers crowded her like a mob. Even missiles were pointed at her like a bull's-eye.

''So... You are willing to shoot me?''The girl said, ''OK. Go ahead. Try me. But... I have one thing to ask, and I will not repeat this again. Give up the emerald to me or you will face a far worse fate than death.'' ''What?'' The sergeant taunted, ''With all of us here? I don't think so! Why, you don't stand a chance against us!''
''You underestimate me.'' The girl continued, ''I'm disappointed. You leave me no choice.'' Then, she got into a horse stance.
Her raging flames appeared, containing her body. Her eyes were shut, and then... she opened them with rage. She screams, ''CHAOS...''

Chapter 05: Mother & Daughter Reunited?

Time: 12:00 AM

Miles away, Kaori stopped and saw a binding light. She covered her eyes. ''Wow...'' she thought, ''That explosion was caused by some kind of power. Who could be powerful enough to set off an explosion like that?''
''Freeze, girl!'' the soldiers cried, ''We're not done with you yet!''
''Oh yeah?!'' Kaori cried, and she did a back flip jump right on the soldiers' heads! For every bop, she screams ''I... don't... have... time... to... play... with... you... boys!''
''You know why?'' She continued, ''Because I feel REALLY good!''

Meanwhile, in a Shadowlaw base somewhere in Japan, a TV was going very static. ''I don't believe this!'' Bison cried out, ''I'm impressed by this girl's power! She destroyed much of Tokyo in one sitting. That camera did not last against her power, and it would have been my fault for not overlooking this. She did say something about the Space Colony ARK which was shut down 50 years ago. I think she is hatching a world domination-like plan. I like that.''
''Looks like I have NO time to waste.'' Bison continued, ''I must reach this space colony and conquer the world!''
Little does he know that Cammy penetrated the base and heard what Bison said...

Back in the city, there were many ambulances and police vehicles rolling by. Kaori kept running. She thought, ''This city has gone crazy! I have not been here a year and things are going nuts!''
''Hold it right there!'' someone cried.
Kaor's feet came to a screeching halt. She looked around... and then she looked up. A huge cyborg walker blocked her path. ''You are not going anywhere, little girl!'' the soldier inside cried
''You want a piece of me?!'' Kaori cried. Little did she know that she was locked on. ''Bring it on, metal punk!''
''Come on! I bet your missiles can't touch my beautiful figure!'' she continued to taunt
''How dare you, you little child!'' The soldier cried, ''EAT THIS!!!''
He fired missiles from every corner of the cyborg. Kaori evaded them like they were soccer players on defence. She somersaulted to evade a ground missile. While the missiles kept firing, the young woman keeps evading. ''Stop it!'' the soldier cried, ''You're moving around too much! You make it difficult for the both of us!''
Finally, Kaori jumped up and cupped her hands. Energy flowed around her and it became sucked into her fists. Lightning struck around her. She waited...
...and waited..
...until she cried, ''Shinkuu...''
''Oh no!'' the soldier cried,
''...Hadou-ken!'' The fireball was released and destroyed the giant mech into a million pieces!
She dropped to the ground and landed on her feet. ''All right!'' Kaori cried, ''That's done! How does it feel, huh?!''
A hand stuck out of the rubble, waving a white flag. She walks over, grabs the soldier and pulls him in front of her. She yells, ''What did I do?! I know I did not steal a Chaos Emerald! I know I did not destroy robots! And I certainly know that I DID NOT hurt innocent people! That is SO... not me, so don't come up to me and take me for a criminal! I barely enjoyed my vacation from university and you take me for a convict?!''
Then, she heard slow clapping. ''Nice job. For someone who tries to mimic me.''
Then, Kaori turns around. She sees a figure closely resembling her sitting on a park bench. The woman stands up. ''Allow me to introduce myself.'' She began, ''My name is Sakura Kinomoto-Gonzalez. I am the ultimate life form and I am destined to exterminate the Earth.''
Then, the soldier looked at them both. ''WHAT?!'' he cried, ''Am I seeing double here?!''
Then, he tossed a grenade at Sakura. ''Take this!'' he cried,
Sakura parried the grenade for extra mileage and... it exploded! ''Wow!'' Kaori cried, ''She didn't see it and she parried it anyway!''
''You see?'' Sakura said, ''You can't compare with me. I could beat anyone with my hands tied behind my back.''
''Hey!'' Kaori cried, ''You take that back! You realize that you haven't seen what I can do! You don't even know me! Why, I am...''
''Kaori Sakumai Gonzalez?'' Sakura finished
Kaori felt embarrassed... and a little scared. ''Gonzalez? Did you say my last name?'' She asked
She did some thinking. ''Come on, Kaori. I know who are and what you do. I also know that your planet will be no more very soon.''
''What proof do you have that can end the world?'' Kaori asked, still thinking.
''Perhaps this can interest you.'' Sakura said, and she took out a jewel.
''What?!'' Kaori cried at what she saw, ''A Chaos Emerald?!''
''You realize what can happen if I have all 7 Emeralds.'' Sakura continued, ''I have a little task for you. Spread the word that the Earth will be destroyed in 48 hours, OK?'' ''You know better!'' Kaori cried, ''I don't believe you at all, but if what you say is true... then I challenge you to a fight!''
''You fool.'' Sakura said, ''If it's a fight you want... then it is a fight you get. Let's see if you're worthy of being a saviour for Earth.''
''Bring it on!'' Kaori cried, and they both prepared for a fight.

Chapter 06: A Short Duel

Time: 2:00 AM
Place: Hiroshima, Japan

In the darkness in the suburbs of Hiroshima, there lies a hill region that is also a memorial of the many Japanese who died in the atomic blast back in World War II. A young man looks on the horizon. Thinking of what he did back when he met Cammy, Jin took the time to reflect his actions and what he must do. He feels the wind blowing by. While he was focused, he also took the time to remember those who died in the atomic explosion.
Little did Jin know that it was also a haunted ground with ghosts running amok and spirits being awake at night. ''Oh God!'' he thought to himself, ''Kaori would hate to see me like this. I'm hungry, cold and... so damn afraid!''

Miles away back in Tokyo, Kaori and Sakura attacked each other with feet and fists. The two fighters are like scorpions, clawing at each other and evading each other with eternal swiftness. Every punch was blocked, countered and evaded. Every kick was pretty much the same.
After a short while, the two fighters were tired like two cars running out of fuel. Then, one of the fighters began to speak.
Kaori said, ''Wow... You fight like my mother. I'm rather impressed.''
Then, she concluded something. A revelation that Kaori overlooked and that she never thought about until now. ''Wait a minute... You ARE my mother! I thought you died!''
''I don't have time to accept your revelation, Kaori!'' Sakura cried, ''I have more important matters to attend to.''
''Wait!'' Kaori cried, ''That was you! You stole a Chaos Emerald! You destroyed a city area! You killed innocent people! Why are you doing this?!''
''Why do I have to tell you everything?!'' Sakura cried, ''I obviously do not have to explain everything to you!''
Kaori was mad and she screamed, ''ENOUGH!!! YOU ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE UNTIL YOU EXPLAIN EVERYTHING TO ME AND ACCEPT THE FACT THAT YOU'RE MY MOTHER!!!''
After several seconds, she cries, ''Fine! Have it your way!'' Kaori rushes after Sakura!
Sakura pulls out the Chaos Emerald. Kaori quickly sees it. Then, Sakura drops into a horse stance. Flames covered her body like someone was on fire. Sakura cries, ''Chaos... Control!!!''
Flames blew in Kaori's direction, but she was not burned! Unfortunately, Sakura disappeared from Kaori's sights. She looks around, thinking ''Where did she go? I know she used a Chaos Emerald to teleport somewhere else. I still can't believe that I saw my mom... and for so long...''
''Oh, Kaori!'' someone cried, ''Are you looking for me?''
Kaori looks up at a building. Sakura looks down on her! ''What's wrong with you?'' she cries, ''Gee, Kaori. You are slower than I thought.''
''No way...'' Kaori was astonished.
''Listen up, Kaori!'' Sakura continues, ''You will not get anywhere with you being weak. You still realize that you have two days left on this planet. I will now take my leave.'' ''Farewell.'' She says before she disappears in hellfire.
Kaori looks up at the moon and thinks ''Oh my God. Why is my mother doing this? I know I never did whatever I cited. There must be a reason for this chaos.''
''FREEZE, KAORI GONZALEZ!'' someone cried,
She looks around. Soldiers surrounded her with guns pointed at her. She was no match for them this time. ''Oh no!'' Kaori silently said, ''I can't believe this. I guess I have no choice but to surrender.''

Back in the condominium, the red-uniformed girl still listened to the radio. ''After several hours of cat and mouse and exceptional teamwork of Tokyo Police, Kaori Gonzalez has finally been detained.'' The radio voice continued, ''It is confirmed by the Emperor of Japan that she will be brought into custody and be sent to Prison Island. Further charges may be impending upon further investigation.''
''I don't believe this...'' the girl cried, ''How can Kaori do this? I don't believe that she did ANY of this! There's no way I'm accepting this fact unless I know the truth!'' She turns around and looks at the new machine. ''HDV 9000, you're going to make some changes.'' She says
So, she decided to add guns, missiles and cannons to her already created machine. She also put a transforming mechanism that will change it into a fighter jet and back. She also put a gold plate on the machine. It said ''Athena Asamiya.''

In the apartment complex, Tai and Sora, after hearing the news, decided to assist Kaori in her time of need... again. They called out their Digimon into the real world. Two beams of light jumped from their home computer and onto the floor. Their forms slowly took shape.
The yellow creature looks up and sees his partner. The pink bird-like creature with a leg ring looks up and sees her master. They both smiled.
One began to speak. ''Tai!'' the yellow monster cried,
''Agumon!'' Tai cried, ''How are you doing?''
''I'm fine, Tai!'' Agumon replied, ''What's going on? Why do you need us?''
''A friend of ours is in trouble.'' Sora answers, ''We'll tell you along the way.''
''You can count on us.'' The pink bird replies, whose name is Biyomon. ''We're always there to help you, but to help someone you know is also like helping one of you guys!''
''We have no time to waste!'' Tai cries, ''We leave now!''

Chapter 07: Ghosts of Hiroshima

Time: 5:00 AM
Place: Hiroshima, Japan

In the early morning light on the memorial hilltop of Hiroshima, Jin is still looking for the piece of the Master Emerald. He was digging, but he was not looking in graves. He was outside of the cemetery when he began to dig. ''Oh no!'' he cried, ''It's not here!''
Then, he thought, ''No way! I can't stop now! I have got to keep going! Knowing myself, I never give up my mission!''
''I have got to stay focused.'' He continued to think.
He sat down and started meditating. Energy flowed from around him and turned green. He was surrounded with it as he continued meditating. He then began to think, ''Spirits of the Master Emerald, guide me through this necropolis and show me a sign of where am I going now.'' The energy was channelled from within his body. Then... it hit him! ''Found it!'' he cried out loud

''It's somewhere high in one of the monument towers bordering this memorial ground! I can feel it!'' he continues
Then, he acknowledges his spiritual guide. ''Thank you. I owe you one.''
He then rushes to the monument that he felt the power of the Master Emerald from. Little does he know that someone was watching his every move. ''Well... well... if it isn't that hot-headed fighter, Jin Tomoryuzai Daidouji!'' he said
He cocks his gun. ''Heh... heh... We'll see who reaches the emerald first.''
Jin finally reached the high tower. He began to climb right to the top. As he climbed, he began to say some random sentences. ''Gee. I know I practice karate a lot,'' he started, ''but this is ridiculous, climbing at a 45-degree angle! When this is over, I'm going to ask Kaori to have a nice hot bath with me.''
''Almost there...'' he said as his fists reached the top of the monument. He reached up to get his body up until... a gun was pointed at him. ''Going somewhere?'' someone said,
Jin looked up at his potential assailant. He was nothing more than a purple weasel with a cowboy hat. ''What the...''Jin cried, ''Nack the Weasel?!''
''What the hell are you doing here?!''
''Silence, fool'' Nack cries, ''That name still brings fear to your eyes! The real name is Fang the Hotshot! Get it right next time!''
Fang still had the gun pointed at Jin as he continued to speak, ''Word on the street that the Master Emerald is out. Now, tell me where this 'Master Emerald' is and I'll promise you a safer grave, Jin.''
''Why the hell is he here?!'' Jin thought, ''I have no time for this fool!''
''Come on, Jin!'' Fang cried out, ''I don't have all day! My patience is wearing thin!''
Jin thought of something, and then he said, ''Fine. I'll tell you. But... only if you beg.''
''Are you playing games with me?!'' Fang cried, ''I'll make you pay for your childish behaviour!''
He shoots his weapon... but he missed! Fang thought, ''Where did he go?! Was he that dumb to run off like that?''
''Boo.'' Someone said from behind Fang. It was Jin!
''What?!'' Fang cried, and he lost his footing. He screamed as he fell to the bottomless pit ''You'll regret this, you cheater!!!''
''Yeah, right!''Jin cried, ''You said that six times, Nack! And what did you do?! Nothing!''
''Hmph!'' Jin said to himself, ''What an idiot.''
Then, he said, ''That's done. I have a mission to accomplish.''
Jin looked around the tower. There was a dead tree, a few tombstones and a broken fence. He thought to himself, ''If I was a broken piece of the Master Emerald, where would I be?''
''Where would I hide?'' Jin continued to think as he walked a few metres. He did not see where was going... and he tripped over a rock. He fell on his face.
''OW!'' he cried, ''That hurt!''
He looked ahead. He found a ball. But, it is stationary and it is decorated with a star.''Looks interesting. I'm going to check it out.'' Jin thought
He rocked the ball slightly. Jin heard a noise. ''What's going on?!'' he cried
He looked around. He found a rocket. ''Cool. Time to fly up!'' he thought
Jin took a hold of the handle and... the rocket blasted upwards! ''Sweet!'' he thought, ''This is much better than climbing 45 degrees!''
Then, he felt something. ''Something is high above.''
He looks around. ''A Ghost Train?!'' he cries, ''Why is there a ghost train in a burial ground?''
Then, he sees something in the coal car. ''And there's a piece of the Master Emerald!'' he cries as he took notice of a green jewel stuck in the coal pile
''Excellent!'' Jin said, ''It's time I got off this ride.'' And he jumped off the rocket and landed on the caboose.
''Almost there...'' he said silently, but just then, something made the entire train bounced and the Master Emerald piece flew off the train! ''No!'' Jin cried and he jumped off the train.
Jin landed on another burial ground within the memorial park. ''Oh great!'' he said, ''I can't believe this! How evasive can that stone be?''
Then, he finally sees the stone and walks to it. ''It's OK.'' He said, ''I'm here. There's nothing that can come between us.''
Just then, a ghost pops out! Jin screamed his butt off! ''God! That scared me good!'' Jin cried as the ghost was laughing, ''I'm coming after you, you freaking ghost!''
The ghost yelped and ran off with the Master Emerald piece. ''Come back here with my emerald!'' Jin yells as he chased the ghost down.
Then, he bumped into something. ''Ow!'' Jin cries, ''What the hell is this thing that I ran into?! In fact, why do I keep bumping into stuff?''
Then, he looks up. That white obstacle that hit Jin was a giant ghost! Jin was a little scared, but... he smiled. He jumped up with his fist in the air. He smacked the ghost! The giant ghost was angrier at Jin, but Jin was still smiling. He gestured to the ghost's behind. It was on fire! The ghost looked behind and he yelped away!
The little ghost dropped the emerald piece. ''That's what a little fire can do to you.'' Jin said
Then, he picks up the emerald piece. ''Yeah!'' He cried, ''I did it! I picked up my first piece!''
Then, Jin asked himself, ''Where should I go? Possibly... Wild Canyon in Sapporo? Sure.''
Then, Jin climbed down the monument and headed north to Sapporo. He knows that he did an excellent job of finding the first piece of the Master Emerald. It will not be long before Angel Island is restored to its rightful place.
Little does he know that Fang is still alive and he did not see him. He said, ''Jin is mine! He will not live for so long. It will be payback soon enough...'

Chapter 08: A Master Plan

Time: 12:00 PM
Place: Prison Island

In the confines of Prison Island, Kaori is still held captive in a holding cell. A secret military force codenamed G.U.N. owns the facility and nobody has escaped from their cells before. She sat there looking very lonely. She said to herself, ''I hate being in prison. I did not do anything, and they arrest me anyway!''
''How much longer can this go on?'' She looks up to the sky.

Above the sky and over the clouds, there is a supremely large area where wastage and mass do not exist. It is also an area where there is infinite distance and the slow passing of time. It is also an area where there are many stars and many planets, some of which may be inhabitable. This place is known as space.
The beautiful planet of Earth holds many elements. They include the air that is breathable, water that is drinkable and many other resources fit for use. Humans have always updated their resources and they never downgrade to their lower levels. They make a lot but they also waste materials as well.
New technology was produced each year and inheritance of said new technology is extraordinary. For four generations, the Robotnik family has been faithful to the sciences. The Space Colony codenamed the 'ARK' was built to promise many benefits to mankind.
That legacy is about to change...

Place: Space Colony ARK Unknown Room

A door opens. A giant uniformed man walks in. He sees a young woman with the 'ten' kanji burning on her back.
The woman turns around. ''Are you OK, Bison?'' she began, ''Having a little trouble finding your way around this place? It seemed like it took forever for you to get here.''
''Enough talk!'' Bison cried, ''I have no time to fool around! No matter where I am, time always flies and I will not waste any second to get what I want! Now, who are you?! What is your purpose of serving me as your master?!''
''My name is Sakura Kinomoto-Gonzalez.'' The woman replies
''I serve you for two simple reasons.'' She continues, ''First, it is concerning the timing of fate. And second, it is destiny for me to do this.''
''Destiny?!'' Bison cries, ''What do you mean by that?!''
''That is something for you to find out, my master.'' Sakura answers
''Very well.'' Bison replied, ''What do you have for me?''
''A story to tell...'' Sakura answers and she places in a DVD of her account.

Date: Saturday, July 6th, 2025
Time: 3:00 PM
Place: Space Colony ARK Atrium

A crowd of people gathered around the atrium. It seems that they were excited about something that is about to occur. An old man approached the podium. He has an egg-head, small prescription glasses and a long silver beard lining his face like guardrails. He began to speak.
''My dear colleagues, friends and relatives, I am happy to announce that a new age of colonization today is reborn! The Space Colony 'ARK' is now open to all of mankind from this day forth to continue vast amounts of research and to find new land to occupy!''
The crowd cheered. Among the two who are in the crowd are Sakura and Tomoyo. Sakura is chic in her red qipao dress and matching shoes. Tomoyo is more of the same, but in blue and with added ponytails.
The old man continued, ''I'd like to give thanks to two very special people who gave me inspiration, magic and determination to the works of the project! Both of them have given me heart and moral support...''
''Would you please show your hands and gratitude to my two magical helpers with me today: Sakura Kinomoto-Gonzalez and Tomoyo Daidouji!'' The crowd continued to cheer
He crouched down to them. ''Thank you! I could not have done it without you both!''

Date: Sunday, July 7th, 2025
Time: 3:00 PM
Place: Space Colony ARK Sector 7-G

In Sector 7-G in the ARK, Tomoyo took her video camera and began to tape Sakura. She said, ''Wow, Sakura! I can't believe we're at the ARK! Your family would be so proud of you!''
Just then, they heard the old man who was at the podium yesterday scream, ''Merge with G.U.N.?! I will not allow it!'' He was in another room within the same sector.
Another man was discussing to the old man about a proposition. ''But, Professor Gerald, think of the possibilities we could do with them!'' the man cried, ''We could create our very own top secret weaponry!''
Professor Gerald responded, ''The whole part of this project, Frank, is to give ourselves a better future on living standards. We're not trying to promote war!''
Frank replied, ''But we may need such weaponry for security, that's a benefit factor!''
''Yes, but making more weapons isn't going to save us from bloodshed!'' Professor Gerald cried, ''IT'S A WASTE OF TIME, RESOURCES AND IMPORTANTLY our lives!!! I will NOT allow it! It is my final decision!''
''OK, then. Whatever you say my friend.'' Frank replied, grimly ''But don't tell me that I didn't warn you... we may need to defend ourselves one day...''

Date: Monday, May 11th, 2025
Time: 3:00 PM
Place: Space Colony ARK Entrance

A sergeant and his squad were outside the entrance. He cried out, ''Men! Shoot down every living soul there is according to your area! Show no mercy!''
In another room, Professor Gerald cried, ''Sakura!!! Tomoyo!!! I can't leave them! We got to save them!''
''Professor Gerald!'' a colleague cried, ''We must go before our lives are restricted!''
They managed to escape the Space Colony through an escape pod, unharmed.

Time: 7:00 PM
Place: G.U.N. Headquarters

Unfortunately, Professor Gerald was captured by the G.U.N. organization. In a confined room, he was reading a newspaper. He was looking at the list of deceased. Among them included some of his colleagues and... Tomoyo Daidouji. He also found that Sakura Kinomoto-Gonzalez was among the missing. He was crying and extremely upset that his two favourite helpers have suffered a horrible fate.
Then, an officer approached Professor Gerald. ''Professor Gerald Robotnik, are you willing to serve the G.U.N. Corporation?'' He asked
Professor Gerald sat up and replied slowly. ''Yes...''
''Excellent.'' The officer said, ''Your first assignment is to construct this weapon.'' He handed him a piece of paper. ''Everything's on paper. The rest is up to your genius to work out.''

Date: Monday, May 11th, 2029
Time: 3:00 PM
Place: Top Secret Research Facility

In the top secret research facility, Professor Gerald stepped up to the podium. ''Ladies and gentlemen of the ARK Top Secret Research Facility Foundation, today is the day a new weapon has been born.''
He unveiled the weapon. ''Behold..''
''...THE ECLIPSE CANNON!!!'' Sakura bellows. This giant weapon is as high as a tower and it contains three eggs to hold the tower together. There was also a kaleidoscope with the cannon's controls.
Bison chuckles, ''This IS impressive! My scientists could not possibly develop a weapon like this!''
''True.'' Sakura replied, ''His passion to save the human race was twisted by the massacre here. Now, all he cares about is to kill and exterminate human life...''
''Yes, but where does he get all that energy from?'' Bison asked, ''My Psycho power does not have the capacity to charge a weapon like this one. Somehow we need a city's worth of energy to make the weapon work.''
''That's where I come in.'' Sakura replied, and he showed Bison a Chaos Emerald. He was surprised! Sakura then tossed the Chaos Emerald into one of the slots for the cannon. The cannon began to activate and light up like the sun.
''Right!'' Bison cries, ''The Chaos Emeralds! They have the ability to put the weapon to good use!''
''Exactly!'' Sakura replied,''Having all 7 Chaos Emeralds will release its full potential... which is enough power to destroy one single planet!''
Bison laughed, ''You truly are a genius, Sakura! My scientists have been incompetent, but you are something else! We will go and get the Chaos Emeralds, use that infernal machine and rule the world!'' and he kept laughing evilly.
''I think you will require my help!'' someone cried,
Sakura and Bison turned around and looked up. The woman in black dropped down to the floor. The blonde assassin introduced herself. ''My name is Cammy White. I think you two will need my help.''
Bison cried, ''How did she infiltrate the ARK's defences?!''
Sakura asked, ''And how do you know we need your help?''
''I have proof of my skills.'' Cammy replies and she showed off two Chaos Emeralds!
Bison and Sakura were heavily surprised! ''Well done.'' Sakura replied, quietly
''If you do this for us,'' Bison asks, ''What should we give you?''
''Nothing.'' Cammy answers, ''My work is for free. I just want to be part of this world domination scheme... that's all.''
''OK, then.'' Sakura replied, ''It's a deal.''
''We'll make excellent use for you, Ms. White.'' Bison cried, ''If that is what you want.''
''Perfect!'' Cammy cries, ''But... on one condition though.''
''Could you show me where the bathroom is? I could really use a shower!''

Chapter 09: Raid on Prison Island

Date: Saturday, July 6th, 2030
Time: 12:00 PM
Place: Prison Island

In the dock at Prison Island, Sakura, Bison and Cammy were waiting. Bison spoke first. ''This is it! Our mission is to retrieve the Chaos Emeralds on the double! Sakura! You know the drill! Set the dynamite packs around the island, especially the armoury sector! Cammy! You sneak into the cargo area without being detected and retrieve those Chaos Emeralds! I will distract the guards while you two stick to the plan! We only have 30 minutes to pull this off so don't fail me! OK! Let's move out!''
''Copy that!'' Cammy replied. Sakura said nothing.
Just then, someone landed on top of Sakura! It was Athena! ''Kaori!'' she cried, ''Are you OK?! How did you get out?!''
Then it hit Sakura. ''That feeling again...'' she thought
Then, Athena got up. ''Wait a minute...'' she said, ''You're not Kaori!''
''I'm afraid it's not your cute little friend, Athena!'' Bison cried behind her
She turns around. ''Bison!'' and she runs so fast!
Bison growled and shouted at Cammy. ''Continue the plan as scheduled! I'll take care of that little brat!'' He walked after her.
Cammy said, ''Let's go, Sakura.'' But, nothing happened.
''Sakura?'' Cammy said again and she turned around. Sakura was not feeling too good.
Many thoughts clouded her mind. Memories of Tomoyo began to bring her pain and suffering. Then, she heard Professor Gerald's cry of darkness ''I am your MASTER!!!'' Sakura recovers.
''Are you OK?'' Cammy asks
''We have a mission to complete.'' Sakura replies, ''Let's go!'' and she walks off.
Cammy looks at Sakura and thought, ''Is she the ultimate life form?''
Athena reached a dead end! Bison came up to her and said, ''It's the end of the line for you, Athena!''
''I did not mean any harm!'' Athena cries, ''I wanted to find Kaori!''
''Who am I kidding?'' Athena cried,''If Kaori were here, we would have kicked Bison's butt! Help! Someone!''
Just then, something cried, ''Nova Blast!''
A giant fireball approached Bison! He managed to block it away! Athena turned around. She found a giant yellow lizard with blue stripes and brown helmet-like armour protecting its head. It landed on the dock. ''Greymon!'' she cried, ''Tai!''
''This is my fight, Athena!'' Greymon cries, ''We'll take care of this!''
Then, she heard ''Meteor Wing!''
A spurt of flames targeted Bison. He blocked that too! An orange bird flew overhead. Athena cried, ''Sora! Birdramon!''
''Athena!'' Sora cries, ''Are you OK?''
''I'm fine!'' Athena cries, and then she turns to face Bison. ''In fact, I'm just about to kick you and beat you down!''
''Well... Athena.'' Bison cried, ''You certainly have some fighting spirit. I was wrong to underestimate you. Come after me... if you dare!''
''With pleasure!!!'' Athena cries, and she rushes right to Bison. He electrified himself and... BOOM! There was an explosion that covered the two in smoke.
''Athena!!!'' Tai and Sora cries
Bison remained when the smoke cleared. ''Hmph!'' he said, ''That foolish girl was not worth my time! She was too easy.''
Then, he faced Greymon and Birdramon. ''Now... show me what you got!''
''You got it!'' someone cries
''WHAT?!'' Bison cries,
It was Athena! Her fist turned sharp like a sword's blade. The blade itself was red like fire. ''Psycho...'' she screamed,
''...Sword!!!'' she yells as the blow connects to Bison's face.
Athena somersaulted back up. Bison growled angrily. He yells, ''I will not let you get away with this!''
Then, he focused on his own power. Electricity surrounded the mighty villain. He surrounded himself within a purple aura. Then, he spun himself! ''What power is that?!'' Tai cried,
''Psycho Power.'' Athena recognizes, ''I seen it before. Anyone who gets smashed by Bison's power will likely have a chance to be killed.''
Greymon and Birdramon stood in Athena's way. ''Wait!'' Tai and Sora cries
Bison screamed, ''Psycho Crusher!!!''
He zoomed right at the lizard and the bird. He bashed them both with full force! He even knocked Tai, Sora and Athena out cold!
He stops spinning. He looks around and says, ''Hmph! So much for the heroes and their creatures! Now, I will take my leave.''
''I... don't... think... so...'' Greymon cries,
''WHAT?!'' Bison cried
Tai's little pager known as a Digi-vice began to glow like crazy! Suddenly, an aura of fire blazed around Greymon! He screamed, ''Greymon... Digi-volve to...''
Greymon gained a metal claw, a metal helmet, a metal piece of chest armour and wings that came as if they were from the creatures of Hell. He screams,
''...MetalGreymon!!!''br> The partially-metallic creature appeared before Bison. ''What's this?! Another foolish attempt to stop me? I think you will have to do better than that!'' Bison cries,
Then, he makes another spin. He screams, ''Psycho Crusher!!!''
''Giga Blaster!!!'' MetalGreymon cries and his chest armour opens to reveal two fish missiles! They fired right at Bison. It hit him! Bison flew away!
Athena, Tai and Sora got up. Taichi saw his Digi-friend and said, ''MetalGreymon! What happened?!''
''I don't know, Tai.'' MetalGreymon said, ''I shot Bison and he just flew off like a missile.''
''Nice job, MetalGreymon!'' Tai cries, ''Now, let's rescue Kaori!''

Meanwhile, inside the Prison Island Cargo Bay, Cammy was walking inside undetected as ordered. She said to herself, ''Wow. This place IS under heavy security. No wonder that these Chaos Emeralds will be hard to get.''
''Cammy!'' someone cried on the walkie-talkie. ''This is Bison! Did you manage to get into the basement?!''
''I'm in the basement, over.'' Cammy reported,
''Excellent!'' Bison continued, ''Head to the G.U.N. Security Hall and retrieve the Chaos Emeralds! Hurry up! We only have 10 minutes left! Sakura mounted all the dynamite packs!''
''Copy that.'' Cammy replied, and then she said to herself ''Well... what can I do? Sakura is already ahead of schedule. I better get a few items before I leave.''

Meanwhile, deep within the 'White Jungle' region, Sakura was surrounded my many G.U.N. robots. She flipped one with the spikes overhead over and punched it to its destruction.
She thought to herself, ''Hmph! Too easy! There is nothing that I cannot defeat!''
Bison cried on her walkie-talkie, ''Sakura, excellent work! Return to the base immediately!''
''Copy that.'' Sakura replied
Just then, she heard ''Can anyone hear me? Hello? This is Cammy!''
Sakura picks up the walkie-talkie. ''I've got a small problem. I'm trapped inside this locked safe!''
Cammy continued from within the safe. ''I have acquired all three Chaos Emeralds but G.U.N. has me on all corners. Since that is the case... it is nearly impossible to escape. Sorry... I just cannot call myself a treasure hunter anymore.''
Sakura puts down the walkie-talkie. She thought, ''Cammy can find a way out herself.''
Just then, it hit her. Sakura began to have strange feelings again. She thought, ''Now what?! Why am I having these memories?!''
Then, she heard Tomoyo's voice. ''Please give them another chance to live...''
Sakura was holding her head in pain and in agony. ''It won't be long before the dynamite packs set off!'' she thought, ''If I hurry, then I may be able to save Cammy AND the Chaos Emeralds!'' Then, she cleared her head and ran off to save Cammy.

Chapter 10: Let's Get Out of Prison

Time: 12:20 PM

Inside a prison cell, Kaori was looking at the writing on the wall. Some of it is equations and pictures of what these equations represent. She was dizzy after looking at them for a very long time. ''Wow.'' She said to herself, ''I know Mathematics a lot, but these equations are a killer!''
Just then, she heard an explosion! She looked around at where it might come from. When the smoke cleared, she smiled happily. ''Athena! Tai! Sora!'' she cried,
''Kaori!'' the threesome cried
''Hey. Can you open this cage?'' Kaori asked
''OK, then!'' Athena cried and she pushed a button. The cage opened. Kaori ran and hugged her three favourite friends.
''We're all set?'' Kaori asked
''Yes!!!'' the threesome answered and they left.

Meanwhile, in the jungle zone, Sakura kept running. ''Must hurry up!'' she thought, ''Time is extremely short and if I do not make it, who knows what might happen!''
Just then, she heard, ''Bison calling to Sakura! Can you hear me?! The dynamite packs have been dismantled! The sequence time has been delayed for unknown reasons! Quickly get to the dynamite control unit and re-activate the sequence to 5 minutes now! Hurry up or the island is going to be loaded with security!!!''
''Copy that.'' Sakura replies.

Meanwhile, in the 'Metal Harbour' area, Kaori, Athena, Taichi and Sora were in awe at what they saw. The harbour is thriving with everything working from the oil refineries to the rockets being refuelled.
''Wow...'' Kaori thought, ''It's as if this place was built right for me.''
''Ummm... Kaori.'' Athena said, ''Don't we have to do some investigating? Bison could be up to something.''
''Sure...'' Kaori replies, ''But... that can wait! What matters now is that I board a rocket! Got to fly!'' She rushed off like a bullet.
The three looked at Kaori. ''There she goes.'' Sora said,
''You know Kaori.'' Athena cries, ''She always likes to do something extreme.''
A few kilometres away, Kaori landed on a platform. She activated a rocket by manual controls. The P.A. cried out, ''Rocket launch in 10 seconds!''
The countdown was on as Kaori blazed up to the top. ''10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1...''
''FIRE!!!''
The rocket lifted off slowly. Kaori hung on the topmost rung of the rocket and she thought... ''This is high enough.'' She thought as she reached the clouds.
Then, she jumped off. Kaori blasted from the sky onto a jungle patch. With a thud, she landed on a patch of grass. ''Cool!'' she cried, ''Am I not?''
Then, she looked down. The patch she landed on began to crack. She screamed as she fell down!

Chapter 11: Mother vs. Daughter, Round 1

Luckily, for Kaori she splashed in the water. Kouji was fishing in a nearby marsh. Peli was waiting for a bite so he can assist its fisherman master. He felt his rod tug like a heavy weight dragging down a rope. ''Hey, Peli!'' Kouji cried, ''I got something! And it's big and HOT!!!'
A giant fish jumped out of the river! Hanging on to the fish... was Kaori! Kouji was really confused.

Meanwhile, in another spot in the jungle, Sakura reported via her walkie-talkie. ''Bison, the timer has been reset back to 5 minutes.''
''Good work, Sakura!'' Bison replied, ''Now go and get the Chaos Emeralds any way you can! Do it with or without that Cammy!''
''Copy that.'' Sakura replies, but then she heard screaming. Someone was approaching in her direction! Sakura dodged the flying body. It was Kaori who flew right at her!
Kaori landed herself safely on the grass. ''Yeah!'' she cries, ''I am too cool!''
''Yeah.'' Someone else said, ''Not as cool as me.''
Kaori turns around. She sees her mother once again in the flesh. ''Mom...'' Kaori began, ''Don't do this! You're making a mistake! Surrender now and I promise to take good care of you.''
''Not a chance!'' Sakura retorted, ''Last time was just practice. This time, I will give you everything I got. Since you got in my way, it's time to die.''
Kaori said, holding back tears ''You leave me no choice, then...''
Both Kaori and Sakura looked at each other stoically. For a short while, nothing happened... until they ran at each other!
They both tried to punch each other. What they got is a fist meeting up with another fist. They skilfully tried to grapple and grab each other. They locked themselves in a hold. ''Mom!'' Kaori cries ''Wait! You don't have to do this!''
''True.'' Sakura said, ''My fighting is much like yours. This fight has just begun, you know...''
...and she head butts her daughter! ''...and you're the first to give up a hit!''
Sakura tossed Kaori into a tree. Kaori recovers and bounces off that tree that she was thrown at! She punches Sakura in the jaw!
Kaori lands in front of Sakura. ''One shot for each of us... We're even so far.''
''Oh yeah?'' Sakura retorted... and did a high kick on Kaori! The daughter managed to grab her mom's leg! ''Gotcha!'' Kaori cried,
Kaori threw her down! Sakura quickly got up. But not before... she suffered a hurricane kick from Kaori! Sakura was knocked back down!
The two stared at each other again after a tiresome fight. Kaori spat out blood from her mouth. She said, ''Had enough of me yet?''
Sakura retorted after cleaning up her face which was filled with blood in the first place, ''I don't think so! You got lucky there!''
''Yeah.'' Kaori agreed, ''Maybe I have been lucky. That move I did on you was taught by my father. I think you know him... as your husband, Luis Gonzalez!''
''Stop convincing me!'' Sakura cried, ''I told you... I am NOT your mother!''
Just then, Sakura heard from her walkie-talkie, ''Sakura! Can you hear me?! This is Bison! What in blazes are you doing?! Report back to Tokyo Bay with the Chaos Emeralds right now before the island blows up with you on it!!!!!''
''BLOWS UP?!?!'' Kaori screamed,
Sakura turned to Kaori. ''I no longer have time to play with you, Kaori.'' She said, ''Try and escape now!'' She disappears in hellfire.
''Damn it!'' Kaori thought, ''This is getting way too dangerous!!! I have got to find Athena, Tai and Sora before the island blows up right away!''
Then, she heard ''Kaori!!!''
Kaori rushes to an edge of a gate. She sees her three friends. She thought, ''Thank God they are safe.''
''Let's go!!!'' Kaori cried out, ''This island is about to blow!!!''
Meanwhile, deep within the G.U.N. Corporation's cargo zone with a single minute left before the destruction of the island, Sakura rushes in and found Cammy! She reaches out!
With half a minute to go, Kaori and her three friends hung on to the HDV 9000 as it flew across the island! Finally...
BOOM!!!!! The island explodes with fury and rage! Luckily, the heroes made it out alive! Athena screams, ''Yeah! I did it!''

Chapter 12: Blood Emerald

Time: 2:00 PM
Place: Sapporo, Japan

Jin was really feeling it! ''Wow! What the hell?!'' he cried as he hung on to a pillar. ''Damn! This place is more of an easy spot for an earthquake!''
He got up and said to himself,''But, this is nothing that I have not faced before. This is beautiful, though. Being in the north of a country that I am living with my girlfriend, it really feels good!''
Then, it hit him as he reached the topmost part of the cavern. He took out the Master Emerald piece he got in Hiroshima and said, ''It is telling me that... I may fall into a trap. I better be at utmost caution.''
''But... what does it mean?'' Jin thought
Then, he tapped into the piece's energy. ''This piece also tells me... that another is hiding in a mechanism that towers the canyon with its four wings! They spin in motion through the howling of the north wind! Its shadow comforts life upon the cliff face at noon!''
He did some thinking and looked around. Then, he found it. At the end of the cliff, there was fan that followed the clue's qualifications. Then, Jin ran and jumped on the cliff. He climbed up and he said proudly, ''Only a few more pieces of the emerald to go... then Angel Island is restored to its rightful place!''
Then, he grabbed the emerald sticking out. Just then, a clown's face surprised Jin! Then... an explosion occurred! Jin fell all way down to a deep hole and into water.
Jin popped out of the water. ''What the hell?!'' Jin cried, ''Who in their right mind sprays me with teargas?!''
''That would be me!'' someone cried. Jin looked up. It was Fang the Hotshot! He stole the Master Emerald piece from Jin!
''Fang! That was you!'' Jin cried,
''What do you think, kid?!'' Fang cried, ''That was a pretty well-prepared trap, wasn't it?!''
''Yeah, right!'' Jin cried, ''I am going to kill you as soon I get out of this water in a few seconds!''
''Nice try!'' Fang cries, and presses a button. A piece of ground where the water stood exploded! Jin was caught in a whirlpool and he was sinking!
''I had everything planned out and you fell right into my master trap!!!'' Fang continued, ''Time to sleep with the fishes, Jin! Enjoy the ride... more like your watery grave!!!''
Jin sunk to the bottom of parts unknown and could not recover...

Chapter 13: Hell above Earth

Place: Space Colony ARK

Meanwhile, in the Space Colony ARK, Sakura was looking at the stars. She was wondering something. It was a hard time for her. It seemed so long since she separated from her family. Then, she heard, ''Sakura! There you are! I was so worried about you!''
It was Tomoyo. ''Oh... Hi, Tomoyo.'' Sakura replied,
''How are you feeling?'' Tomoyo asked,
''Not too good.'' Sakura replied, ''I have been doing a lot of thinking lately. I have been separated from my family for too long. It seems like forever that I have been in contact with my husband and kids. I'm afraid of what can happen to them.''
''Don't worry, Sakura.'' Tomoyo consoled, ''I'm sure they are OK. I mean, you have done a lot to your son and daughter, especially you and her husband. Look at where they are thanks to you. They have become extremely good fighters. My son would be happy to hear where Kaori got her training from if he asked.''
''You know... Tomoyo...'' Sakura began, ''I wonder if I could reveal my other... work that I have been doing since we were children.''
Tomoyo answered, ''Your children would be amazed at what you can do. They would probably be the new heir to the Clow Cards. Of course... they will not be doing as good on their first try.''
''True.'' Sakura replied, ''Do you remember when I tried to capture the first Clow Card?''
''Yes.'' Tomoyo simply answered, ''You were sort of clumsy when you handled the Fly Card. But, in the end... you did manage to catch it.''
''That's right.'' Sakura answers, ''Since then, I worked hard to catch every one of them and look where I am now. Now, I have an excellent husband who taught me a style of martial arts that I never knew about before.''
''That's cool.'' Tomoyo said, ''I wish one day I can learn your art of fighting.''
''You know...'' she continued, starting to be slightly seductive ''...I think your skills need a little...''
''...working out!!!'' She began to tickle Sakura.
Sakura laughed extremely loudly! ''Hey, Tomoyo! Cut it out!'' she cried,
''Sakura!'' a voice cried out
Sakura snapped out of it. Cammy was behind her. She said, ''Are you OK?''
Then, she continued, ''Well done, Sakura. I did not think that you would come and rescue me. That is so not you! That was really helpful that your Chaos Control move can warp us!''
Sakura was slightly ticked off. She turned around and said, ''Look. I did not try to save you back there! I only did it to retrieve the Chaos Emeralds.''
''Sure...'' Cammy said, sarcastically ''You did, however, make your move... and I took credit for...''
''Sorry to be a bothersome fly...'' someone said. It was Bison. ''But, let's get down to business, shall we?''
''Why now?'' Cammy cried, ''We only have six of the seven Chaos Emeralds!''
''That is more than enough for our demonstration.'' Sakura replied, ''So... what are we waiting for?!''

To unleash pain... To show them how it feels... To be locked away in isolation by my own kind... Sick, sick humans...
To unleash terror... To show true power of my long-awaited research... Research that took 50 years in the making...
The time has come to bring forth ''Judgement Day''!
''It's time to show these humans a lesson they will NEVER forget!''

Time: 6:00 PM

Bison's face appeared on a giant TV screen. ''Citizens of Earth, lend me your ears and listen very carefully!'' he cried out,
People then focused their attention at TV screens everywhere! ''My name is Bison. Today is going to be your last day of peace! Tomorrow, a new world order is imminent!
From now on, you are going to be enslaved under the wrath of Shadowlaw and you will serve me as your world leader!''
People were extremely terrified! They knew that they would fall prey to what could be a new world order!
At the atmosphere of the Earth, a small ball-like rock lay by. Just then, there was a crackling sound! Half the rock exploded to reveal a tip of the colony. Blue energy surrounded the tip of the colony. It suddenly fired! People looked at the blue beam streaking across the Earth. Then, the blue beam made contact with the Moon. It exploded into small chunks leaving half of it intact! Then, a countdown began from 24 hours...

Back on the streets, Kaori and her three friends, Athena, Tai and Sora, were watching half the moon explode. ''My God!'' Sora cried,
''Half the moon is gone!'' Tai continued,
''Bison!'' Kaori cried, ''I knew he was up to something! He is going to pay! I am going to kill him and his Shadowlaw cronies!''
''Come on, everyone!'' She continued, ''We have no time to lose!''
''Wait, Kaori!'' Athena cried, ''I have something to tell you! This is important! Bison could not have fired that beam all by himself. He must have used some sort of energy source to do it with!''
''You mean to tell me...'' Kaori said,
''He is using the Chaos Emeralds!'' Athena cried,
''Damn it!'' Kaori cried, ''Bison beat us all to the Chaos Emeralds!''
''I don't get it.'' Tai cried,''What are Chaos Emeralds?''
Athena began, ''The Chaos Emeralds have mystical properties and abilities, and the holder of them all can use them for a variety of purposes, including transforming into a powerful ''super form''. Each emerald is composed of positive and negative charged materials which make them an everlasting source of energy and allow them to float in the air.''
''Bookworm!'' Kaori muttered, behind her back
''So...'' Sora said, ''Does it mean that Bison has all seven Chaos Emeralds?''
Kaori thought of something. ''I did see Mom holding one of the Chaos Emeralds.''
''Not exactly, Sora.'' Athena reported, ''Kaori, look at this!''
Kaori looked at Athena. In her hand, she held a yellow jewel. ''Athena?!!'' she cried
''See... The Chaos Emeralds are like magnets and they react to close proximity'' Athena continued,
''What does it mean?!'' Agumon and Biyomon asked,
''We could use it to locate the Chaos Emeralds and Bison who is holding them!'' Athena answered,
Just then, someone cried, ''There they are!''
Everyone turned around. They found soldiers! ''It's that girl!'' one cried, ''It seems that she has some allies with her! This could be dangerous!''
''Be on your guard, men!'' The squad leader cried, ''Don't underestimate them!''
''Kaori!'' Athena cried,''We're surrounded by Tokyo's Special Police Force! What do we do?!''
''I'll tell you what we're going to do!'' Kaori cried and got in her fighting position, ''We're going to give them a warm welcome that they will NEVER forget!''
Athena got in her fighting position. ''I'm right behind you, Kaori!''
''I got the front!'' Kaori cried, ''Athena, you have the team at the back! Tai and Sora, take your Digimon and strike the team on the left and right, respectively!''
''Got it!'' Tai and Sora acknowledged
''Ready?'' Kaori cried,
''FIGHT!!!''

Chapter 14: Falling into Deaf Ears

Place: Sewer (between Sapporo and Tokyo)

In a sewer, a body jumped out of the water. It was Jin! He was knocked down. He got up and he coughed.
''Whoa...'' Jin said, ''Where am I? My head... it hurts so badly and the pain is like a splinter in my mind...''
Then, he remembered his mission. He thought and smiled, ''I have totally underestimated that weasel, but this show is not over yet. I will come back for him and that war girl...''

Place: Space Colony ARK Genetics Lab

Sakura looked inside a tube. She also began to think of Tomoyo. Thoughts have clouded her mind like a thunderstorm. She screamed, ''Tomoyo! Why... why did they take your life away?! I... I will NEVER forgive them!!!''
Then, she screamed like someone cried out for help!
Cammy heard everything from the shower. She thought, ''Is it just me or... do I just hear something?''
Then, she said to herself, ''Must be my imagination playing tricks on me. I have been watching too many scary movies lately...''
Then, she sees Bison with a towel wrapped around him go in. She screams like a terrified woman that is about to be stabbed!
In the navigation room, Bison and Cammy were really upset at each other! Bison paid for it with a smack in the face! Sakura felt really embarrassed.
Then, she said, ''In light of the people being in fear of us during our demonstration, I say it was a complete success. Right now, the people down on Earth are under a lot of psychological stress from another possible attack. Not even the top military forces of the world can stop us now. Their technology is behind ours by a large margin!''
Sakura continued, ''The world is currently defenceless! Confusion and panic are spreading to media by the second! You know, I suggest that we take advantage of this situation quickly and look for the final Chaos Emerald before they discover that the Eclipse Cannon can only fire again at full impact with all seven Chaos Emeralds!''
''Good idea.'' Bison agreed, ''But we do have a small problem. We have no idea where the final Chaos Emerald is!''
''Leave that to me!'' Cammy cried, and pulled out a newspaper. On the cover was a picture of Athena. This was the report on the cover titled, ''Psychic Volcano!''
TOKYO - A volcanic eruption from Mount Fuji was thought to cover Tokyo with a blanket of magma.
That was not the case. Apparently, a young girl with Psychic powers managed to stop the lava flow from Mt. Fuji by using her powers to lift a giant rock to cover the volcano! The girl, identified as Athena Asamiya was greatly rewarded by the Emperor of Japan! He gave her a Chaos Emerald and a key to the city!
''OK, here's the plan I'm thinking of.'' Cammy continued, ''Bison, you and Sakura wait here and I will take care of the Chaos Emerald.''
Sakura thought, ''Where does she go ahead and get all this information?!''
''I'm going to sleep.'' Cammy announced, ''I will need it in order the catch that emerald. I will have it before noon tomorrow.''
''Wait!'' Sakura cried, ''That plan is a little too swift and risky. Besides, I got an even better plan installed for Kaori and her friends. I have no doubts that they will stop us this time, so listen carefully...''

Chapter 15: Mission Commencing

Date: Sunday, July 7th, 2030
Time: 10:00 AM
Place: Tai & Sora's Apartment (Tokyo)

In the apartment where Tai and Sora live, Kaori was sleeping in her guest bed. She got up and stretched. Then, she went to the living room. She saw Athena use Tai's computer. Kaori walked over and asked, ''Did you pick up anything?''
''No.'' Athena answered, ''It's really hard to decode anything. I can't get a lock on the Chaos Emeralds anywhere!''
''Unless...'' she thought,
Then, she said out loud, ''Bison has stationed himself underground!''
''No... It can't be.'' She said quietly again, ''It would have picked it up if the emeralds were on both levels of the planet.''
Kaori was getting hungry. ''Oh no!'' she cried, ''I have not had anything decent to eat at all since yesterday!''
''Me too!'' Athena cried, ''I have not eaten for days and days, and I can't find Bison under this hunger!''
Then, the door opened. ''Hello everyone!'' Tai and Sora cried, and they brought food!
Kaori and Athena began to eat. Tai and Sora were also eating, too! They gave some of the food to their Digimon. They were happy and well fed. Then, Kaori asked, ''I asked on that letter before I left which version of the games I left you did you like better.''
''Oh!'' Tai cried, ''I loved the Dreamcast version a lot! There were a lot of things that made the game cool and fresh! I also found lots of downloadables, I might add!''
''We prefer that version instead.'' Sora agreed, ''I know it is the same game, but I found very little new content in the GameCube version.''
After their ''breakfast'', everyone walked outside. Athena cried out, ''That was good! Thanks a lot, Tai and Sora!''
''You're welcome!'' Tai and Sora cried, simultaneously
Then, she imitated a radio. ''Athena to Kaori. Come in, Kaori, over!''
''Kaori to Athena, I am right behind you and clear for takeoff.'' Kaori responded
Then, it hit Athena. She thought of space and the moon! ''I GOT IT!!!'' she cried,
Her friends turned around. ''I'll explain everything later!'' Athena continued, ''Right now, we have to find the Emperor!''
''Understood, Athena!'' Kaori cried, ''Just leave it to me!''
''Hold it right there!'' someone cried. It was a band of soldiers. ''We definitely got you this time!''
''What makes you so sure?!'' Kaori cried,
A gun cocked in front of Kaori's face. She cries, ''How many times do we have to tell you guys?! We are NOT the bad guys?!''
Then, everyone charged up their energy. Kaori fired her energy shot from her fists and shot a group of soldiers! Athena blasted her Psycho Ball at her group. Agumon fired its Pepper Breath at another group! Lastly, Biyomon burned a group with a Spiral Twister!
''Too easy!'' Kaori cried
Just then, someone fired glue on Kaori's feet! ''What the hell is this?!'' Kaori cried, ''I can't move!''
Then, she was caught in a net that was fired from another gun! ''Kaori!'' they all cried,
Kaori was suffering hits from the machine! Athena, Agumon and Biyomon came after the machine!
They were hit! They flew around the block and hit her! Tai and Sora ran to Kaori. ''Kaori!'' Tai and Sora cried, ''Are you OK?!''
''I'm OK, thank you.'' Kaori answered,
She could not move. ''I suffered a whole lot of pain! I can't move a muscle!'' Kaori continued, ''You got to get out of here! Take Agumon and Biyomon with you!''
Tai listened then he stood up. ''No way!'' he cried, ''I'm staying with you!''
Then, he turned to the machine. ''Tai!'' Sora cried, ''What are you doing?!''
''Come at me, mecha-dork!'' Tai cried, ''What? Are you scared or something?!''
Sora ran after Tai and... kissed him! Then, she faced the machine. ''You are not hurting my boyfriend!'' she cried
Then, something happened. A manhole lifted up. It tipped the robot over! Everyone saw who came out of the manhole. It was Jin!
''Jin!!!'' everyone cried
''What the hell?'' Jin thought
''Jin!!!'' Kaori cried,
''Kaori!'' Jin cried and ran to her. ''Are you OK?!''
Kaori said slowly, ''I am now...'' Jin picked her up... and kissed her! ''Oh... thanks, baby.'' She continued
After a while, Jin heard everything that was going on. ''So... you mean to tell me,'' Jin said, ''That Bison is responsible for that energy beam that shot the moon and destroyed half of it?''
''Correct, Jin.'' Kaori said, ''He even made a public announcement that the planet would be no more in now less than 24 hours if they do not meet his demands! Jin, are you coming or what?''
''Well... you see... I...'' Jin began,
''Baby,'' Kaori said, ''You'll never know if Bison is responsible for the missing M.E.''
''Well... in that case...'' Jin replied, ''Count me in!''
''Thanks, baby.'' Kaori said and hugged Jin. ''We'll need all the help we can get!''
''I have a plan in place, so listen up!'' Kaori announced, ''Athena believes that Bison has hid somewhere in space! I want to make sure it is true. So, she and I are rushing after the Emperor to confirm this! While we're away, Tai, Sora and Jin, you guys find some sort of transportation. We'll need a lot of time to get to wherever this place is so and there is not much left... so are you all ready?!''
''Yeah!'' everyone cried

Chapter 16: Double Pursuit

Time: 1:00 PM
Place: Tomei Expressway (between Tokyo and Osaka)

In the main highway, Kaori and Athena were driving to chase the Emperor of Japan. They were doing 150 in a 100 mph speed limit! The traffic was moving slow, but they would not give up the chase to see the Emperor!
''You have a lock on the Emperor, Athena?'' Kaori asked
Athena looked at the radar. ''I have a lock, Kaori!'' she cried, ''He's 65 kilometres ahead of us!''
''Step on it, Athena!'' Kaori cried, ''We cannot afford to lose the Emperor! He's the key to helping us find Bison!''
Athena pushed on the gas. They sped up faster! They did not see a couple of racers flying behind them. Soon, they caught up to them! One cried to the girls, ''Hey! Nice ride! Too bad we'll tear it down!''
''We do not have time for games!'' Kaori cried, ''We have a very important mission to attend to!''
''Yeah!'' another racer cried, ''Us!''
''No use convincing them, Kaori!'' Athena said, ''We should take them down for mocking us! Besides, the Emperor is on the way to where we are going!''
''Understood, Athena!'' Kaori replied, and then she turned to the racers ''All right! You want a challenge?! You got one!''
Immediately, the HDV 9000 blazed ahead of the competition! The racers cried, ''Let's get them!''
The race was on! The five racers began to corner the HDV 9000. Then, they started to bash it like a wrecking ball! ''Don't let up, Athena!'' Kaori cried,
''I'm... trying!'' Athena cried,
''Let's pick them off one at a time!'' Kaori cried
Athena started to bash each of the 5 enemy racers. She slammed one right into the wall! It flew up like a bird! The lead racer growled ''You will pay for that!''
''Oh yeah?!'' Kaori and Athena cried, ''Try us!''
The four racers smashed the HDV 9000 to the other road where the cars are going the opposite direction! They evaded traffic as if they are gunshots! One tried to ram the HDV to the wall! But, he did not see the oncoming traffic and then... CRASH!!!
The racer skidded to the side. ''Yeah!'' Kaori cried, ''Only three more to go!''
All 4 cars raced to an exit to the Meishin Expressway. ''Fire the booster rockets, now!'' Kaori cried,
''Got it!'' Athena cried and activated the nitro booster rockets! They zoomed further down the freeway! The racers see this and cried, ''Oh yeah?! We can play that game!''
They activated their nitro boost! They sped up to the HDV 9000! Athena looked at the mirrors. ''We have three bogeys on our tail!'' she cried,
''Try to lose them!'' Kaori cried, ''And if you need to, attack them with full force!''
The HDV skidded along the freeway, cutting traffic and missing oncoming traffic! The racers were pursuing the girls at full throttle! They did a triangle formation, trapping the HDV in the middle. Then, the girls heard beeping. ''Kaori!'' Athena cried, ''I have a lock on the Emperor! He's close by!''
''Let's lose these dorks and catch up to the Emperor!'' Kaori cried,
The HDV rammed the lead racer! He growled and cried, ''I'll make you pay for this!''
The other two racers broke off the formation and chased the HDV! The HDV swerved to the left. The racer rammed it to the wall! There was a brawl between vehicles in the left guardrail! The HDV struggled to break free! Finally, it did and rammed the racer onto an oncoming exit! It crashed!
Then, the HDV put the brakes on! The enemy racers zoomed by! Then, the HDV sped up again! It rammed them both! One crashed into an oncoming RV! The leader was left! The HDV rammed it into the right guardrail! The racer was scared!
Kaori began to scream, ''You underestimate us! You should not have challenged us! It's time to end this challenge!''
The HDV rammed the leader into an oncoming fuel truck! It exploded!
Athena cried, ''The Emperor is close by! Let's change now!''
She activated transformation controls. The HDV became a plane and flew overhead.
Meanwhile, in the Emperor's limousine, the assistant gave the news to the Emperor. ''Mr. Emperor,'' she began, ''Reports show that since the incident last night, the entire world is in turmoil. Our financial communities are impacted, and our satellite communications are down. An emergency meeting from the United Nations has been called. Mr. Emperor, this is a global crisis.''
The Emperor of Japan was busy talking to Bison. ''I will not ask for the details, but I do want to know. What exactly do you want, Bison?''
Bison was talking from the ARK via a video screen. He laughs and said, ''OK, then. I see you want to get under way since I know you are a very busy man. Mr. Emperor, my demands are straightforward. Surrender to the Shadowlaw regime and make no attempts to resist. Otherwise...''
''Otherwise?'' Mr. Emperor said,
Bison answers,''Otherwise, your planet will cease to exist! You have less than 24 hours to give me your answer.''
''No way!'' someone cried. It was Kaori! She and Athena jumped inside the limousine!
''What the...'' the Emperor cried
''Kaori!'' Bison cried from the other side, ''You little...''
''What's going on here?!'' the Emperor cried,
Athena connected her HP laptop to the video terminal. The screen was gone. ''Oh no!'' the Emperor cried, ''What did you do?!''
''Don't worry, Mr. Emperor!'' Kaori said, ''Everything is under control! Just leave it us! Do you have it, Athena?''
Athena kept messing around with the laptop, until finally... she found the location of the other side! ''Got it!'' she cried, ''He's transmitting from the Space Colony ARK!''
''OK!'' Kaori cries, ''Let's move it!!!''
Athena disconnects the laptop and jumped out first! Kaori followed her. ''Hey, you!'' the Emperor cried, ''Wait!!!''
''Sorry!'' the girls cried out

Chapter 17: Double Up

Time: 2:30 PM
Place: Meishin Expressway (30 kilometres eastbound from Hiroshima)

Cammy looked around the city for a sign of the HDV, but so far she has not had any luck seeing it. She waited by her new car which can do 200 km/h in a single burst. She was talking on her headset.''Hello.'' She began, ''Everything is going OK. I have learned that the Chaos Emeralds have powered the cannon to its potential... I am going to retrieve the Emeralds again when I have the chance.''
''Copy that.'' The other side said, and then she heard a beep on the other line.
''I'll call you back.'' Cammy said, and then she flipped to the other line.
''Hello, Bison.'' She said, ''I have no lock on the Chaos Emerald just yet. In fact, I have not spotted the carrier of such emerald yet.''
''Don't worry.'' She continued, ''I'll keep looking.''
Then, she spotted a blue and black plane. ''Never mind! I have a lock, Bison! I'm going after it!'' Then, she got in her car and blazed after what could be the HDV 9000! She sped along the freeway avoiding traffic as if they are bullets!
Surprisingly, the traffic did not move out of the way at all! Cammy fired her nitro booster rockets. Her car moved extremely fast!
Once again, the traffic did not see it coming! They did not even paid attention to the speeding car! As the wind blew by her face, she kept looking to the sky, hoping the plane would slow down. Cammy kept speeding up and not giving up her chase. Then, she sees a figure right on the memorial hilltop of Hiroshima.
It seems that the figure was keeping an eye on the plane. Cammy spoke on the headset, ''Sakura! Chaos Emerald on the blue plane, spotted at 11 o'clock!''
It was Sakura. She was watching the plane! She replied, ''Copy that. I'm in pursuit.''
She disappeared from the hill she was on and grinded on a rail westbound. She kept up with the plane, jumping from hill to hill and from house to house. She was swift and silent like a ninja.
The trail continued from Hiroshima to Kobe. Sakura sped along the highway to catch up to the plane. She jumped swiftly and silently from various poles and high grounds.
The plane sped from Kobe to Osaka. She saw the Osaka Castle, but she stopped. She thought, ''This was the place that there was a giant explosion occurred during a tournament my husband and I participated in...''
Then, she stopped. ''What am I doing?! Why am I thinking about this now?! I have a plane to chase!'' She kept moving.
The chase continued in Nagoya. Sakura was determined not to give up the chase of the plane.
After a wild chase that left Sakura in the dark in Akita, she looks up. The plane was heading north. ''Bison...'' she said trying to catch her breath after a multi-city chase, ''The plane is heading to the base in Sapporo.''
''Just sit tight, Sakura.'' Bison replied, ''I have them on radar. There is no way they can get away.''
Sakura put down the radio slightly. ''I do not know what they are planning, but rest assured, I will be sure to give them a warm welcome...''

Chapter 18: Breaking In

Time: 3:00 PM
Place: Sapporo, Japan

The HDV landed on a nearby plain in the suburbs of Sapporo. Kaori and her four friends saw a facility within a farm park. ''Who builds a large facility within the farm park?!''
Kaori cried
''Bison and his boys would.'' Athena replied
''I did see Bison go inside that facility.'' Jin said, ''I also noticed the female assassin walk in with him. Tai, Sora, did you both take notice?''
''Yes.'' They simultaneously said
''Since this is the case,'' Athena said, ''We should get to outer space from here.''
''OK, then.'' Kaori said, and cooked up a plan. ''Athena, go in and find the entrance. Tai and Sora, send Greymon and Birdramon to cover for Athena. Jin and I will wait here until you found an entrance to the inside of the facility. I have no idea of what this space colony is all about, but I am going to find that cannon. I will destroy it and kill Bison with my own two hands!''
''Are you all set?!'' she cries
''Yeah!'' they all shout

It did not take very long to find the entrance into the facility. ''Kaori!'' Athena cried from her walkie-talkie, ''I have located the entrance! We'll go ahead! Find the magic fireworks flare!''
''Copy that.'' Kaori acknowledged
She saw the magic fireworks flare. ''Let's go, Jin!'' Kaori cried and she and Jin rushed off to the entrance to the facility.
The facility was more like a cavern than anything else! Kaori grabbed Jin's hand and rushed ahead! ''This is how I roll, Jin!'' she cried, ''You will love this!''
''This is not what I had in mind!'' Jin cried,
''Trust me!'' Kaori replied back, ''You will enjoy the thrill of it all!''
With every twist and turn, Jin screamed as if it's for his life! Guards were aware of the couple's presence. The two tag-teamed to bring down as many guards as they possibly could!
Then, they reached the entrance of the base of operations. Athena and the others were waiting for them. They both looked at a locked door. ''We have reached the centre of the facility.'' Athena said,
''It seems that Bison hired some scientists to hijack and steal a few spaceships.'' Kaori said, ''We'll find one for sure!''
''How do we get inside?'' Sora asked, observing the door ''It's locked.''
''Some key is needed to get inside.'' Athena agreed.
Everyone turned to Jin. ''What are you all looking at?'' He asked
Then, he realized why they were looking at him strangely.''Hey! No! Not me!'' he cried, ''I do not look for anything other than the Master Emerald!''
Kaori stepped to Jin. ''Baby... Listen.'' She began, ''I know how much the emerald means to you. I want to help get it back. OK? Stop thinking of yourself and think of us!''
''Well...OK.'' Jin said, ''I guess you're right.''
''Right on, Jin!'' Kaori said, ''Listen. You're going to be OK. You know how to look for the emerald pieces, right? So... think of the key as an emerald piece. Good luck. I love you.''
''Yeah.'' Jin said, ''You too.'' He left and snuck inside the 'Death Chamber' sector of the facility.
Jin looks at a map in Death Chamber. He did not know where to look first. He focused his mind on the item at hand. ''Great spirits of the Master Emerald,'' he thought, ''Help me search for the key that will lead me and my friends to the spaceship to launch to the Space Colony!''
Energy flowed around him as he remained focused. Then, it hit him! ''An assassin holds it.'' He said to himself, ''He is hiding in a hidden room with the azure feeling and a creature that can strike at close range.''
Then, Jin rushes to another chamber. He dug through a wall that led him to another room with an ''azure'' feeling. Then, he saw... Fang the Sniper! ''You!'' Jin cried,
''Yeah, that's right, boy!'' Fang cried, ''I have the one and only key to the spaceship control room in this facility! I thought I had gotten rid of you! Now, this time, I will make NO mistake!''
''You will make no mistake, all right!'' Jin cried, ''I will kill you with my own two fists!''
''Try to catch me, if you dare!'' Fang cried and he ran off.
''You little...'' Jin cried and he ran after him!
The chase led him to a central air-conditioning room. He looked around. ''Damn it!'' Jin cried, ''That stupid fool must be hiding somewhere!''
Then, he heard a loud growl! He looked around shouting, ''Huh? Who's there?!''
Then, what he found is... a ghost! A giant ghost in that matter! It began to chase Jin! He ran away from the ghost! The ghost began to chase him down. It fired fireballs at Jin. He sped up to evade them.
The ghost then blew a huge fireball! Then, Jin saw something as he came around the giant ghost. A smaller ghost was holding an hourglass. Jin punched the small ghost.
The hourglass flipped! The doors above opened revealing sunlight! The giant ghost screamed! Then, it hid below ground. ''That's it!'' Jin thought, ''It must be afraid of sunlight! I better find him and strike quick!''
Jin ran around searching for the ghost. He found the shadow... and dug deep. The ghost jumped and ran! Jin jumped ahead of the ghost and yelled, ''Gotcha!''
He extended his right leg and foot and did all kinds of kicks on the ghost! ''Shippu...''
Then, Jin flew up into the sky and did a spin-kick on the ghost! ''...Jinrai Kyaku!!!''
Not only did Jin's move burn the ghost, but it also killed it! Then, Jin looked around for the key. He found it on the turnaround platform below the one he was on. ''Hmph!''
Jin thought, ''Fang should have been thinking about what to do with me next time! Now, to let my girlfriend in...''
He grabbed the key and headed off the control centre.

Chapter 19: A Rocky Fight

Time: 3:45 PM

A door opens in the control centre. Jin was there. ''Jin!'' Kaori cried,
''Hey, baby!'' Jin said as Kaori ran up to him and gave him a hug. ''How did it go?'' she asked
''It was quite a rough search, but I did find it.'' Jin said, ''You would not believe the time I took to locate it!''
''Nice job, Jin.'' Kaori said, and kissed him on the cheek. ''Let's go, everyone!''
Athena, Tai, Sora and their Digimon followed. Just then, they heard a voice. ''You little brats! Did you really think you can get out of here alive?!''
Another door opens! ''Bison!'' Kaori cried, ''What?! You want to dance with us?!''
''This time, I will take your lives as well as that Chaos Emerald!'' Bison cried, ''I call on you to destroy these pests! Come on out, my servant!''
He charged up his Psycho Power! A giant statue rose from the sand onto the circular platform! Kaori looked up, and thought, ''This is going to be a rocky fight to the end!''
Then, she said out loud, ''Are you thinking what I am thinking, Tai and Sora?''
''You bet, Kaori! Greymon!'' Tai cried, ''Provide cover for Kaori!''
''Birdramon!'' Sora cried, ''Help Kaori!''
''You got it!'' their Digimon replied,
Kaori ran to the Psycho Golem. But, it punched her down to the ground!
''Take this, rock brain!'' Greymon cried, ''Nova Blast!''
He shot a fireball from its mouth! But it did not affect the Psycho Golem! ''I got the next shot!'' Birdramon cried, ''Meteor Wing!''
A spurt of flames came from Birdramon's wings! It did not affect the Psycho Golem, either! It spun its arms around! It smashed Greymon and Birdramon! They fell into the quicksand!
''Oh no!'' Tai cried, ''Greymon!''
Jin cried, ''Kaori!'' She was also in the quicksand... and she is sinking! ''Someone help her!''
Birdramon carried Kaori to safety! But when it tried to come back pick up Greymon, it was much too heavy for the bird! Greymon kept falling into the quicksand! ''Come on!''
Tai cried, ''Digi-volve!''
''Birdramon!'' Sora cried,
An aura of burning flame surrounded Greymon and Birdramon! ''Greymon... Digi-volve to..''
Metal appeared all over Greymon and broken wings appeared! ''...MetalGreymon!''
Birdramon cried, "Birdramon! Digi-volve to..." She gained extra legs and arms while keeping the wings intact! She became the Hindu monster Garuda, but is known as...
"Garudamon!" she cried,
Athena and Jin tried to wake up Kaori! ''Get up, Kaori!'' Athena cried
''Come on, baby!'' Jin cried, ''Wake up!''
Kaori awakened slowly. Then, she noticed something on top of the Psycho Golem's head. It was a control box! She got up! ''That control box on its head!'' Kaori cried,
''That's the weak point! Give it everything you got!''
MetalGreymon was sinking still, but then he shouted... ''Mega Claw!!!'' Garudamon shot out of the sand!
Its metal claw shot out of its arm and hooked onto the golem's back! ''Kaori!'' it cried, ''Get on! I'm helping you reach the top!''
Kaori rushed to MetalGreymon's extended claw. She ran right to the tip of the claw. Then, she jumped up and cupped her two hands. Energy flowed around her body. It then condensed into her fists. She waited...
...and waited...
...until finally she screams, ''Shinkuu...''
''Hadou-ken!!!'' Her super blue aura fireball blasted the control box!
''Wing Blade!'' Garudamon cried and fired the flaming phoenix spirit from her body on to the control box!
''Giga Blaster!!!'' MetalGreymon cried and fired two fish missiles from its chest! It hit the control box!
It destroyed the control box! The Psycho Golem goes down! Kaori landed on her feet. ''And another one bites the dust!'' she cried, and she turned to her friends ''Thanks to your Digimon, Tai and Sora. Thank you.''
''You're welcome.'' They both said
Their Digimon turned back into their Rookie forms. ''Let's go!'' Kaori cried and they all ran into the spaceship control centre.

Chapter 20: Within the ARK

A rocket was about to lift off! ''Green light for launch!'' a P.A. announced, ''Primary engine ignition on! Beginning lift-off countdown!''
Luckily, Kaori and all of her friends boarded it! ''10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5...4... 3... 2... 1... Shuttle lift-off!'' It blasted out of the Shadowlaw facility and right into space!
It did not take long for them to find the Space Colony ARK. ''So...'' Kaori said, ''That's the space colony where Bison is hiding.''
Then, the spaceship smashed something! ''Ouch!'' Kaori cried, ''We're hit! Is everyone OK?!''
Just then, a shuttle door opens! Pieces of jewellery flew out into space! ''Where they...'' Jin said, ''Oh no! Master Emerald pieces! Let me out of here now!''
''No way!'' Kaori cried, ''Get off the control panel now!''
Soon, the spaceship was out of control! ''What?!'' Kaori cried, ''We're out of control!''
Everyone screamed for their lives!

Place: Space Colony ARK Landing Zone
Cannon Countdown: 2 hours 11 minutes

In a landing zone in the space colony, Kaori was pretty upset. ''Jin can be such a jerk sometimes! He almost cost us our lives!'' she cried, ''Now where did he go?!''
''Looks like he left to do some other commitments.'' Athena said,
Tai looked around. Agumon said, ''Wow, Tai. This place was not known to you guys at all.''
''That's because it was shut down about 4 years ago.'' Athena reported, ''It was due to a terrible accident at the time. This is the first Bernoulli spherical space colony codenamed the ARK. When it was operational at the time, it was the most advanced research centre of its kind. But... looking at it now...''
''It's old.'' Sora continued,''...and I must say... scary.''
''There is not much time before Bison fires that cannon again,'' Kaori said, ''So... is there a way to destroy it?''
Athena accessed the Automap of the ARK via her laptop. ''I have something.'' She said, ''But, it is designed to be impenetrable from outside strikes, meaning it has a super-strong defence mechanism. We have to locate a way to destroy it from the inside.''
She took out a Chaos Emerald. ''A Chaos Emerald?'' Tai cried, ''What are you going to do with that?!''
''It looks like it, doesn't it?'' Athena said, ''But in fact it's a fake one I created after researching the real Emerald. It has the same wavelength and properties, but is less powerful than the real one. It's designed to reverse the energy field inside the Chaos Emeralds, and blow up. It looks so real, even a machine can't tell the difference.''
''Cool!'' Kaori said, ''I will hang on to that.'' She grabbed the emerald from Athena and placed it in her qipao pocket.
''Here's I what I have in mind.'' Kaori said, ''Athena and Sora, stay together. Locate the power supply and destroy it. Tai and I will locate the control room for the cannon. I will switch the real Chaos Emerald for the fake when the machine is not operational.''
''Be safe, ladies.'' She said, ''On you.''
''OK, then.'' Athena said and she and Sora went ahead. Biyomon followed.
Kaori and Tai moved forward. Agumon followed them. Little did they know they were being watched...

Place: Space Colony ARK Central Control Room

Cammy was all by herself in the control room. She was talking on her headset, ''Hello, Bison. What's going on?''
''What?!'' she cried, ''What do you mean they escaped?!''
''That's fine.'' She said, comfort-like ''I will go after them myself.''
''Can you tell me the password for the space colony control?'' Then, she hung up.
''Hmph!'' she said to herself, ''That was too easy! Tricking that dictator is like taking candy from a baby!''
Then, she went to the computer. She typed the password. ''L-U-I-S.''
The computer was loading some information. It ranged from weapons to scientific research. Cammy was skimming through for the information she wanted until finally...
''Found it!'' she cried, ''Research Project Shadow! The ultimate life form!''
Then, she looked at the information. She was extremely astonished! ''That cannot be true!'' she cried, ''What is Shadow anyway?!''
Then, she noticed on the screen Kaori, Athena, Tai and Sora. She also sees Jin in a field outside. Then, she said, ''Time to go! I am dying for the last pieces of the Master Emerald!''

Place: Space Colony ARK Communications Centre
Cannon Countdown: 58 minutes

Bison looked at the screen. Sakura was standing right beside him. ''What is Cammy up to anyway?'' he said
Then, he noticed something. ''This is odd. I am getting two energy readings from separate Chaos Emeralds. Could one of them be a fake?'' He asked, ''I think they are trying to trick me!''
Sakura left, but...''Hold it, Sakura!'' Bison cried, ''I will be one who should tell them the end is near, not you!''
''If anything happens to me, I'm counting on you to finish the job!'' Bison cried, and he teleported out of the room!

Place: Space Colony ARK Central Control Room
Cannon Countdown: 45 minutes

''Athena!'' Kaori cried, ''Athena, do you copy?''
''Yes, Kaori!'' Athena said on her walkie-talkie, ''We're safe and we have shut down the power supply! Now, place the emerald...''
But, then there was sudden silence!
''Athena?'' Kaori cried, ''Athena?!''
''Help me, Kaori!'' Athena cried,
''Tai!!!'' Sora cried from the other end
Someone spoke, ''Tell Kaori and Tai to meet you both back at the research facility. Now!!!!!''
''What?'' Kaori cried, ''What's going on?! Athena?!''
Tai cried, ''What happened?! What's going on?!''
Kaori cried, ''Goddamn it! Bison is holding them hostage! We got to go back for them!'' She, Tai and Agumon ran off!

Chapter 21: Running into Each Other

In an open field of the ARK, Jin was searching for the Master Emerald piece. Lots of small meteorites were falling from space. Jin thought, ''This is one of the toughest expeditions I have ever been on! But, this is my goal I am focusing on here! So... let's do this!''
Miles away, in a lower and more dangerous zone called 'Mad Space', Cammy was searching for a Master Emerald piece that flew down in this area. Then, someone called her.
''Hey, you!'' The mysterious figure said,
Cammy turned around. She asks, ''Who are you? What are you trying to do, knock me out with your cold dead hands?!''
''No...'' the mysterious figure said, ''I have some terrible news for you...'' He whispered in Cammy's ear. She was in shock!
''He did what?!'' Cammy screamed, ''I am going to kill him!!! But, first...'' She picked up the Master Emerald piece she found on the floor. Then, she ran away. The mysteriously figure chuckled...
''Yes...'' he said slowly, ''I have got Jin right where I want him!''
Back in that open field, Jin finally found his piece. Then, he heard, ''I knew you could not be trusted!!!''
He looks up. He found Cammy! ''I cannot believe that you would rob the emerald pieces and keep it to yourself!'' she cried
''Yeah, right!'' Jin replied back, ''That's NOT what it sounds like!''
Then, he said, ''I am finished convincing you! I will no longer accept small-talk! Let's let our fists and feet do the talking!''
''Finally!'' Cammy cried, ''Something we can agree upon!'' She jumped down.
They both looked at each other stoically. Then, they ran to each other! They punched and kicked each other! They blocked and countered each other's attacks!
''You're good, Jin.''Cammy said, and she used an uppercut kick on him! ''But... I am better!''
Jin back-flipped to recovery! ''Hmph!'' he said, ''You have to do better than that!''
Cammy ran to Jin and spun her body like a dart, screaming ''Spiral Arrow!''
But, the floor opened up and they both flew up to the sky! Their fight continued to the sky! They still kept blocking and countering each other's strikes. Then, Jin caught Cammy off-guard with a jab in the face! Jin screamed as he jumped up with an uppercut strike, ''Shouryuu-ken!''
Cammy quickly recovered! ''Now... to show you my real skills!'' she cried and she screamed as she twisted her body straight at Jin and up, ''Spin Drive Smasher!!!''
Jin flew up to the sky, taking hit after hit! Then, he and Cammy fell down to the floor that was now closed! Jin quickly recovered! ''You have done it now!'' Jin cried, ''Now, witness my power!''
He caught her with a jab and bashed her with three rushing uppercuts in a row, with the last one burning her slightly! ''Shouryuu-reppa!!!''
Cammy flew upward with each blow she took! She recovered quickly! She ran right up to Jin and caught him off-guard with an uppercut kick! ''Cannon Spike!'' she screamed Jin flew upward! He flew even more higher as the floor opened! Then, they both landed on a beam. They were pretty tired after a gruelling brawl. Then, they both screamed simultaneously, ''Stop fooling around and give me back my Emerald!''
''You call yourself a hunter!'' Cammy started, ''Yeah, right! You are attacking a lady! How shameful!''
''What kind of 'lady' goes around stealing gems anyway?!'' Jin screams,
Then, they both heard laughter. They look around. They found... Fang the Sniper! ''You!'' Jin cried, ''You set me up!''
''You were a thorn in my side, I like that!'' Fang cried, ''I tricked your little 'girlfriend' here so I can get rid of you for good! How genius is that?!''
Then, Cammy said, ''Trick me? But, how...'' She thought of something. Then, she screamed at him. ''You did this?! You wanted me to do your dirty work?!''
''Thank you, Cammy.'' Fang said, ''You've been a delightful helper.'' He pulls out his gun. ''Now... it's time to ice the martial artist! Sweet dreams, Jin!''
Cammy looks at Jin! She was really confused! ''What can I do?'' she thought, ''I have got to help him! He may be a hunter with an attitude, but he is doing something worthwhile!''
Then, she screamed ''Jin! Look out!''
Fang fired a shot! Cammy pushed Jin out of the way! She fell over the beam and potentially into her doom! Jin looked down. He thought, ''My God! Cammy just saved my life! I feel so bad for her!''
He climbed down and caught her! They both got up the beam. Jin looks ahead. ''Damn!'' he thought, ''Fang escaped again! I will kill him the next time I see him!''
The two were holding hands. Jin realized what he was doing and he let go! ''Sorry...'' he said, ''I have a girlfriend, you know.''
''That's OK.'' Cammy said, ''I kind of assumed.''
Then, she said, ''Umm... You might want your emeralds back.'' She gave the pieces to Jin.
Jin said, ''Thank you.'' He put the pieces together. The Master Emerald has now been formed! He said, ''At last!''
''I'm sorry if I hurt you.'' Jin said, ''I have to go.''
He took the Master Emerald and left.

Chapter 22: Bonded between Courage & Love

Place: Space Colony ARK Sector G-2
Cannon Countdown: 41 minutes

Kaori rushed with Tai in an effort to save their girls' lives. Bison cried on the P.A. ''Come here if you want to save their lives!''
''Come on, Tai!'' Kaori cried, ''What would Sora say?!''
''You're right, Kaori!'' Tai cried, ''We have got to find them!''
Agumon blasted research project-like robots with the Pepper Breath. ''Move it, guys!'' he cried, ''I don't know how long Biyomon can hold Bison!''
Then, they have reached a room with lots and lots of floors and switches. ''Oh my God...'' Kaori cried ''How the hell do we get past that?!''
''I have no idea!'' Tai answered,
''Try flipping a switch.'' Agumon said as he found a lever with a green arrow pointing up. He pulled it. Everyone screamed as they all went upwards!
Then, Kaori thought, ''If we flip the right combinations, then we can reach the research lab quickly in time to save Athena and Sora!''
''Let's go, everyone!'' Kaori cried, '''Find switches that can get us to the lab! Stay together because we are coming through! Move!''
Everyone ran to find switches. They were running as if under gravity defiance! They found switches all over the place. They flew up, down, right AND left with every switch!
Until finally...

Place: Space Colony ARK Globe Research Lab
Cannon Countdown: 33 minutes

Inside the research lab, it was dark and lightless. The only source of light that did shine the room a little was Bison's Psycho Power! He was gripping Athena and Sora by their throats with both his huge hands! He chuckled evilly as the girl tried to breathe and scream! Biyomon lay down on the floor, exhausted and knocked out.
A door opens. Kaori, Tai and Agumon made it! Bison noticed them as they stepped in, ''Let's take care of business. OK, Kaori and Tai?'' he said
''Hand over the Chaos Emerald slowly and then we shall talk about your best friend and your girlfriend... that is, if you really care for them.'' He continued. The girls were still choking for their breath!
Agumon noticed Biyomon on the floor. He cried, ''Biyomon!''
He rushed over to his Digimon companion. ''Are you OK?!'' Agumon cried
''I'm sorry, Agumon.'' Biyomon said, weakly ''Bison was way too powerful. I did not stand a chance against him.''
''That's OK.'' Agumon said trying to comfort Biyomon ''Try to rest.''
Kaori took out the Chaos Emerald. Tai whispered, ''What are you doing?!''
''Trust me, Tai!'' Kaori whispered back, ''I have a plan. If I leave this emerald to Bison, he will think it is a real one. I can knock out two birds with a single stone!''
Bison saw what Kaori is going to do. He said, ''Put the Emerald down to the centre of the area... and back off!!!''
Kaori walked slowly. She carefully placed the Chaos Emerald on the centre circle of the lab. Bison chuckled. His eyes glowed in hellish red! A capsule ensnared Kaori!
''I'm not a fool!'' Bison cried, ''You thought you could trick me with a fake Emerald, right?!''
Then, he tossed Athena and Sora on opposite sides! ''What?!'' Kaori cried
''Sora!'' Tai cried and he ran to Sora who is unconscious.
''It's time you took a ride, Kaori!'' Bison cried, ''To your death!''
''Athena...'' Kaori said looking at her best friend who is slightly unconscious, ''Try to wake up. I'm counting on you to finish the job!''
''Tai!'' Kaori cried to him, ''Take care of Sora and... kill Bison for me.''
''Farewell!'' Bison said and his eyes glowed red again! ''Kaori Sakumai Gonzalez!''
The capsule launched into space! Athena got up, coughing and rushed to the window! ''Kaori!!!''
Inside the capsule, Kaori remembered what Athena had just said about the Chaos Emerald. ''It has the same wavelength, and properties, but is less powerful than the real one.''
Kaori thought as she picked it up. ''The same wavelength and properties... But, is it possible?''
Just then from the lab, the capsule exploded into space dust!!! Bison turned to Athena who is crying at the moment. He approached her, slowly. ''Now we have some unfinished business to take care of! If you give me the real Emerald, I will release you all. You have my promise.''
Athena looked at Bison, ''Kaori... has asked me to do something for her... for the first time in my life! I won't let her down! Because you killed her... you are going to die!!!!!''
She ran right to Bison! While the two were fighting, Tai was still holding Sora. ''Sora!'' he cried, ''Are you OK?! Speak to me!''
Sora opened her eyes. ''Tai...'' she spoke slowly, ''I'm sorry...''
''No. Don't be.'' Tai replied, ''I don't think you have done anything wrong. I did.''
''It's all right.'' Sora said, ''I... I did some things that I never gave... you credit for...''
''Like what?'' Tai asked
''Like... the time you saved... me... from...'' Sora fainted as if she died.
''From what?!'' Tai cried, desperate for the answer, ''Sora! Wake up!''
He sobbed out loud! ''No! Sora!!! I won't leave you!'' Then, he said silently, ''I love you...''
Then, he was thinking back to a pyramid that only he, Sora and some of his friends were. As he did, he said in his mind, ''I still have that nightmare in my head! I should have rescued Sora for the first time!'' He still remembers the electrical fence that blocked his path... and he could not go through because he was afraid of what could happen to him. His real-world counterpart would suffer a horrible fate as his digital self would. He felt regret for the first time for Sora...
...now he felt an even more feeling of regret! He screamed, ''Sora!!!!''
Just then, something in his body began to glow! Sora also has something glowing in her body! Then, a binding flash occurred...
There was nothing, but stars. Tai looked around. He was in white and his heart was glowing. ''What's happening?'' Tai cried, ''Why am I here?''
Then, he saw Sora as an angel! She is in white with long shoulder-less sleeves and panty hoses that go up to her thighs. She also has a glowing gold halo over her head.
Something was glowing on her body.

Then, he opened his shirt. He noticed something on his left pectoral. A bright orange sun is glowing! ''Courage...'' he said,
Sora awakened. She noticed on her breast a pink heart glowing. ''Love...'' she said
Then, she sees Tai. ''Tai...'' she started, ''You really love me?''
''Yes...'' Tai submitted, ''I... was too afraid to say so before... I was afraid that... you would hate me forever.''
''That's not true, Tai.'' Sora replied, ''I would never do a thing like that. The thing I learned growing up is that... love is not all about caring for other people. Love is... searching and having feelings for one another.''
''Until now, I totally forgot that.'' She continued, and then she said, ''I love you too... with all my heart.''
She kissed him. Another glowing light began to bind into a flash...

Back in the space colony and all of a sudden, Sora awoke in Tai's arms! Their Digi-vices are going nuts! ''I'm alive!'' Sora cried and smiled, ''Thank you, Tai.''
The two began to lock lips with one another. Both of them were in tears!
Then, a shot of power went through both Agumon and Biyomon! ''What's this?!'' Biyomon cried, ''What's this power I am feeling?!''
''Yeah!'' Agumon cries, ''I got the power!!!''
Their Digi-vices said, ''Supernova Digi-volution...''
Tai and Sora held their Digi-vices in their hearts. Suddenly, they fused themselves in their own exploding star! Their bodies fused with their Digimon!
''Agumon!'' he cried, ''Supernova Digi-volve to...'' He Warp Digi-volved to Greymon. Then, it quickly became MetalGreymon. Then, it became a mighty soldier-like creature called WarGreymon and finally...
It stayed that way, but the armour in the back grew extremely sharper! The claws are gone and they are replaced by heavy fists! The helmet design was different as it now has a super-strong horn! Finally, a giant sword appeared! It was as large as a flagpole and as wide as a floorboard! In the body of the Digimon, Tai awakened. The new Digimon screamed out, ''...VictoryGreymon!!!!!''
''Biyomon!'' she screamed, ''Supernova Digi-volve to...'' She Warp Digi-volved to Birdramon. Then, it quickly became a birdman fighter named Garudamon and finally...
Flames of yellow surrounded the bird! Multiple wings appeared and four flaming red tails appeared! It had a flaming mane on its neck! Inside the Digimon, Sora awakened. The new Digimon screamed, ''...Phoenixmon!!!!!''
The new Digimon appeared before Bison. Athena was down and her face was bleeding. ''What's this?!'' Bison cried, ''You think you creatures can defeat me?!''
''You tried to kill me, Bison!'' Sora cried inside of Phoenixmon, ''But, you failed! My love for my boyfriend made me come alive!''
''Now, you will pay for killing Kaori!'' Tai cried inside of VictoryGreymon, ''And for attempting to kill my girlfriend!!!!!''

Chapter 23: Final Heats

Place: Space Colony ARK Central Zone
Cannon Countdown: 21 minutes 7 seconds

Sakura was watching the explosion. She said to herself, ''I guess she was someone plain after all...''
In the cannon control room, Cammy was looking at the Chaos Emeralds locked on to the Eclipse Cannon. She said to herself, ''Legend has it that when all 7 Chaos Emeralds combine, the power creates a miracle.''
In her mind, she was jumping for joy! ''I have all six of them!'' she cried, ''They are all mine!!!''
''Nice try.'' Someone said. It was Sakura.
''So... that was your plan right from the start, huh?'' Sakura continued, ''Or... was it a direct order from the United Nations themselves? NOW I know who you are! You are the U.N. soldier, Cammy White! Am I right?!''
Cammy knew she was caught, but she played it cool. ''So... you got me.'' She said, ''I have to say though it was an invasion of privacy.''
''I could say the same thing about you.'' Sakura retorted back
''Your plan has not actually gone your way, has it?'' Cammy said, ''I have now done my part. I will now take what is rightfully mine and leave.''
''You are one pathetic young woman!'' Sakura cried
''Hmph!'' Cammy countered, ''Look who's talking! What about you, huh?!''
Then, she picked up a printout. ''Here are the results of the research project codenamed 'The Ultimate Life Form'. But, if this picture is of the real ultimate life form named Shadow, then who or what is standing in front of me? Hmmm?''
Sakura was getting angry. She was about to get into her fighting position, until...''Sakura! This is Bison!''
It was from her walkie-talkie. ''I now have all 7 Chaos Emeralds! Sakura! Someone is approaching the Eclipse Cannon! There is not much time before the cannon fires again! Can you get over there?''
''Roger that.'' Sakura said, and she hung up. Then, she turned to Cammy. ''If you value your life, I suggest you leave the Chaos Emeralds alone! The fake Emerald is what you are going to get!''
''Do you actually believe that you're the ultimate life form?'' Cammy asked,
''No question about that!'' Sakura replied
''Even your memories may not be real, you know.'' Cammy continued
''Even if my memories are not real, I am still me.'' Sakura said, ''And I will fulfill my promise to Tomoyo and THAT'S the only thing that matters now!'' Finally, she left to chase down the perpetrator.

Place: Space Colony ARK Sector J-5

In another sector, Jin was all alone. He felt something. He said, ''I feel some strange energy...''
Then, a binding flash appeared! Jin covered his eyes. He looked who it was. It was Kaori! She lay right down on the floor. Jin rushed to her.
''Baby!'' Jin cried, ''Are you OK? What happened?''
Kaori awakened. ''Jin?'' she said, ''Oh my God...''
''I was afraid that I was not able to pull that trick off.'' She continued, ''Somehow, I managed to use Chaos Control.''
''Chaos Control?'' Jin asked,
He picked her up. ''Are you going to be OK?'' he asked
''Yeah, baby.'' Kaori answered, ''I'm going to be fine. I'm worried about Athena, Tai and Sora!''
Then, he turned to Jin. ''I hate to ask, but could you help them out?''
''This is our last shot!'' Then, she thought of something. ''That's it! Before the cannon fires, I will toss this emerald inside!!!!!''
She ran, but she came back... to kiss Jin!''Wish me luck!'' she said and she runs off.
''Good... luck.'' Jin replied, embarrassed

Chapter 24: The Family Fight for Earth (or Mother vs. Daughter, Round 2)

Place: Space Colony ARK Sector A-3
Cannon Countdown: 5 minutes 44 seconds

Kaori looks straight ahead. She looked at a long hallway that is between her and the Eclipse Cannon. She thought, ''There's no turning back now. I have a planet to save!
Nothing can come between me and the cannon now.''
Just then, she heard, ''You never stop surprising me, Kaori!'' It was Sakura.
''I thought that the capsule you were in exploded in space.'' She continued.
They both took a walk. ''What can I say, mom?'' Kaori said, ''I fight... and die hard!''
She took out the Chaos Emerald. ''You did save my life, you know.'' She continued, ''I thank you for that.''
Sakura was in a bit of shock. ''It WAS a Chaos Emerald!'' she said, ''Damn! How did you perform the Chaos Control with a fake emerald?! I thought it was impossible!''
''I don't know, mom.'' Kaori said, ''I just did it and... I am here now.''
''Your will is strong, Kaori.'' Sakura said, ''You have strengthened to be a young woman who would take no prisoners! I guess I can say that I am proud of you.''
''That's what I have trained to become.'' Kaori said, as the two women started running. ''I fight for love and justice! Now, I am ready to fight for what I believe in!''
''I see now.'' Sakura replied, ''Your beliefs are also strong. You have a pure heart. You're a girl who looks after others in times of crisis and now... you have the whole world on your shoulders!''
''I can carry a heavy load, mom.'' Kaori replied, ''Now... we finish what we have started!''
''I agree.'' Sakura replied, ''This time, however, I will not hold anything back! I will show you my true power of 'Satsu no Hadou'!!!!!''

They both sped to across the hallway. They stopped and began to fight each other! They both threw their punches! They managed to counter and block them. The floor was about to fall! They both cried, ''Chaos Control!!!''
They warped into another spot! ''Let's see how powerful you are!'' Sakura cried, and got into her horse stance! Kaori cupped her hands. Kaori's light energy surrounded her. Then... it condensed into her fists. Sakura is covered in hellfire! Her dark energy surged into her single fist!
Kaori screamed out after a while of focusing on her energy, ''Shinkuu... Hadou-ken!!!!!'' Her fireball blasted at her mother!
''Messatsu...'' Sakura screamed and fired her ball of flames at Kaori!
Both fireballs came into contact with each others and... BOOM! A huge explosion occurred! Both fighters fell off the bridge! They cried, ''Chaos Control!!!!!''
They teleported to another portion of the long bridge! ''Wow.'' Sakura said, ''You're better than I thought! I have to give you credit!''
''Thanks for the training!'' Kaori said, ''I think it is paying off!''
''You have not seen what I can do yet!'' Sakura cried,
She ran to Kaori! ''Show me what you got!'' she cried and fought Kaori! The two fighters were like competing bats for their food, always fighting to know who would get it.
Then, Sakura punched Kaori in the jaw! Then, she yelled, ''Messatsu...'' She rushed three uppercuts in a row with the third one, sending Kaori to the stars! ''Goodbye... Kaori.'' She said looking down.
Sakura turned away. Just then, she saw Kaori again! ''How?!'' Sakura thought, ''This girl is annoying me enough already!'' She ran to Kaori again.
When she was close enough, Kaori cried, ''Gotcha!''
She jumped up and screamed, ''Shinkuu... Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku!!!!!'' Kaori slammed Sakura with multiple kicks in a single jump! The last one sent her to the stars! Kaori kept running!
She got further until... she saw her mother! Sakura said, ''You are stronger than I imagined. It seems I underestimated you!''
''All is forgiven, mom.'' Kaori said, ''I have been improving. Now, it's time I finish you off!''
''OK, then.'' Sakura said, ''Time to put this to rest! Shungokusatsu!!!!!'' Sakura rushed to Kaori as if she was a ghost and attempted to grab her!
''No way you will kill me with that move!'' Kaori cried.
She has knowledge of the Shungokusatsu (or ''Instant Hell Kill''). When a martial artist performs this move, he or she drags his or her victim to the Netherealm (Hell) where their bodies are both burned and simultaneously attacked by demons. The ferocity with which these demons attack depends on the amount of negative karma an individual has accured over his or her lifetime. As a result, the martial artist performing the technique also puts his or her life in jeopardy. Even the innocent are not afforded any safety from a successfully performed Shungokusatsu, although they'll only be attacked for a short time before they'll go to Heaven if the victim is a good person (he does not have to necessarily be a saint). Against pure evil, this attack can be devastating, since all bad people go to the Netherealm to burn for eternity, even though the demons only attack the person for a short time. The only way to defend against it is by clearing the mind of all desire, guilt, hatred, and anger.
Sakura grabbed Kaori! ''Die!'' Sakura cries
''No way!'' Kaori cries, and counters her throw attempt! She raised her fist up... and connected to her jaw! Kaori interchanged fists and smashed Sakura some more! She screams, ''Shin... Shouryuu-ken!!!!!''
Sakura flew up to the sky and was knocked out! She could not get up. She screams, ''Impossible!!!! I am the ultimate life!''
Kaori looks at her mother once more and leaves.

Place: Space Colony ARK Globe Research Lab
Cannon Countdown: 1 minute 33 seconds

Everyone was down and out in the lab. Athena has blood on her face as she was sleeping. Tai and Sora were exhausted from the Supernova Digi-volution. Agumon, who is now Koromon (who is a giant head with antennae), is also down and out. So is Biyomon, now Yokomon (a plant-head). Bison is also down and out.
Athena got up slowly. She took out her walkie-talkie and said, ''Kaori...we did it.''
Then, she heard beeping. Bison used the last of his strength to snatch the Chaos Emerald. Athena heard, ''Nice job, Athena!''
''Kaori!'' she cried
''Take a look outside!'' Kaori cried from the other side. Athena walked over to a nearby window.

Place: Space Colony ARK Central Control Room
Cannon Countdown: 40 seconds

Bison walked to the control panel. He laughs and says, ''This Chaos Emerald will complete my plan of taking over the world! Now begins the glorious era of Shadowlaw!!!!!''
He inserted the final Chaos Emerald. The Cannon powered up! He laughed evilly! Just then, the area was covered in red! The computer screen read WARNING!
Outside, the tip of the colony opened. Blue energy surrounded the tip. Just then, explosions occurred! The tip was covered in lightning! Then... the explosions stopped. The cannon did not fire! Kaori was hanging on outside and gave a thumbs up!

Chapter 25: A Startling Revelation & A Team Effort

Place: Space Colony ARK Central Control Room

Bison is at the control room... and he is extremely frustrated! The injuries he had suffered during a fight against Athena, VictoryGreymon and Phoenixmon are painful! ''What's going on?!'' he screamed, ''Why won't the cannon fire?!''
The computer screen still read, ''WARNING!'' He screamed, ''What?! What's going on here?!''
The console exploded! Bison screamed and he fell to his doom! In the fire, the computer was still intact! A figure appeared on the monitor... an old man with an extremely long beard!

Kaori and Jin ran back into the abandoned lab! They found Tai and Sora on the floor! They ran to wake them up!
Jin cried, ''Tai! Wake up!''
Kaori cried, ''Sora! Please wake up!''
They both slowly got up. ''Huh?'' Tai said,
''What... happened?'' Sora asked
''They became Digimon!'' Athena said from behind
''Athena!!!!!'' Kaori cried and ran to hug her best friend! ''Are you all right?!''
''I'm OK.'' Athena said, still hurt from the fight with Bison. ''I will live... God, I'm in pain!''
''What do you mean you became Digimon?!'' Jin asked,
''It just... happened.'' Sora answered, ''My love for Tai made me come alive and give Biyomon strength and then all of a sudden... we are one. Our souls fused together!''
''Yeah...'' Tai agreed, ''My courage to love Sora made me fuse with Agumon and then... it's like we were one... but with greater strength than we had before.''
''Anyhow, we beat Bison!'' he continued, ''That's what he gets for messing with us!''
Then, they heard rumbling! ''What's that... vibration?!'' Jin asked,
Then, they heard footsteps. ''Someone is approaching!'' Kaori said,
They found Cammy! ''Cammy!'' Jin cried, ''What are you doing here?!''
''It's all over for us!'' Cammy said,
''What do you mean, it's all over?!'' Jin said
''I just received a message from my boss at the United Nations.'' Cammy reported, ''The Space Colony ARK... is heading on a course for the planet Earth at an incredible velocity. It will probably... make an impact towards Earth... and destroy it.''
Then, they heard a fizzle at a nearby monitor! ''What's that?!'' Jin cried
They all turned to the monitor...

It was that same old man! His message is now playing all over the world on television screens everywhere! This is his message:

The ARK is like a fireball in the sky! It is heading towards the Earth!

A young blonde-haired man was living in a house playing his big bass guitar. He looks up at the stars and said, ''I'm jealous of Tai! Why did Sora choose him over me?! What did he do to deserve a girlfriend like her?!''
''The answer is simple.'' Someone else said. It was a wolf-like animal that is wearing a fur to keep itself warm. ''He cares about her deeply and he is always willing to sacrifice himself for her.''
''Have you done anything like that, Matt?'' it asked
Matt stopped and said, ''No...''
He continued to speak, ''I have not done anything like that for her. The two of them known each other for a long time, just like me and Tai. On a personal level, I should have stepped up! But... you know what, Gabumon? I think Sora deserves to be with Tai. I bet he will do a good job taking care of her.''
''That's the spirit, Matt!'' Gabumon replied, and then he looked up to the sky. ''Oh dear! What's that?!''
Matt looked up. He saw a burning fall of fire in the night sky! ''Oh no! That fire is heading towards Earth! We have to stop it! But... how?''
Just then, his computer came on. He got an e-mail from someone...

In another home in Tokyo, a young red-haired man was working hard on his computer! An insect asked him, ''Izzy, what's all the havoc about?''
''I looked at the sky, Tentomon!'' the boy replied, ''Whatever that fiery thing is, it's heading right towards Earth! We have to stop it and quick!''
''You're sending mass e-mail to all the others?'' Tentomon asked,
''What choice do I have?'' Izzy answered. He kept hammering away on the keyboard. He was sending e-mail to all of the Digi-destined! Unfortunately, only two bounced back.
''What's this?'' Izzy asked, and he opened an e-mail. It was from Tai and Sora! It read:

Dear Koushiro ''Izzy'' Izumi,
Sorry we could not answer your e-mail. We are on an adventure of a life-time! Kaori, Athena and Jin (friends of ours) are stopping Bison from destroying Earth from a space colony! We're having a really fun time! We'll tell you afterwards!

Izzy said, ''Oh my God! They're on that space colony?!''
''Come on, Tentomon!'' he cried, ''We have to go!''
''I'm on my way, Izzy!'' Tentomon replied

In another place, at least in a coffee shop, a blue-haired young man with glasses was having coffee with a star-decorated pink-haired young woman. He said, ''Thanks for taking me out to coffee, Mimi. You're a good person. I needed a break from all that surgery!''
''Thanks, Joe.'' Mimi replied, ''From what I am looking at, you are pretty good with the surgeries yourself.''
''Sometimes the innards of a Digimon gross me out.'' Joe said, ''I usually vomit when I see something like that.''
''Don't worry so much, Joe.'' Mimi continued, ''I know it's not easy for you to hold it in, but you have to try! Look at me! When I see weird fashion styles, I would want to vomit!''
''Don't do it on me, Mimi!'' a plant Digimon named Palmon cried, ''I would not want to use my Poison Ivy on you, but I will!''
''Enough gross out already!'' a furry seal-esque Digimon named Gomamon cried, ''If I ate fish, you would definitely hate its smell, even after vomiting it out!''
Just then, Joe's Palm Pilot rang out. ''Hang on, Mimi.'' He said and checked it. He opened an e-mail. It was from Izzy. It read: ''Look up in the sky!''
Joe and Mimi looked up. A ball of fire is heading towards Earth! They both screamed! ''I don't want to die!'' Joe cried, ''That would be my last wish!!!!!''
''Oh no!!!!!'' Mimi cried, ''I'm too cute and beautiful to die!!!!! What do we do?!''
''We save the planet!'' Palmon and Gomamon cried on the table
''Oh.'' Joe said, ''I knew that.''

In another home, a couple of people were messing around on the bed! ''Hey, guys!'' someone cried. The two people got up. A brunette girl and a blonde guy got out of the bed!
''Patamon!'' the blonde guy cried to a flying hamster Digimon.
''Give us some privacy!'' the brunette girl cried to a cat Digimon
''Sorry, T.K. and Kari.'' Patamon and Gatomon apologized, ''But... look outside!''
They looked up at the sky! A giant ball of fire is heading towards Earth! They were afraid. ''Oh no!'' T.K. cried, ''What do we do?!''
Then, they heard their computer go off. They rushed to it and checked their inbox. They read an e-mail from Izzy. ''It must be urgent!'' Kari cried. It is because it read...

Dear Takeru ''T.K.'' Takaishi and Hikari ''Kari'' Kamiya,
Sorry to rain on your parade (no pun intended), but the flaming ball that you saw is a space colony and it's heading towards Earth! We have to prepare to stop this force! Meet me in Odaiba at 1615 (That's 6:15 PM).

Back at the space colony, everyone was watching the message from the old man. His message said, ''I plan to give you a taste of my revenge, once all the seven Chaos Emeralds are collected. Once I initiate this program, it cannot be disabled. All of you ungrateful humans, who took everything away from me... will feel my loss, and despair!'' ''Is there anything else you want to say?'' an officer asked
''No...'' the old man answered,
''What's going on here?!'' Tai cried,
The rumbling continued! ''Uhh... guys.'' Jin said, ''The vibration is getting worse!''
Athena studied the image and recognized the old man carefully. ''That would be Professor Gerald Robotnik!'' Athena cried
''Who is that guy?!'' Tai asked frantically
''I did a research paper on him some time ago.'' Athena said, ''Professor Gerald Robotnik is one of the greatest minds of science. He's always been helping humanity by making new technology that will make life on Earth much easier. Ever since the massacre at this space colony 4 years ago, his mind began to be corrupted and he decided to bring humanity down with him. He had some friends who were with him at the time, but he lost them, so... he left us this message in wake of the fate that will come to us.'' Sora noticed something and picked it up. It was a small disc. ''Hey, guys.'' She said, ''I found something.''
Athena and Cammy looked at it. ''It's a disc!'' Athena said, ''Cammy, load it on to the monitor and let's see what's on it.''
Cammy loaded the disc onto the computer. ''It's a diary... of the professor.'' She said and she began to read out loud...
I don't quite know what happened, or what went wrong. Was it a mistake to create the Ultimate Life Form? I thought it would be something that would benefit mankind... But then the military guards landed on the Colony that day. They were sent to destroy the research project that I had been working on. My colleagues at the research facility, my two friends, Sakura and Tomoyo, I hope you are all safe. The colony was completely shut down, probably to prevent the prototype from falling into the wrong hands. The ARK was shut down under the premise that there had been an 'accident'. I found Tomoyo's name among those who died when the ARK was shut down. She meant everything to me! And I couldn't bear the thought that she died because of my research. I lost everything! I had nothing more to live for! I went insane!! All I could think about, was to avenge her! Somehow, someway, I got scared as I no longer was able to control my thoughts. All I could think about, was that I wanted it all to end. Based on my original
projections, I was able to complete my project; Shadow Sakura. I designed its mind to be perfect, pure... I will leave everything, to her. If you wish, release and awaken it if you wish to fill the world with destruction.
''Wow...'' Cammy said, ''So, that's why Bison released Sakura from the military installation!''
''Speaking of which...'' Kaori said, ''Where's Bison?''
''He must have died in the blast.'' Athena said, ''Anyway, The core of the Eclipse Cannon is now highly reactive and explosive. This is because of the energy of the Chaos Emeralds is overpowering it. If the colony collides with Earth, it will shatter into pieces!''
''So...'' Sora said, ''We have to stop the Space Colony before it smashes Earth!''
''The Space Colony ARK's position may have shifted due to the amount of energy given off by the Emeralds.'' Athena continued, ''We have to stop the energy from overpowering!''
''How can this be done?'' Sora asked,
''I think there is a way to stop the energy.'' Cammy said and she turned to Jin, ''Jin! We have to use your Emerald! You said to me that the Master Emerald is the only thing that can stop the power of the Chaos Emeralds!''
''Oh yeah!'' Jin said and he took out the emerald. ''If I use it, then I just might be able to stop the power of the Chaos Emeralds!''
''The reaction of the Chaos Emeralds is moving toward the Cannon's Core!'' Athena cried, ''It may be too late!''
''Not quite!'' Kaori said, ''There still may be time left. If we pull together, we might be able to get to the shortcut that leads to the core! Athena, you blast one of the security doors that lead to the core! Tai and Sora, take your Digimon with you and blast the other security door! Cammy, go to the dome and try to drain the liquid out of the core! Jin, locate the switch to the final security door after Cammy drains the liquid from the core! I will get past the energy field to reach the core!''
''Everyone ready?!'' Kaori cried,
''Yeah!'' Everyone cried,
''All right!'' Kaori cried, ''Let's get to work!''

Chapter 26: Race to the Core

Athena went first! A P.A. system cried, ''System alert! System alert! The intruder has breached the security area! Initiate debug program!''
She blasted a bunch of robots in her path! ''Athena, do you copy?'' Kaori cried from the other side, ''Now, eliminate one of the security doors that lead to the Cannon's Core!''
In no time, Athena reached the security and began to bash on it! Robots surrounded her! She jumped up and... shouted ''Phoenix Fang Arrow!!!!'' Her spinning body destroyed all the robots!
Then, she focused on her Psychic energy on the door. A couple of balls appeared around her. She held one in the air and she tossed it at the door! It destroyed it!
In another area, Sora and Tai were racing to another security door! Their Digimon provided cover fire. Then, they reached a room with moving cubes. ''Nice work, Tai and Sora!'' Kaori cried from their headset, ''The second security door should be here! Take your best shots at it!''
''We'll destroy it!'' Agumon cried and he jumped up
''Our firepower will take it down!'' Biyomon agreed and flew up to the door.
They fired at the security door with multiple Pepper Breaths and Spiral Twisters! The security door is destroyed!
Cammy entered a dome. ''Cammy!'' Kaori cried, ''There should be an emergency switch in the dome to drain the liquid from the core! See if you can locate it!''
''I found it!'' Cammy reported, ''But, it's locked right now!''
''That's OK.'' Kaori reported, ''There should be a switch that unlocks the dome. Please find it quickly!''
Cammy searched through various rooms within the giant dome. Then, she found a switch. It opened the dome! ''The dome is open!'' Kaori cried, ''I repeat! The dome is open! Hurry, Cammy! Throw the switch and drain the liquid!''
Cammy rushed back to the central area and stepped on the switch. A door opens and liquid poured out like it was from a kettle! ''System alert! System alert!'' a P.A. cried, ''Energy core drain program terminated! Self-prepare program rising!''
Cammy swam out. Jin grabbed her hand and pulled her up. ''Jin, are you there?!'' Kaori cried on his headset, ''The final security door is in front of you! Locate the switch that opens the door!''
Jin swam in and looked around. He kept his air intact by blowing in bubbles! ''Jin! I have located the switch via the AutoMap!'' Kaori cried, ''The security door control switch is accessible from the waterway there!''
Jin kept swimming in the tunnel until finally... he found the switch! He pressed on it. The door opened, ''System alert! System alert!'' The P.A. cried, ''Primary lock system terminated! Initiate final defence systems!''
Kaori ran through the security door! ''It's my turn now!'' she cried,
''Go, Kaori!'' Athena cried from Kaori's headset, ''Get past the energy field and straight to the core! You're our last hope. We're counting on you!''
Kaori raced through the energy field and she grabbed onto a pole and swung down. ''Kaori!'' Athena cried, ''You should have cleared the electrical disturbance! It's all up to you now!''
Kaori dropped into the liquid and slid down without stopping right to the core!

Chapter 27: Memories & a Prototype

Place: Space Colony ARK Globe Research Lab
Colony Impact Time: 19 minutes 50 seconds

Tai and Sora were rushing to another spot. Then, they saw Sakura. She was looking out of the window right to Earth. ''Who's that?'' Tai asked,
''That must be Kaori's mother.'' Sora replied, ''We should talk to her. We're fighting hard to save the world and she has not done anything! Let's give her a talk.''
They walked right to Sakura. Agumon and Biyomon followed.
Tai asked, ''Are you Mrs. Kinomoto-Gonzalez?''
''Yes.'' Sakura answered, ''But, please... call me Sakura.''
''OK... Sakura.'' Tai said and he introduced himself, ''I'm Tai Kamiya and this is my girlfriend, Sora Takenouchi. We both know your daughter.''
''Listen.'' Tai continued, ''Your daughter has done a lot to make it this far! Without her, all hope would have been lost... and faded! Please... you got to help us! We need you!''
''It's all according to plan.'' Sakura replied, ''There's no reason for me to help them. Besides, there's no way to save anyone!''
''There has to be a way!'' Tai cried, ''I know that people fight over silly things, like me and Sora were fighting over a silly hairclip at one time, but like the professor guy said, they are good if they try their best and never give up on their wishes!''
''Tai.'' Sora butted in, ''Let me do the talking.''
Sora went in front of Sakura. ''Listen.'' She began, ''My mom was once in your position. She would not understand me and sometimes be extremely strict. At one time when I was younger, I was about to go to a soccer match with an injured knee. My mother would not allow me to go and instead help with the flower shop. I kept pushing her to allow me to go, but she kept saying no. Do you know what I said?''
Sora continued, ''I said, 'Why can't you understand me?!' I was so upset at the time. I did not speak to her for a long time. That is... until the attack on Odaiba. We now maintain a good relationship. I know you deny that you have a daughter, but the truth is... you have not taken the time to remember.''
''What do you know about my memories?!'' Sakura screamed,
''I'm saying that maybe there is something that could remind you of your daughter!'' Sora screamed, and then she calmed down ''Don't make the same mistake my mom did. It's because of this that my mom and I had a hard time together when I was young.''
''Wow.'' Tai whispered, ''She's good.''
''Don't jinx it!'' Biyomon whispered, ''Sora's on a roll!''
''My wish is to become a top soccer player and a flower artist! It is wishes like these that made humans what they are... happy!'' Sora continued, ''That's why you should help your daughter out! Saving humans is a good thing! So... I ask you... and I beg of you! Please save your daughter! Give humans a chance to live!''
Then, it clicked! Sakura remembered Tomoyo's exact words! ''Sakura... I beg of you... please, do it for me... for a better future... for all the people who live on that planet... give them a chance to be happy.''
Then, images of Sakura and Kaori lingered in her mind! ''Let them live for their dreams. Sakura, I know you can do it. That's the reason that you were brought into this world. Sayonara, Sakura Kinomoto-Gonzalez!''
Sakura awakened and then she said, ''That's what I promised her... I will now keep that promise... That's what Tomoyo would have wanted... and that's what my daughter would want too!''
Sakura began to cry. Then, she hugged Sora!''Go get her, Sakura!'' Sora cried,
''Thanks, Sora Takenouchi!'' Sakura said, and she turned to Tai. ''You have a really exceptional girlfriend, Tai Kamiya! Take care of her like my daughter would to my best friend's son! I have to go now. I have a promise to fulfill to Tomoyo... Kaori... and to you both.''
Sakura rushed off. Sora walked back to Tai and asked, ''Should we help her?''
''Not yet.'' Tai answers, ''Sakura should be able to handle herself. Besides, we have our trump cards, VictoryGreymon and Phoenixmon!''
''We're trump cards?'' Agumon and Biyomon questioned, ''Wow! We're trump cards!''
''It's all up to us now.'' Tai said, ''I know this is a fight we may not win by ourselves! We have to get everybody together!'' Then, he saw a computer. ''I know! Let's send Izzy an e-mail!''
''Excellent idea, Tai!'' Agumon agreed, ''We could tell the others about our new Digi-volution!''

Place: Space Colony ARK Cannon's Core
Colony Impact Time: 15 minutes 27 seconds

Inside the core, a tower is pumping with the egg-like globes holding it together. In the middle under the tower, there is a shrine that resembles that of great significance. The towers that surround it have the Chaos Emeralds at the top.
Jin said, ''What is that? It looks just like the shrine of the Master Emerald!''
''They must have designed the core like a shrine to harness all the strength and power of the Chaos Emeralds.'' Kaori said, ''Let's move, Jin!''
They both ran to the shrine. But, then something happened!
''All of you ungrateful humans, who took everything away from me... will feel my loss, and despair!'' Professor Gerald's image appeared and scattered on Kaori and Jin! Then, something appeared!
A massive lizard appeared! It was as huge as an arena! It has red skin and a yellow mouth! It landed in front of Kaori and Jin!
''What the hell is that?!'' Jin cried
''Could it be...'' Kaori said, ''...the prototype of the Ultimate Life Form that was supposed to be encapsulated in this colony?!''
''Leave this fight to me.'' Someone said. It was Sakura!
''Mom?!'' Kaori cried, ''What are you doing here?!''
Sakura turned to the monster lizard... with an intention to kill! Then, she turned to her daughter. ''I will fight this monster!'' she cried, ''While you go and get the Chaos Emeralds!''
''But, mom...'' Kaori started,
''No buts!'' Sakura retorted, ''Go now!''

Chapter 28: Mark of Death

Place: Odaiba (Tokyo, Japan)
Colony Impact Time: 13 minutes 25 seconds

Everyone was looking up at the sky. The other Digi-destined along with their Digimon are facing a far worse fate than death. ''At this rate, we have very little time to save ourselves!'' Izzy cried, ''Unless we can come up with some kind of miracle!''
''I guess it's too late to write a will!'' Joe said, ''I would not know who to make it out to!''
''I'm too beautiful to die!!!!'' Mimi cried,
''Snap out of it!'' Matt cried, ''We have to find a way to help out Tai and Sora! They are up there!''
''I am praying for hope!'' T.K. said, ''I'm sure they will be OK!''
Just then, Kari got a text message! T.K. looked at his girlfriend and said, ''Why are you checking text messages at a time like this?!''
''It's from my brother!'' Kari cried, ''He's found a way to get us to help! Use something called... Supernova Digi-volution!''
''Supernova Digi-volution?'' Izzy said, ''But... how?''
''He mentioned something about... using our traits?'' Kari said, ''What traits?''
Then, it became clear! ''Our crests!'' Mimi cried, ''Our traits have the ability to make our Digimon become more powerful! But... how do we use it?''
''Tai said...'' Kari continued reading the text message, ''Try and remember the good times we had together or something like that.''
''I do remember Tai helping me out of jams once in a while.'' Matt said, ''We have been extremely close friends. I have to admit though... even though he can be stubborn at times, I still like him.''
''I always loved how you were smart, Izzy!'' Tentomon cried, ''You were the one that helped Tai save Sora one time!''
''Thanks, Tentomon.'' Izzy said, chuckling ''I always like to read encyclopaedias and do programming!''
''Light meant something to me.'' Kari said, ''When I was possessed by a spirit, it was as if God had come to me. Tai was there for me and I am glad because he is both my brother AND my light that guided me to who I am today!''
''You know, T.K...'' Joe said to him, ''You were the one needed saving yourself! I pulled my butt off for you!''
Then, he stopped and said, ''But... I'm glad I did it. Matt would kill me if I let you be in peril!'' He gave Takeru a hug.
Mimi stepped up and said, ''I'm sure that Tai and Sora would be OK. If they are tattered up badly, they definitely need a makeover!''
Then, something happened... their hearts began to glow! Not only that, everyone's Digi-vices are going crazy! ''It's happening!'' Kari cried, ''We're ready to Digi-volve!'' All their Digimon cheered! ''It's time to show them what we're made of, Matt!'' Gabumon cried,
''I won't like space,'' Palmon said, ''I will enjoy it!!!!!''
''So will I!''Gomamon agreed
''I hope I'm ready for a big commitment!'' Patamon cried
''Don't worry!'' Gatomon said, ''Everything will be fine!''
The Digi-vices said... ''Supernova Digi-volution.''
Everyone put their Digi-vices in their hearts. They became an exploding star and their bodies fused with their Digimon!
''Gabumon! Supernova Digi-volve to...''
''Tentomon! Supernova Digi-volve to...''
''Palmon! Supernova Digi-volve to...''
''Gomamon! Supernova Digi-volve to...''
''Patamon! Supernova Digi-volve to...''
''Gatomon! Supernova Digi-volve to...''

Back at the colony, things are not going so well for Sakura against the creature known as the Biolizard. She was being thrown around and shot at! ''No way!'' she thought, ''This creature is not taking a scratch!''
''I have to find a way to weaken it!'' Then, she looked up at the support system. ''That's it! A Shungokusatsu can kill the support system!''
The Biolizard roared! Eggs popped off and the gravity began raise Sakura up! She flew up avoiding the eggs and targeting the support system. She went inside and performed a Shungokusatsu!
The Biolizard roared to its apparent death. Sakura jumped out and screamed, ''Get out, you ugly prototype!!!!!''

Kaori and Jin reached the shrine. Once they made it, Jin deposited the Master Emerald on the hole in the middle of the shrine. He recited a spell. ''The servers are, the seven Chaos. Chaos is power; power is enriched by the heart. The controller is the one that unifies the Chaos. Only you can do this; stop the Chaos Emeralds!''
The Master Emerald began to spin at a fast rate! Energy flew around the core like crazy and suddenly the Biolizard roared! Then, it disappeared.
''Is it gone?'' Jin asked
Sakura rushed in. ''What?'' she said, ''Did it just use Chaos Control?!''
The vibrations continued to intensify! ''But... how?!'' Jin cried, ''We've stopped the Chaos Emeralds! But, I don't understand! Why the hell is the Space Colony still on a crash course to Earth?!''
Athena cried on Kaori's headset. ''I have bad news, Kaori! The Prototype is still alive! He's controlling the Space Colony as it is falling to Earth! He has become one with the Space Colony, and is determined to keep it on its collision course!!!''
''Now what, Kaori?!''Jin cried
Kaori turned to her mother. ''Mom?'' she said, ''Are you thinking what I am thinking?''
''Yes, I am... my daughter.'' Sakura replied
They both raised their single hand in the sky. The Chaos Emeralds came together and they began to spin! Both fighters closed their eyes, got into a horse stance and focused on their energy. Until... they opened their eyes!
They are flying up in the sky! Their appearance changed! Kaori's hair is now gold and so is her bracelet! She also now has a kanji on her back... it is that of her name. Sakura's hair is now white and she now has earrings with the single kanji 'kamihito' (means 'man of God'). Her kanji on her back also reads 'kamihito'. They are now Shin Kaori and Shin Sakura!

Chapter 29: SuperNOVA

The Biolizard has successfully connected itself with the Space Colony! It became known as the FinalHazard! ''Let's go, mother!'' Shin Kaori cried,
''Let's kill this creature... together!'' Shin Sakura cried
They rushed right to the FinalHazard! They both cupped their fists and fired their Hadou-ken attack! It damaged the swelling area!
The FinalHazard roared and fired a pink beam at the two fighters! They were hit! ''You won't start the party without us!'' someone cried,
It was a couple of Digimon! ''Who are you?!'' Shin Sakura cried,
''VictoryGreymon!'' Tai and the new Digimon cried together
''Phoenixmon!'' Sora and the new Digimon cried together
''Yeah!'' Shin Kaori cried,''We'll make sure that the FinalHazard gets what he deserves... a supernova blast from Hell!''
''Let's go!'' Shin Sakura cried
A pink beam was aimed at everyone! VictoryGreymon shouted, ''Victory Charge!!!!'' With the giant sword, he bounced the beam back at the FinalHazard! It took damage and it roared!
Shin Kaori and Shin Sakura charged at the FinalHazard. A pink egg shot Shin Kaori! ''Kaori!!!'' Shin Sakura cried,
Another egg was about to hit Sakura! She parried it and disappeared! She appeared above FinalHazard and chopped the swollen zone!
''Kaori!'' Shin Sakura cried as she flew back to her daughter, ''Are you OK?''
''I'm OK, mom.'' Shin Kaori said,
Phoenixmon flew up and shouted, ''Crimson Flame!!!!'' The blast of flame came from her mouth and smashed FinalHazard swollen zone! It roared in extreme burning pain! More eggs came out of the FinalHazard's body. They hit Shin Kaori, Shin Sakura, VictoryGreymon and Phoenixmon! ''How the hell do we defeat this creature?!'' Tai cried inside VictoryGreymon
''There's no way to stop him at this rate!'' Sora cried inside Phoenixmon
''How about plan 'Apocalymon 06'?'' someone cried. More Digimon are approaching the ARK!
''Who are you guys?!'' Shin Kaori cried
A fairy-esque Digimon with a cape attacked the FinalHazard! ''OK, Rosemon! Let's give this monster an extreme makeover!''
''Mimi?!'' Tai and Sora cried
Rosemon's whip shined in pink and turned into a pike straight as a pole. And all of a sudden... she screams ''Roses Rapier!!!!!''
Her attack smashed the FinalHazard! It lowered its defences! ''Yeah!'' Tai cried, ''It's working! Thanks, Mimi!''
''Anytime, Tai!'' Mimi replied
''Hey, Tai!'' someone cried, ''I won't let you and Sora die in vain!''
''Matt?!'' Tai cried
''How do you like my Digimon?'' Matt asked inside his Digimon. ''It is a cyborg wolf like MetalGarurumon! But, it's not! This is Z'dGarurumon!''
It aimed its cannon at the FinalHazard! ''I locked on him, Matt!'' the Digimon cried
''Fire!'' Matt cried
''Z'd Cannon!!!!!'' they cried and a shot came from the cannon on the body!
The cannon's shot hit the FinalHazard hard! It began to bleed in yellow!
''Here I come!'' someone cried, ''Horn Buster!!!!!'' A shot of electricity hit the FinalHazard!
''Izzy?!'' Tai and Sora cried,
''Yeah!'' Izzy cried inside his Digimon. It is shelled in yellow and it had a giant horn! It also has a few insect wings! ''Meet HerculesKabuterimon! This Supernova Digi-volution technique is prodigious! Thanks, Tai!''
''You're welcome!'' Tai replied
''Here's my shot!'' someone cried, ''Water Tail Blaster!!!!!''
A shot of water hit the FinalHazard! ''Nice job, Plesiomon!'' someone continued, ''That creature needs exceptional surgery!''
''Joe?!'' Tai and Sora cried,
''Hi, guys!'' Joe said inside his Digimon. ''Look at my Digimon! It's like a plesiosaurus! Despite being an aquatic Digimon, Plesiomon can fly. He was discovered in a computer of an unconfirmed living things research laboratory in England. But he was treated as rumour among the researchers. He appears when his appearance can be shown, creating a fog when he does. His shiny appearance is very mysterious.''
''Oh, Joe!'' Tai laughed
''Wait for us!'' two people cried, ''You guys should not start the party without us!''
''T.K.?!'' Tai and Sora cried,
''Brother!'' someone else said,
''Kari!!!!'' Tai cried
''Like our Digimon?'' T.K. asked in his Digimon. His Digimon is an angel, but a giant angel! It has armour as if he is a knight. He also has wings of an angel, but they are in gold. ''I am Seraphimon!''
''And... I am Ophanimon!'' Kari cried inside her Digimon. She carried a winged aqua-coloured shield and a winged lance which is as long as a pitchfork! She has wings of an angel and golden-armoured wings. She is also covered in aqua-coloured armour. This Digimon is known to have been the Great Angel of "light". She is said to hold the spirits of Fire, Thunder and Ice.
''Ready, T.K.?!'' Kari cried,
''You got it, girlfriend!'' T.K. replied,
''Girlfriend?!'' Tai cried
Seraphimon covered himself with orbs and fired them at the FinalHazard screaming ''Strike of the Seven Stars!!!!!'' They hit the FinalHazard!
Ophanimon is holding 10 crystals and she shouted, ''Sefirot Crystals!!!!!'' The crystals shot the FinalHazard! The creature felt more pain!
Shin Kaori cried, ''All together!''
Kaori and Sakura got into a horse stance. They focused their high energy and shouted,''Messatsu...''
They fired their flaming fireball at the FinalHazard! It connected!
VictoryGreymon installed the sword on the arm, and focused on his energy on the sword. Then... it screamed, ''Trident Gaia!!!!!''
He thrusted the sword at the Final Hazard! It ripped the FinalHazard's skin!
Phoenixmon thrusted its wings and screamed, ''Starlight Explosion!!!!'' The stars landed on the FinalHazard... and exploded!
Z'dGarurumon screamed, ''Full Metal Blaze!!!!!'' Both the cannon and weapons on the body fired at the FinalHazard! The weapons connected to a hit!
The Tifaret Jewel on Rosemon began to bloom and charge up. It screamed, ''Forbidden Temptation!!!!!'' A blast of energy followed along with cherry blossom petals and hit the FinalHazard!
HerculesKabuterimon cried, ''Horn Buster!!!!'' The electrical shot hit the FinalHazard!
Plesiomon cried, ''Sad Water Blast!!!!!'' A shot of water from the mouth hit the FinalHazard!
Seraphimon created a sword and shouted,''Excalibur!!!!!'' He slashed FinalHazard!
Then, Ophanimon aimed her lance and shouted, ''Eden's Javelin!!!!!'' Her shot separated the colony from the FinalHazard!!!! It appeared to have died.
''Yeah!'' Shin Kaori cried, ''We did it!!!!!''
''Something's wrong, Kaori!'' Shin Sakura cried, ''I feel... something in the air.''
Then, the Biolizard came to life! It charged up a beam... and fired! ''Oh no!'' Shin Sakura thought, ''It's all over!''
''No way!'' Shin Kaori cried and guarded herself against the giant laser beam! ''Hurry, mom! Blast his head! The rest of you, provide cover fire!''
''This is it!'' Shin Sakura thought, ''It is NOW or NEVER!''
She flew up in the sky... and chopped the Biolizard's head with full force! Inside the Space Colony, everyone cheered! Even the Digimon and the humans inside cheered! ''Wow...'' Shin Sakura thought, ''The ambiance of people cheering... I never thought that doing something extremely good, especially for my daughter, would make me feel wonderful...''
''Umm...Mom?'' Shin Kaori said,
Shin Sakura turned to her daughter. ''We make a pretty strong duo. Can we start over?'' Shin Kaori asked
Shin Sakura thought about this and said, ''Deal.'' They shook on it.
Shin Kaori cried in pain!''Kaori!'' Shin Sakura cried, ''Are you OK?''
Shin Kaori began to break in tears. ''Mom...'' she began, ''That's the first time you cared about me... for a long time!''
''I'm OK, though.'' She continued, ''My arm will heal. That was a pretty tough fight.''
Then, they heard roaring! The Biolizard blazed past them! ''Kaori! Sakura! Tai! Sora! Izzy! Matt! Mimi! Joe! T.K.! Kari! Cammy speaking!'' she cried from the inside of the colony, ''The Biolizard is still on a crash course for Earth! Somehow, it regained energy from out of nowhere! It is going to destroy Earth as it is using its body as a missile! We have to do something now!''
''There was no detection from the Master Emerald of its mysterious energy source!'' Jin cried, ''Give it hell! You have four minutes!''
''You guys are our last hope...'' Athena cried, ''Good luck... and beat that lizard to a pulp!!!!!''
''Copy that!'' Shin Sakura cried, ''Over and out!''
She looks at her daughter. ''Kaori's hurt!'' she thought, ''There's no way she can heal quickly! There's very little time left!''
Then, she smiled and said to her, ''You don't look so good, Kaori. Why not rest up?''
''No way!'' Shin Kaori cried, ''I'm staying with you! I can't let you have all the fun yourself!''
''Guys!'' Sora and Phoenixmon cried, ''There's no time to argue! Our efforts would be in vain if we do not kill this creature!''
Shin Sakura held her headset. ''Hello?!'' Izzy and HerculesKabuterimon cried, ''Are you still there?! Kaori?! Sakura?!''
She smashed the headset into pieces! Shin Kaori was shocked! ''Mom!'' she cried, ''Why did you do that for?!''
Shin Sakura tossed her daughter something. Shin Kaori received it. ''Tell everyone, including your Digi-destined friends, that I thanked them for their support.'' Shin Sakura said, ''Tell them also that I had appreciated their company.''
She turned to her daughter. ''Thank you... for all the memories we had together. My Clow Book will be waiting for you.''
''What?!'' Shin Kaori said, ''I don't understand. What are you telling me? I'm fine! We're going to kill that creature if it's the last...''
Then, she felt something and fainted! Shin Sakura held on to her, and screamed, ''Chaos Control!!!!!''
''There.'' Shin Sakura said, ''At least my daughter will be safe.''
Tai and VictoryGreymon saw this and screamed, ''But... why?!''
''I think she's going to sacrifice herself to save us all!'' Kari and Ophanimon cried
''We can't let her!''T.K. and Seraphimon cried and he rushed after Shin Sakura!
''No! T.K.!'' Matt and Z'dGarurumon shouted, but it was too late! Shin Sakura shot Seraphimon with a Gou Hadou-ken shot!
Then, she turned to the Biolizard! ''I will kill you...'' Shin Sakura screamed, ''If it means to save the Earth... if it means to save my daughter... then, I shall take my life as well!'' Then, she sped up to the Biolizard. She appeared in front of it! The Biolizard opened its mouth! It chomped her up! ''Die!!!!'' Shin Sakura cried,
She performed a Super Shungokusatsu! An explosion occurred! The kanji 'kamihito' appeared in the planet. Her body flew out to the Earth. She thought, ''Tomoyo! Is this what you truly wanted? I'm coming with you! This is a promise I have fulfilled for you!''
Her mind was filled with memories of her family, her friends, and her acquisition of the Clow Cards and now... she has another memory in her mind that she calls the best achievement of her life: A daughter who will fill her shoes as a Clow Card captor.

Back on Earth, everyone was cheering! They prayed that a catastrophe would come to an end and it did! The world is now at peace.

Chapter 30: True Peace

A light was shining inside the Space Colony lab. The bodies of the Digi-destined landed softly in a circular pattern. Tai and Sora landed softly on the centre of the lab. Their Digimon, who are now heavily exhausted from the fight and back in their Rookie forms, also landed softly.
Tai and Sora were the first to awaken. ''Hi...'' Sora said slowly.
They both got up with Tai helping Sora up. Sora began, ''Thank you for everything.'' She said to her boyfriend
Tai chuckled, ''You're welcome... If it weren't for us and the mother-daughter team, who knows what could have happened.''
''True.'' Sora replied, and then she said,''Hey... Back in the pyramid complex in the Digital World, I never really thanked you for saving me from the black pit. I guess you really cared about me. So...''
She chuckles and said, ''Thank you.''
Tai slightly burst into tears. ''You're welcome, Sora'' He said, and they were about to kiss... until his friends awakened... and the door opened!
Jin, Athena and Cammy were cheering! They hugged both Tai and Sora! ''We did it!'' they cried, ''We saved the planet!''
''Tai!'' someone cried. It was Matt. He stepped forward to his best friend.
''Listen.'' Matt began, ''I never took the liberty to say that you truly deserve Sora, so... congratulations.'' He let out his hand.
''Thanks, Matt!'' Tai replied, and he shook his hand.
Izzy rushed to Tai. ''Izzy!'' Tai cried, ''How did you like that?! That was cool, you and your Digimon together!''
''Are you kidding?!'' Izzy cried, ''It's prodigious! I wonder if Davis, Yolei, Cody and Ken could try this! I should tell them! I'll tell them that you started this!''
''Thanks, Izzy!'' Tai replied,
''Tai! Sora!'' someone cried. It was both Mimi and Joe!
''Hey, I liked both your Digimon!'' Mimi cried, ''They accessorize well AND they are gorgeous!!!''
''I would not have joined you guys because I would have a sudden attack when I'm in space!'' Joe said, ''But, thanks to you both, I managed to overcome it!''
''Oh, Joe!'' both Tai and Sora laughed
''Brother!!!!'' someone cried
''Kari!!!'' Tai cried and gave his sister a hug! T.K. appeared right behind her.
''Oh, big brother!'' Kari cried in tears, ''I thought I had lost you!''
''It's OK.'' Tai replied, ''I'm here... and safe.''
Then, he turned to T.K. ''Make sure you take good care of my sister, T.K.!'' Tai said, ''I do not want to hear that you did wrong to her!''
''No worries, Tai.'' T.K. replied, ''I will be responsible for her at all times!''
Then, Tai and Sora turned to each other. ''Now, where were we?'' Tai asked,
Sora gestured at her lips. They began to make contact until... Kaori walked in and she was crying. Matt asked, ''Who is that?''
''That's Kaori Sakumai Gonzalez.'' Tai responded, ''She's one of our good friends who helped saved the planet.''
Cammy stepped forward and asked, ''Did Sakura make it?''
''No...'' Kaori answered slowly. She showed her a key with a head of a bird and wings for eyelids... as well as the 'kamihito' earrings that Sakura wore.
''Do you believe that...'' Cammy began asking, ''That the professor modified Sakura to carry out the revenge on all those who live there on Earth?''
Kaori sighed, ''She is what she is. She is both my mother, and a brave and heroic fighter who gave her life to save Earth.'' She wept some more.
Cammy sighs, ''I guess you're right.''
Izzy walked to Athena. ''You're a pretty smart girl.'' He said, ''Do you always have the time to read books and catch up on math equations?''
''Not necessarily.'' Athena said, ''I also take the time to sing my heart out and hang out with Kaori. I am a strong student at my university though, which I find pleasing. We should work on a project together sometime!''
''Yeah!'' Izzy agreed,''Let me know the details.''
'''You know, Joe...'' Mimi began, ''I think we should do an operation together.''
''What?'' Joe said, ''You mean open your body, look through vital organs and find what is wrong with you?! Thank you... but I think I'll pass.''
''Not that!'' Mimi laughed, ''I mean... have a little fun in bed!''
''Oh!'' Joe laughed, ''Maybe... I'll have to check my work schedule.''
''Hey, guys.'' Agumon said to all the other Digimon, ''What do you want to do when we return to the Digital World?''
''I don't know.'' Gomamon said, ''Put on a show about what we did to help our friends to save Earth?''
''That's an idea, Gomamon!'' Palmon agreed, ''I think it will work out just fine!''
''Yeah!'' Gabumon said, ''I will write the script for the show!''
''I will find the props needed!'' Biyomon cried,
''I will find the publicity!'' Tentomon said, ''I am pretty strong at that!''
''Let's work together on that, Tentomon!'' Gatomon said,''I think we can cover more people this way!''
''I want to invite Elecmon to see it!'' Patamon said, ''He will be so proud of me when he sees it!''
''Everyone in agreement?'' Agumon cried,
''Yeah!'' Everyone else responded
''Isn't it beautiful, T.K.?'' Kari said, looking at the planet Earth ''It looks so real from way out here!''
''I agree.'' T.K. replied, ''I think we were given Digimon for a good reason. I knew that Tai and Sora had their reason of why they pulled theirs out of the Digital World. It would be times like these where we all need to come together.''
''You're right, T.K.'' Kari replied, ''I am really glad my brother is OK.''
Matt said, ''You were a pretty good leader, Tai. Take good care of Sora.''
''I will, Matt.'' Tai replied, and then he asked, ''How are things working out?''
''I don't know yet.'' Matt said, ''Our band has not had a decent appearance for over a year now... and I do not know what's happening.''
Tai gestured at Athena. ''There's someone who can open up for you guys!'' he said
''Do you think so, Tai?'' Matt asked as he looked at Athena.
''I know so!'' Tai responded
''Good luck, Matt!'' Tai said as he hugged his best friend
''You too, Tai.'' Matt replied and he walked off
Tai walked over to Sora. ''When we get home...'' he began, ''Do you want to...''
He was really nervous. ''...have dinner with me?!''
He knew that came out wrong! Sora chuckled and said, ''Sure... but no fast-foods!''
Kaori still looked at her earrings and decided to wear them. ''Wow, Kaori. Those look good on you.'' Someone said. It was Jin!
''Thank you, baby.'' Kaori said and gave him a kiss in the mouth.
''Hey, listen...'' Jin said, ''I want to tell you that your mom is up in heaven with my mom. I know you two had a really good time together.''
''It's OK, Jin.'' Kaori responded and showed him her Clow Key, ''You see this? My mom had another line of work. She has been collecting Clow Cards. Your mother videotaped my mom's attempts to capture the Clow Cards. I guess our moms have something in common. I believe I can continue her line of work as well as continue to perfect my fighting skills!''
''Jin?'' she continued, ''Will you be there for me if the Clow Cards are unleashed again?''
''Sure, Kaori.'' Jin said, ''Anything for you.''
''Thank you.'' Kaori said, ''Now, let's go home. I guess this adventure for all of us has come to an end.''
Everyone began to leave. Kaori looked back one more time and said, ''Sayonara, Sakura Kinomoto-Gonzalez.''
